I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up. I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold. Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! Is it possible the back scratcher doubles as a bottle opener? Turns out Yes! perfect! So I decided to drink while driving. Fever Tree Ginger Ale that is. Thank you Flying J Travel Center!!!!! Walmart gas prices were cheaper than most gas stations that I visited so far on my TX road trip. Their gas prices were pretty comparable to the Love's and Pilot gas stations though. This Walmart gas have 2 pumps per aisle which is average. It wasn't very big though... I think about 12 pumps. It also has a very small food mart. I am glad that I can pump Walmart gas without having the Sam's Club membership. Thank you Walmart!

We are currently out of Unleaded and Unleaded Plus." Watched people drive up to the pumps and then leave; apparently they couldn't read or understand the first two words on the signs: "Fuel Available." There weren't any lines, so there were certainly enough pumps for everyone who could read and understand the signs. Everyone was pumping Premium gas, which was at a great price at that time: $3.05. We can only imagine how much cheaper Unleaded and Unleaded Plus prices would have been had they been in supply. The fuel station was clean too.

We stopped here on the way home to fill ip on diesel and make a last restroom break. Fuel prices on 6.23.2025: Diesel = $3.33 Regular (87 Octane) = $3.00 Plus (88) = $3.80 Supreme (91) = $4.00 Very clean women's restroom! The clerks were friendly. Close to Interstate 10.

Go to a gas station to get coolant, and there's a problem...I drive a BMW and you have to use a particular kind, and they didn't have it. So I use my trusted YELP app, and this place pops up. I go there and I got the help I needed. The mans name was Mario that worked there and not only was he the nicest man, he actually taught me some things about my car. Chris assisted in getting me the right part and calling in a mechanic to help change it. The mechanic was backed up and could not assist us until late in the day. So, we went back in to ask Chris for a few tools and supplies to try and do it ourselves. Not only did Chris not mind helping in this task, but helped with the entire thing. He gave us his own time because he was already getting off of work. When he ran into the last little bit of a problem, and needed a tool neither he nor auto zone had, he called a good friend that is also a mechanic. And , paid for the friend to help us out of his own money. I was able to Venmo money to the mechanic myself. But i am so amazed at how thoughtful Chris was throughout this and him going above and beyond to help us out so we could get back to Houston. Chris, thank you so very much for Everything you did for us. Saying "Thank you" will never be enough!!!!

All of a sudden something snapped and his van…read morestopped working, he took it Fernandez Auto shop in the middle of nowhere and he actually helped him get parts and fixed him up , he and is staff worked till 11:30 pm to fix his van, who would do that???? No one that I know!!! But they did. Yes it took him some time and money but these guys did their very best to help him fix his van. So that being said I'd give them 10 Stars. If you want services and are willing to wait and pay for what they do it's worth your time and money!!!

The service team quickly figured out this was a timely repair. Trey, the manager of the dealership, spent most of the day working with Ford Customer care and my original dealership to get me, my family AND my camper back home in a safe and timely manner.
