This place is running a scam operation. Go pump 1 gallon of gas and you'll get literally nothing out of it. I'm convinced they're scamming on the first gallon hoping people don't notice. I had 5 miles left in the tank, put a gallon in to get me to a new gas station that isn't robbing you on $5 gallons, started my car back up and it was at 0 miles. This Shell gas station is next to Bellevue College and right by the on-ramp to I-90 heading to Seattle. This is one of those gas stations where pricing varies. If you don't drive by this station often, the big gas price sign is somewhat deceptive. The price in large numbers is the cash only price. If you are paying with a credit/debit card, add 10 cents per gallon onto the price. There is a Chevron up the road on Main Street that has the same type of deal. Honestly, I prefer stations with the same pricing for all. I am just not into the cash only process because it requires me to head into the store to pay. If they had a cash machine in which I could insert money into, I would be a bit more open to this. Just not worth it from a convenience standpoint. Anyhow, this gas station itself is fine. It definitely has the location going for it, but it is not one that I would go out of my way for. read more

First of all, I laughed out loud when I saw that the pricing listed for a gas station is $$$$. I have been to this Shell a dozen times throughout the years and recently checked in on Yelp since it was the first time I've been by since I became a Yelper 2 years ago. It's located next to I-90, Bellevue College and the Mormon Temple so a good location and easy to find. While I was pumping gas, an employee was clearing the trash cans and made small talk with me. Nice guy and good to see someone working out in the freaking cold with a positive attitude. Prices are reasonable on the snacks and drinks. The gas is a bit more than other areas in the metropolis but it's not overpriced. read more

It is ridiculous. They have the cheapest foam cups for coffee that it is super hot even when you add a sleeve. So I started using a double cup because it is very hot. The guy told me not to take a second cup and to use better a sleeve. I explained but he did not care. Never again!!!! read more

In the lead up to Snowmageddon, I stopped in this busy station. The machine didn't run my card, so the gentleman working there popped out and brought me inside to run it with the man at the cash register. Then, he went and pumped my gas for me! He was out there, helping everyone who needed it, and was so kind and friendly! It was helping everyone get through faster and stock up on gas, and was just a friendly, neighborly gesture. This place has lots of snacks! Pretty much anything you could ever want. It's also conveniently located real close to I-90 so if you need to fill up before hitting traffic, this is about as good a place as any. The two times I have been here were to grab a beverage and a few items to hold me over during rush hour. Prices are reasonable, the place is clean, and the cashiers have been friendly. read more

Went in to see about buying a water to get cash back since I needed $5 to get into a game at Bellevue College. Guy was not nice and didn't speak but pointed to a sign that said "no cash back". Didn't say "sorry but there is an ATM right over there you could use". Just rude in my opinion and I would never cone back to this station for anything. Expensive Gas. Rude Staff. 0 stars if I could. The younger guy at the check out has a big chip on his shoulder and takes it out on customers. I'd go elsewhere, even across the street to the ARCO. (That's saying a lot since I never fill up at ARCO stations He (the clerk)went out of his way being unprofessional to the guy in front of me trying to buy tobacco. He treated like the store being out of stock of the product was the customer's fault and it was an inconvenience to HIM! Craziest thing I've ever seen at any store. My WRX was close to empty, usually takes $40 to fill. Handed him $100 bill, which I understand can be a little inconvenient, but every place has or should have change especially a gas station to handle big bills. Not this place, the clerk immediately got rude about it and refused me. Didn't get a "Sorry, I don't have enough change at the moment..." Got treated like I was the a-hole trying to give him money for his business. I just hopped in my car, drove down to the other Shell, who took my cash happily and I filled my car up. Seriously man, you would've had to give me 3 twenties max. If you don't have that much cash, maybe you need to run to the bank for a change order or... Wow what a rip off! They have a GIANT sign next to the road advertising one price so i went to get gas. the price didn't show up when i went to pump, but didn't think anything of it. As i start pumping it shows that its 20 cents HIGHER than the advertised price... because i'm not paying in cash. are you f-ing kidding me? when you're charging me nearly $4/gallon i'm paying with a credit card. The shell station down the road was almost 10 cents cheaper, which naturally agrivated me considered they advertised the accurate (credit card) price. i would never go back to this station even if i ran out of gas outside there, i'd rather walk 5 miles in the rain to the next station then go back there. read more

This gas station is a rip off, it carries non working, and bad quality products. I went there to buy an iPhone charger, and it doesn't work at all, after 15 minutes i came to return it , and the cashier told me that he wont give me a refund when on the charger packages it clearly states that it will give a "lifetime warranty". read more

I know many people that have had problems with the fuel here. Reluctantly I stopped here and filled up my tank the other day. Now my car is in the shop and they are telling me I need new fuel injectors. Called the station to report it, they didn't seem to care. Other friends problems: Engine light would come on whenever they used their fuel. When they would get gas elsewhere light would turn off. Engine would have misfires on pistons when fueled there. Car would stutter and not accelerate when fueled here. Back to my regular of trying to avoid this place like the plague! read more

I like coming here because on Monday's the cost for v-power gas is the same as the plus. But after reading the other reviews here I might have to reconsider coming here. This location has horrible customer service not to mention questionable advertisement tactics. I used to frequent this station out of convenience since I work nearby. My first complaint is their bait and switch practice when it comes to gas prices. They advertise a lower gas price in much larger print for cash only customers. This annoyed me, however, a recent incident is what just lost them a customer. I filled up at the gas pump then came inside to purchase a snack hoping to receive cash back for the air pump outside. The clerk, who I see often, informed me there's no cash back and gestured to the ATM. Okay fine, no problem. I purchased my snacks and used the ATM after. I returned to the clerk and he would not give me change. Are you kidding me?! I just spent over $50 on gas, bought food, and paid an ATM fee and you can't give me change to SPEND AT YOUR STORE. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand he should not be obligated to give change to anyone asking for it but as a paying regular customer I would expect better customer service. I will never return and would give zero stars if that was an option. read more
