Just to be told that I need an MRI. I left at 12:05. My referral for the MRI sat on "Kathy's desk" for 14 days. I called 3 times just to be told how busy they were. My MRI was denied based off, "not enough information, must have PT referral." I HAD BEEN IN PT FOR WEEKS by that time. I called Rask's office back to see what the next steps were, I was told "check with your doctor." RASK IS MY DOCTOR?!? Got a referral (from my PCP) to new ortho group. MRI approval in less than 24 hours. MRI scheduled within 3 days of appointment with new ortho group. Rask... let's get into the 21st century and maybe hire "Kathy" an assistant. That was ridiculous.

Ok so first of all, the information on YELP says this location is closed on Friday. This is clearly…read morenot accurate as there are patients currently being assisted in this location. I suggest someone double check this so the correct hours are available. This morning I was scheduled for a deep clean, descaling. Not the most exciting, but if you know me I was bright eyed and bushy tailed during the whole experience. The wait was a little long. Appointment was at 9, taken in about 9:07, and hygienist (Tina) started procedure at about 9:25. The whole procedure only took about 30 minutes. This was very surprising to me. I have (not proudly) had this procedure a couple other times and both times it was almost 90 minutes. Maybe my teeth had more issues? I don't know..anyway the right of my face is totally numb but my tongue is not, so props to Tina for that. I do have to say however that the audible sighing while the work was being done was noticeable. I know my teeth need work, it kind of non-verbally expresses this. Also calling a tooth #31? Definitely necessary if passing info to a Dentist, but working in the medical field myself using work jargon with patients is usually not best practice. Anyway much quicker than expected and overall very positive experience.

I had multiple consultations for a breast augmentation, prior to finding Athenix. We immediately clicked. I had never had any surgeries prior to my augmentation, so finding the right surgeon and team was very important to me. From the first consultation through the first month into my recovery, the team at Athenix has been so kind, so comforting, and exceeded my expectations. Dr. Orlando addressed any concerns that I had and made me feel very at ease. From their level of professionalism and knowledge, I knew I was in great hands. I had a really good first appointment with Dr Manoso at O+F Specialists…read more I was a initially bit nervous going in but by the time I had x-rays and a talk with the MA, I was more relaxed. Dr Manoso showed me the X-rays and explained my injury. Thankfully it appears as it may heal w/o surgery. After an exam he said this would take some time to heal and to be patient. I was given the OK to walk and do some light aerobic on the elliptical but at less than my pre injury 60 minutes time. I am glad I was directed to see Dr Manoso when scheduling and confident he will be my guide through the healing and resuming the sports I love!

The patient is 100 days overdue for facet injections for pain. By the time he gets an appt. at the VA he will be 135 days overdue for pain treatment and needs to go back on Morphine for a month. THEY WILL NOT "CALL YOU WITH AN APPOINTMENT." Tuality OHSU Ortho did not tell the patients or the VA Community Care that there are no appointments. Sarah NUTTBROCK (Portland VA Community Care for pain) continues giving veterans referrals to this place. She had 'no idea' that Tuality OHSU Ortho was "moving their procedure room and no appointments are available." (as per Shelly) Shelly will not help you by connecting you to anyone in authority who could assist you. Instead, Shelly will give you the "patient relations" number, where Margarita will tell you she is sorry. Poor Communication, Rude and Dismissive. Front desk person seems to be there for Spanish speakers only and does not appear to understand or speak English. .
