Lourdes is a Mexican restaurant with really good Chicken Soup. It's not usually crowded to get gas and they offer a small discount on the gas if you get your car washed. I like to get my car fully washed inside and out, grab Lourdes while I'm waiting to eat in their seating area (they have indoor and outdoor seating), then fill up my gas and get a little cash back on the gas. The cashiers have always been friendly.

He demanded that I either pay for them or put them back, so I returned them and told him to "be a better person." His response was: "I already am, you're Black." That comment was deeply hurtful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be spoken to that way. Was it necessary to bark at a POTENTIAL customer, because you chose to assume the worst, even at the sake of losing that customer? I WAS a repeat customer here, but there are way too many gas stations in Escondido to choose from for me to ever have to return to this location. I did have several items but I never get plastic bags and I didn't ask. She didn't ask if I wanted one and then was asking me to pay for the bags. Simple, I just took the items out of the bag. Plus, I was paying with EBT so I should not have been charged for the bags. I asked her what was wrong, not being rude or disrespectful, she said just get out. I asked her why she was upset when I didn't do anything to her and she said to never come back to the store. Like...WHAT?!! I did nothing. I just didn't want the plastic bags. My husband and I went in for snacks and sweet tea on our way home. I talked to the manager and he seemed to not care. He kept making excuses for her which is unacceptable. He said he would look at the camera to see what happened. While I was talking to him, she, Liz, was smiling and rolling her eyes, again, completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Why even hire people like her to push away first time customers? She barely said a word, and when she did she was extremely inappropriate.
