Just got my car washed here around 2:00 PM this afternoon with a so called luxury one that cost $7.00. It was my 1st, and could probably my last time to washing my car here. I noticed there was very little water & soap plus the brushes were barely touching the surface of the vehicle. This resulted my vehicle looked much dirtier than it was before the wash. I then had to spend over an hour to washing my car again at home which I should have done it from the beginning in order to saving 7 bucks. read more

When I returned to this station, I reminded the attendant of my car wash issue. He was the last attendant I spoke to. He went through his paperwork and found my hand written note; then credited me with another car wash apologizing for the inconvenience. OK, so that's a good thing. However, as good as it is I can only upgrade my rating to 3 stars since the original rating was so low. I have not used the voucher yet, but it doesn't matter what quality wash I get because the important thing is that the attendant resolved the issue. read more

The newest Arco location in Escondido and consistently offer the lowest gas prices in the area. Conveniently located across from Palomar College, this particular location is the only Arco with an automated car wash in the city, win. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it doesn't have a Chase Bank ATM inside like they usually do. read more

Went to buy gas today at the Arco on Midway and East Valley. Paid 11.45. Got back on the road and I'd not gotten ANY gas. Gas gage went down. I immediately went back. The guy at the register mistook me for an idiot. I asked him to print up a receipt and he showed me a zero $$ receipt. I asked him 2-3 times to come to my car and LOOK. No. I showed him the withdrawal in my bank account. He is a crook. I'll never go back there. Beware!!! read more

I went there yesterday 11/13/2019 at around 10pm , i had $47 in my pocket and bought cigarettes and told the cashier (her name is Judith) to put the rest in gas om pump #4. Gas was supposed to he $37 and some change. She ended up putting only $17 on my pump and when i went back in to confront her she lied and said i only gave her $27 when i specifically knew exactly how much was in my pocket. She would not put the rest of what was owed on my pump and instead said leave my contact info for the manager to get back at me. I live over an hour away just stopped there on my way out. Very very unprofessional employees who obviously dont know how to count. Ended up getting into it with the employees there and left. This gas station lost my business. This location tends to be the cheapest place to get gas while in the Escondido Area. It does tend to get crowded since it's cheap and most people take advantage of the cash price so it takes longer to pump. If I feel it's too crowded I head over to the other station that is located directly across the street in the 99cent store shopping mall. I don't remember the name of the place as it keeps changing its logos but they provide cheap gas as both cash and credit price. read more

This review is based on their car wash. I went to have my car cleaned thru their mechanical car wash system, only to have the equipment not only crack, but break my windshield. I went inside and notified the employee working about what happened, only to be told "this has never happened"! Well, after reading their yelp reviews, I see it has happened in the last few months, so yes, it does happen. I gave my info and was told the camera guy was out for a few days and would get back to me. A week later, I'm still waiting. I filed a claim with my insurance so they will have to deal with them at this point. Never will I use this place again, BEWARE!!! read more

The car wash machine stole my $10 bill and never let me wash my car. After complaining for a week to the store manager, I decided to call ARCO customer service instead. I finally received my reimbursement after a week. Worse customer service ever. I came here to get a car wash and did not have change for the vacum machine. I paid for a wash and took cash out. I asked Marika if I could get 5 back in quarters and she said ok. So her co-worker Maria said only 2. I asked how much was the machine for the vacum and she said 1.50 so basically I would only get enough for one vacum which is not sufficient. Marika asked her if she could give me 3 and Maria said no. So i asked if she was the manager and she said no. So I asked for one and there was not one working today. I if you ask me 1 more dollar to use at the machines they provide should not have been such a big deal. Never coming here again. I also took my business elsewhere. read more

I had the most unbelievable experience here on 6/11/2019 around 9:30-10:00pm. I went in to get gas and use the restroom and I was also going to get a car wash. I see an employee going to the restroom before I did and she I had a broom and some cleaning supplies what she just leaned up against the wall outside of the restroom I then began to wait for her I probably waited well over 6 or 7 minutes I could hear her talking in the bathroom I don't know what she was saying I don't know if she was fighting with somebody on the phone or laughing or what but I knocked on the door and asked if she was okay I didn't get a response and knocked again didn't get a response so I went to the counter and said to the other girl hey you might want to check on your co-worker who's been in the bathroom for an extraordinary long time you know I'm kind of concerned it's just she's not an employee I said yeah she is and then she's the bathrooms closed be closed about she's in there cleaning will first you said she wasn't an employee and now you're saying that she's in there cleaning with her cleaning supplies have been outside of the bathroom so she went in there and this girl was just being extremely rude to me and I was just puzzled her name is Laura and I said this is how you treat your customers and I get upset but I wanted I gave her a $50 bill for $20 worth of gas just don't throw your money at me I said what are you talkin about I just put my money on the counter no he threw it at me I said to you is your boss here she is I am the manager you got to be kidding me so she proceeds to give me my $30 in change she throws it out me it lands on the floor on the floor I pick it up I go outside I start pumping my gas it stops at $7 so I go back in the store and I said I would you turn your pump back on it just stopped at $7 just it's pumping right now well my car won't you have to hold the the gas thing in the car it won't just accept gas with the little locking device because of the way the thing is shaped I guess I don't know at any rate I walked back out to my car and I pull the trigger or whatever you call it on the on the gas hose and it began to pump again so I get my $20 for the gas and then I go to the carwash for the drive-thru and I'm not saying she was messing with it but I've gotten my car wash there before and it didn't seem to be as good as it's been in the past bottom line This Laura is toxic she should not be working with the public I was stunned and shocked that this happened steer clear of Laura read more

Went to pump gas and car wash at 815 AM was told car wash would be ready in 10 minutes. Told cashier wrong pump # went back inside to correct it started pumping gas when I noticed that I wasn't getting car wash discount. Went back inside told her about it said would correct it well now it wasn't pumping at all. Now a man gets involved and basically said it was my fault for telling her wrong pump #. I said that I understood that but just want to pump the rest in car wash discount price. He kept repeating it was my fault that I was hard headed didn't understand. I was so upset that I asked for a refund and managers name which he wouldn't give me the name after 45 minutes got refund for gas took another 10 to get car wash refund. Worst ARCO station I've ever been to. I really hate going to this station, but the low prices for a top tier gas are hard to pass up, so I'll give it 2 stars. The line to get gas is always total chaos. Nobody follows the traffic direction arrows, so cars are lined up to get gas going in both directions, which slows the process of getting gas and causes arguments as to who was in line first. Like I said... Total chaos. I learned to stay clear of this place during the day and go early morning or late night. If you want to pop in quickly to get gas and some snacks, don't go here. Go to the one around the corner on Grand near Rose. But, if you like to fight for a pump with the guy coming the wrong way, who's been waiting in a line 4 cars long... I have stopped here several times in the evening for gas. They never let customers use the restroom. Their excuse is "it's out of order", or "it's closed after a certain time". Lazy employees. It doesn't matter what time it is. A paying customer should be able to use the restroom. This is not finished! read more

This station is horrible. The gas prices are low but there is no semblance of order, I had to drive around 5 times just to get my car in a position to where I could pump gas. It's ridiculous the arrows on the ground point one way but none of the cars go that way. I gave up and went across the street, at least they didn't have cars driving into each other. read more
