Locals have told me of pumps not actually pumping gas but still running and charging. They have also joked a lot about river water in the tanks. On motorcycle trips over the Pass I'd top off with a gallon or less and don't remember any issues. When I found eFree gas in Sultan I quit stopping here. There are some useful camp supplies if you forgot anything. The prices are ridiculously high on snacks. And, in all the years I pulled in for a gallon the restrooms could be smelled 20 feet away. Not the cleanest. But has a lot of options. Definitely the only place for food after hours near the Stephens ski area. Frozen pizza, some canned goods, protein shakes. Monster drinks & alcohol. It got the job done. Expect to pay more since I'm sure it's a long commute to bring anything in. read more

I am reporting this gas station. On Thursday July 7th, 2022. I am a woman of color (a black woman) . I was in town for a big photoshoot with REI and my friend and I stopped in to see if they carried fixodent or polygrip for my partial to help it stay in. We were kind and greeted him as we entered the store. My friend kindly asked the clerk if they carried either products he said no. We said thank you and proceeded to head out the door to not be late for the shoot. Immediately after we exited the store I was terribly racially profiled by the clerk he accused me of stealing Vaseline off the shelf ran out to our car to confront us yelling. The Vaseline was my already used Vaseline. He then proceeded to tell customers I stole. I've read several reviews left from over 8 years ago of the horrible mistreatment of this gas station and it appears to be the same clerk they should not be permitted to continue to get away with this behavior. read more

This place is a disaster. It's running rampant with rats from the river that get in the store and have eaten the food and you can find packaging where they've chewed through the package and I've seen rats running around in there at night when I've gone to get something. The bathrooms are vile You're better off peeing outside and if the power goes out up here the gas station has to close because the owners too cheap to get the generator up to code so we have no gas or food or anything. I hate writing bad reviews, but I think this needs to be shared. This is the worst gas station I've ever been in. It was so nasty and had hardly any items and the clerk is sooo insanely rude. It literally smells like a dirty porta potty in the store. Like someone smeared poop on the walls every 45 mins. It smelled so bad I was hiding gagging, because I didn't want to be rude. Then when I checked out I realized it wouldn't have been rude because the clerk would out-rude anyone in ways I could never dream of. He also wasn't in the store for a good 20 mins while I was trying to check out. I almost left cash on the counter and left because I couldn't handle the smell. There are flys everywhere. The products and food are expired and the packaging had holes in it (probably from rats). Like I would not eat the food here. It's so unsanitary it has to be hazardous. I can't believe this place is allowed to be open. It's sucks because there is no other store or gas station close by. You're a good 30 mins from Fmily Grocers (go there it's great) in gold bar and an 1 hour away from Leavenworth. Stock up on groceries before you get in this area or you're screwed to eat poison food. I hate to be so intense here, but seriously worry that this place is dangerously unhygienic. read more

I purchased some snacks, which totaled $4.89. I added that I wanted to pump $20 in gas. The cashier rang me up for $20.11 to make it an even $25.00. I reiterated that I only wanted $20.00 in gas, but he refused to void the transaction and ring it for only $24.89. My frustration lies in not the eleven cents, obviously, but in the fact that I clearly stated what I wanted to purchase -- $20.00 in gas -- and he forced my payment and purchase of more than I committed to. The man here was nothing but rude. We filled our van up with gas, bought items and asked for a key to the bathroom. I am 6 months pregnant and he was nothing but awful to us. Cussing at us and saying he wish he would lock the bathroom all together. When a friend said that was completely unacceptable to treat his customers in such a rude manner he told us to leave the store and never return. Don't worry. We won't. We didn't use the bathroom. Pass them by if you can! This place takes advantage of and rips off travelers. Gas is subpar and everything is marked up and not price-tagged. My daughter went in to get pads and there was no price tag and when she went to pay it was over $14 for an item that would be less than half that at any other station. Bought chains from this guy in December because we were afraid we might need them going over the pass -- first time driving in snow and wanted to be prepared. Cashier, who said he'd show us how to put the chains on our vehicle, didn't have our size, but found us the "sister" size for us. Even hooked it up to show us it was the right set. Fast forward to today, finally used them to get over the mountain. Didn't know we needed a rubber attachment to hold our chains in place -- and they weren't in the bag. First one snapped before we even got to the summit. Second one snapped right before we got to the removal area coming down the west side of the mountain. Screw you, guy working the counter, for noticing the bag DIDN'T have the rubber attachment but not saying anything to us. Don't sell chains and claim to offer travelers correct information if you don't know WTF you're talking about. read more

Civil Rights Violation! We will be contacting the BBB and WA State Attorney General regarding our treatment this past weekend by the gas station attendant. My friend who was born 100% deaf was never treated so horribly before in her life. She got some groceries and proceeded to go to the register to buy her items, and had never been so embarrassed in her life. She wears hearing aids and even with their help she is only able to hear about 15%. She was not able to hear everything the attendant was saying when he was telling her to re enter her pin number for her purchase. He completely lost it, started screaming and calling her every name in the book. Told her she was a retard and she needed to learn how to listen when someone is talking to her. She proceeded to tell him she was deaf and how dare he talk to her like that. He told her she wasn't deaf she has corrected hearing and that isn't an excuse to be an idiot. He said he was also hearing impaired so she didn't have an excuse and to leave her purchases and get out of the store. Refusing to serve someone who has a disability is a civil rights violation! This man needs to lose his job! I've been in the store before when he has just went totally insane on customers calling them all sorts of names. One woman ran out of there crying when he called her a c*nt because she didn't bring in enough money for her purchase. He told me that we can go ahead and complain all we want since the owner doesn't speak english! read more

Our driver side wiper blade blew out in a bad rain storm. We stopped in here and purchased one. It unfortunately didn't fit and we couldn't use it. But the not so helpful clerk refused to let us return the wiper blade. All he said was "all sales final" over and over. It's not like it was a perishable item and he would not be able to resell it. Very disappointing service. We ended up duck taping the old wiper blade on and we will never stop here again for gas or anything else. I suggest you do the same. read more
