Thank God the only gas station in the area Chevron understands the needing to "GO" urgency especially with children. The station is super warm and offers two restrooms. They don't even expect you to purchase anything. We were so happy to find this gas station with the "BIG" . The food we purchase was your typical gas station food, but it was hot and fresh. The cashier was super friendly and had an great smile. You can tell he meets lots of people. I was surprised with all the things the store carried. Pretty much everything you could need. Both are filthy -- not "needs a quick wipe" dirty, but visibly neglected. One of two sinks works, and the urinal area is just disgusting. To top it off, the door swings inward -- so while you're washing your hands, it opens right into you. It nearly slammed into my 3-year-old son. That's not just poor maintenance, that's a safety hazard. This place needs a serious deep clean and a basic facilities audit before it deserves another customer.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The other way that many in the area can tell what type of windy day it is, is by driving past this delightful travel plaza. While I'm biased, I think that old glory is the prettiest flag that has ever graced our shores, or any other. Shree's has the biggest, most impressive flag that I have ever seen! Whether you were driving over to Seattle and are just west of town, or are coming back from the west side and are at the crossroads of the state, you've definitely seen this flag. On a windy day, you get to see all the glory in all her proverbial glory! And while the colors don't run, you may just run here for an impressive selection of gas station pleasantries! they've got a good selection of all things pop, coffee, beef jerky, or whatever other snack you're looking for on your journey. The last time we stopped in here, we had quite the smattering of things brought back to the car. They included shredded beef jerky, some almonds, a number of different beverages, some string cheese, and a cup of tea for our matriarch! The gentleman running the place was very friendly, and as with most of these places, it was very efficient. The gas pumps outside are plentiful, have hoses that reach both sides of the car, regardless of which way you pull in, and last, but not least, the bathrooms are solid! They share a parking lot with an antique store that also sells many things you hadn't thought about in quite some time. All in all, this is a great Quick stop on your way east, or as you head west. Definitely faster than driving into town, and the gas prices are always better than most of the surrounding stops. Well worth your time, if nothing else to pay your respects to one of the largest flags you will ever see!

The diesel pump failed while I was fueling up causing my truck to get air in the lines and losing its prime. This ordeal caused me to be stranded for 2 days, my truck having to be towed to a dealership and me out my truck and trailer for weeks. One had the decor of a Chevron gas station but no Chevron sign and the other looked to be a Shell station converted to a Chevron station with a Chevron sign out front. I went to the one with a Chevron sign out front (this one). The cashier in the convenience store was friendly, the restrooms were clean, and the snacks were reasonably priced. Fueling was straightforward and the gas itself was a good deal. I paid a little under $12 for a little over 5.5 gallons of gas. It was easy to pull in to and out of the pumping stations and the parking along the convenience store was also easy to access. There was ample space for lines if fueling up at a busy time.

Easy in, easy out with smaller than most lanes for the cars at the pumps but enough room that it's not dangerous. As far as convenience stores goes, this one is pretty Janky. They've got all the cheese laden carbs and energy drinks that you're looking for, and the bathroom has a pretty constant leak from outside and it's rather cold. Not a place to linger! Not great, but not as either - kind of the gas station equivalent of the little bears porridge in little red riding hood. Good for what you need and not much else....like a gas station should be!

I've tried to go in a Waffle House, a dive bar, and in a patch of nettles. This one is the worst. It's filthy. I mean FILTHY. Dark, missing lightbulbs, no soap, no towels, single ply TP, garbage everywhere, water leaking all over the floor, and the hand dryer is so hot I just resorted to wiping my hands on my pants. I can't describe how hot it was - it WILL burn someone and they will sue. It's only a matter of time. 4. Then the selection of stuff in the store is awful. Don't eat anything made there. They have beer and other crap that stoned snowboarders want, but no actual supplies. I wanted a bottle of ibuprofen...but all they had was Aleve...25 caps for $9! Everything was ripoff expensive. One Good Thing: 1. They don't seem to care if there are 20 people waiting in line to use the bathroom for free...car loads of people come through and pile out and stand there and never buy anything (maybe gas, but who knows)...so there's that public service to credit for. Stay away from anything in this exit. Go to the next stop. Trust me (and others.)

Nice folks working inside and the gas seems to be a bit cheaper than many of the other places down the road. We like stopping here simply because it only takes a few seconds to get on and off the freeway - this last time the kids stayed asleep during the fill up, meaning we'll be back again!
