We have been wanting to try Sheila's Baking since she first started but have always been in town on the days she is closed but we finally got a chance and wow it was worth it! We ordered the strawberry cream donuts, strawberry donuts, and some peach pinwheels. All were so fresh and not too sugary! Coffee was great too, but I recommend half sweet if you're not a fan of super sweet drinks. There are places to sit inside and out (it's right off the main street!). Service was very friendly - we had ordered ahead the day before online, and it was all ready to go. I cannot recommend here enough!

Open late for Third Thursday and serving quality fresh baked goods, sometimes there's a line out the door but worth the wait. The service is always wonderful, fast and friendly. Classic Cinnamon Roll and a Carmarelli are my favorite. They introduced a new flavor, Salted Caramel, it kinda has a coffee/ espresso after taste but not overpowering - I'm not a coffee drinker and I like it.

There's not a bad pick in the bunch

As always, exceptional service, quality of food, and nice a nice atmosphere to hang around and enjoy a doughnut, or two, or maybe more.

The Sheila's Baking food truck is now in Aiken every Friday! And you can order online in advance a day or two before if you want to make sure they will have your favorite treat. If not, make sure you arrive early so they don't sell out! This is now one of the things I look forward to on Fridays. I absolutely love the klobasnek (sausage inside a fluffy pastry) and get two so I can enjoy one on Saturday as well. Then I try one of their amazing donuts so I can figure out which I like best...though you can't really go wrong with any of them. This week I tried the espresso cream and the apple pie a la mode doughnuts. Both were amazing and will be on my list for future weeks.

Sheila bakery was the last bakery/store I went to before leaving GA. This is a quaint bakery with a lot of history to it. All of their pastries looked delicious and hand made. Definitely a huge fan. I ended up picking up lemon poppy seed doughnut for myself. It reminded me of my childhood eating lemon poppy seed muffins. I also picked up a Chocolate cupcake for my wife. I travel all the way back to DC with the cupcake and she loved it.

I stand by this is the best dessert shop in Augusta. I have probably tried everything on their menu at this point, and have yet to find anything I don't like. The staff is so nice, and I love the experience every time I visit. The maple bacon and lemon donuts are my personal favorites, but literally everything is fantastic!

Looking for an early morning delight. This is the place in the heart of downtown North Augusta. Warning parking at times can be tight, so try looking at side streets. The location closes at 1 pm, so during the last hour, their inventory becomes very sparse. I have been here a couple of times usually during lunchtime, but I have my heart set on the elusive klobasnek. So I stuck with my usual ice coffee. My friends ordered the doughnuts the maple brown donuts and cinnamon. They were both soft and moist, no complaints here. The display of their pastries is a bit disappointing but the cashier will walk you through what pastries they have available. The lobby is a bit small and can get crowded trying to figure out who is in line, but a small price to pay to support local businesses. If you have sweet tooth for early morning pastries/donuts. I would recommend swinging by in the early morning.

On a stretch on North Augusta just across the river, this bakery is neat and offers some indulgent southern pastries and donuts. The pecan sticky bun seemed obligatory, and was as sweet as one would expect. They didn't have the peach pastry I wanted as they close after lunch and were running out of stuff, but the cinnamon roll I took for the next day was a splendid rendition of a basic, the icing so delicate, the cinnamon so strong. There were many other things, and drinks as well, but I'll have to pace myself.

This place was busy, and deservedly so, the smells of fresh baked pastries and donuts flavors mixed with the aroma of fresh ground coffee. Even though there was a line out the door we were quickly served with a warm smile and a friendly face. The ambiance was warm and comfortable and I loved their logo on the brick wall. The hot chocolate was made with dark chocolate, which I love, and the cappuccino was rich and creamy. The donuts and pastry were all absolutely delicious.

I have a weakness for a good pastry shop. The donuts here are amazing. I went with the strawberries and creme this morning, and it did not disappoint. We plan on sampling one of all these delicious flavors. Peanut butter, strawberry iced, blueberry, and apple fritters. The list goes on. I even got a peppermint hot chocolate that was superior to a certain coffee shop that we won't name, but it starts with an S. The line was long, but quick. The price for a dozen donuts was a little steeput what is the price for perfection? Am I right? Sheila has my vote for best bakery, I just wish she had later hours during the week to feed my sweet tooth.

went EARLY thursday morning because we were told people lined up early for them but there was no line so i guess we got lucky! the staff was so friendly and polite. we also got a coffee, it was pretty good. we got a little bit of everything and they've got a good bit to choose from. they didn't have a lot of the classics like i thought they would!!? ex: boston crème or jelly filled but what they have instead makes up for it!! they are always changing flavors so make sure to stay updated on their website!

Cute little spot! Plenty of street parking, coffee was good, pastries not to sweet (which is how I prefer them!) would recommend.

Delicious donuts and baked breakfast foods, both sweet and savory. A bit on the expensive side, but worthy it as a treat.

Where we learned that the whole block was out of power, but they still had their donuts and all... I'm not proud, and my pancreas may never forgive me, but I regret nothing. I was thinking that a donut would be nice. And then I saw the maple bacon twist, so I ordered it. And then my Bride asked "is that an apple fritter?" and the nice young lady behind the counter said "yes, and we also have PEACH!" So we ordered one of those. And then she pointed out the pistachio donut, so I *had* to order that. And then my Bride saw the crème brûlée donut and that completed the order. We paid in cash- I got complimented on my old school coin purse- and repaired to the picnic table outside, where we split each of our treasures in half. And then we ate them all, like the feral little goblins we are. The pistachio donut was not particularly pistachio-y, but was a good frosted donut and had adorable autumn-themed sprinkles on it. The peach fritter was delicious- exactly what I imagined it would taste like. The maple bacon twist was a textbook example of the style, and could only have been improved by putting the maple and bacon toppings on an eclair instead of a cake. (Hint, hint.) The star of the meal was the crème brûlée donut. One of the young ladies piped it full of cream right before she packed it, so it didn't have time to get soggy. Epic donut filled with delicious cream- not some custard goo - and topped with a burnt sugar crust. I will never come back to Augusta without going back to Belair Donuts, and will honestly consider making any trip south from Virginia pass through here just to stop and get another one of those. And as we finished our feast, the lights came back on. Never underestimate the power of great donuts! Literally the best $11.88 (tax included) we've spent this month. (Military discount is available from this veteran-owned business.) We're looking forward to going back tomorrow to see how the kolaches and breakfast burritos are! And to see if they have any more crème brûlée donuts... Edited to add: Breakfast today was sausage, egg and cheese burritos in jalapeño wraps, and we split a cheese kolache and a crème brûlée donut with pumpkin cream cheese filling (small upcharge). Which is actually pumpkin and cream cheese, not just pumpkin spice flavored. 10/10, no notes. The kolache reminds me of my babcia's cooking, and the burritos were plump, hot, and delicious. $17.46 for the whole thing! Tomorrow morning we'll get the bacon egg and cheese, just to round out the collection. Final edit. Bacon egg and cheese burritos were delicious, but I honestly think I liked the overall flavour of the sausage one better. The cream cheese puff (we added the pumpkin cream cheese filling to this one, too!) was remarkable! It has cream cheese in the end opposite the filling hole, so if you're sharing like we did, cut it lengthwise. Which we did! (The little donut voice in my head ftw!) Looking forward to going home, so our next visit comes that much sooner!
