This is still a location with competitive prices for the area. The prices of stations a bit south of here are higher, so if you are coming from the south, it's worth skipping those stations and coming here. As I noted before, it's a small station with only 4 pumps. Larger vehicles are hard to accommodate due to the small amount of real estate the pumps are afforded. Absolute rip off!!! be very cautious!! they sell counterfeit stuff! And also mark up some of their products to 200% to 300%!! absolutely ridiculous. I won't even buy a drink over there if they need new management or a new owner make sure you check the dates on everything. They're selling old stuff and fake stuff. Be very careful. So this Shell is the closest gas station to me so I use it. The CarWash is the absolute WORST in the country that I have ever experienced. Unfortunately, I have to drive a mile away to use a good one. The Premium gas I have to use is priced $1.17+ more than their advertised regular gas?! Too lazy to drive further for less expensive gas but the quality of this place is barely existent demonstrated by the crap quality carwash and lack of upkeep. read more

Go here all the time. Enjoy chatting with the owners(two twin brothers). Can be a little pricey on items inside, I live 20 minutes away now and will still go. Theres a different feeling when the clerks know you even when a month or two passes. Makes it feel almost like the old days, brings a feeling of community even in a small way. read more

We use this gas station all the time and notice that they advertise a cash price that is lower than if you use your credit card. Today I filled up my grandparents car which takes premium and the pump said 4.05 and when we got the receipt it said 4.30 per gallon. Dishonest road signs with not real up to date pricing for what they are actually charging you. read more

Low low low gas price for this area and they always post a bit higher than the actual price of the pump. It is a bit odd but I guess if you are a regular then it is just a "know how" that makes it kinda fun to stop by and know that you are getting cheaper prices than the posted price. The owners make sure to always keep the window cleaner containers full of semi-soapy water and nice window squeegies to clean your windshield and windows with. This is really helpful after a roadtrip. Try it sometime! read more

The shell station at 11655 Research Blvd, Austin, TX 78759 is currently price gouging during this emergency. Because of the snow and ice, almost everywhere is close. We decided to go here to get a few items. We should have paid around $30 tops for all of the things we bought, but instead paid about $55 dollars. After we made the transaction and we realized the amount, I told the owner I would like to return our items and he said he would only give store credit. They also never offered to give a receipt. Do not go here during the emergency! I reported them to the attorney general, so hopefully something comes of that. If you have had a similar experience please report. read more

The cashier was VERY rude! Would not recommend going to this gas station. We got gas and went to go to the restroom, and were told we were not allowed to unless we purchased something. We had a child who had to use the restroom as well. Way to Treat your customers! read more

I've been filling up at this Shell Gas Station over the years. Today around 10:30am I stopped by and really needed to use the Men's Room. The attendant working there refused to let me in and use the Restroom. I stated I will be purchasing but need to used the bathroom 1st since i badly needed to pee. He insisted it's for paying customers only but after stating a few time I will be purchasing Gas and Food he still ignored my request. This attendant was very rude and acted like I wasn't sincere and didn't care at all. Or is it by the fact that I was dressed up only in sweats and a hoodie that he didn't care to provide service and let me use the bathroom first. This station just lost another paying customer. 1 bad Apple can ruin the reputation of a business and that's all it will take. read more

This place is something else. Nothing is rang up as priced, be wary before you fork over any money. Something that is priced at .99 on the package is $2.99 there. Prices are never accurate, they just make them up and you never get a receipt. If you don't catch it before you swipe your card, you're not getting a refund. Literally a giant mess of a business. Also, be sure & count your change, they often round down and without a receipt after you walk away there is no recourse. read more

The gas pumps are janky as hell, the people that work there are rude as hell, and dude tells me starting June 2018 they're only going to accept CASH for gas. Smdh. Owner is a total asshole. The pump outside was working incorrectly and not accepting cards so I went inside and said with a smile "hi! I need to put gas on pump one. The machine isnt working". The owner basically yelled at me asking me if it was pump one or two and then rudely asked for the amount. Then proceeeded to talk in his cellphone laughing.
