I was turning south into a little populated area of Texas and didn't know what the supply of gasoline or prices would look like. so I pulled into a place ive visited in other areas before, The Flying J, to fill up. I also realized a few beverages id brought from home required a bottle opener. So while the truck filled, I went inside to get a couple of things and see if they had an opener. After looking and not finding I ask the counter clerk for assistance and she looked at the other clerk like...whats a bottle opener. She then turned to me and said if we have one it would be right down that way. Waving over towards the taquito and hot dog roller isle! AS i pursued the instant-relief headache packets and Tums, there it was! A tray is full of back scratchers. An aside. I've had an itch in the middle of my back i can't rtelescoping extension I thought..Sold. Then I noticed the center of the monster's hand was V-shaped. No, I thought! Is it possible the back scratcher doubles as a bottle opener? Turns out Yes! perfect! So I decided to drink while driving. Fever Tree Ginger Ale that is. Thank you Flying J Travel Center!!!!! Walmart gas prices were cheaper than most gas stations that I visited so far on my TX road trip. Their gas prices were pretty comparable to the Love's and Pilot gas stations though. This Walmart gas have 2 pumps per aisle which is average. It wasn't very big though... I think about 12 pumps. It also has a very small food mart. I am glad that I can pump Walmart gas without having the Sam's Club membership. Thank you Walmart!

We are currently out of Unleaded and Unleaded Plus." Watched people drive up to the pumps and then leave; apparently they couldn't read or understand the first two words on the signs: "Fuel Available." There weren't any lines, so there were certainly enough pumps for everyone who could read and understand the signs. Everyone was pumping Premium gas, which was at a great price at that time: $3.05. We can only imagine how much cheaper Unleaded and Unleaded Plus prices would have been had they been in supply. The fuel station was clean too.

We went to have a flat tire repaired at another location down the street (west). They tried to Screw us for all kinds of fees hundreds of dollars. Just a flat repair could have cost us thousands of dollars after the bad tire/repair shop was done with us. Franky fixed our vehicle for free in minutes. Franky found the problem that the other shop made when they mounted our wheel. They missed align the wheel when they mounted it. We gave the Bad shop the opportunity to fix the problem and do the right thing but they just wanted to take advantage of us. (We are traveling cross country in our new RV Motorhome). The poor workmanship From The Shop West of Bill Williams. Made our vehicles wheels feel like they were about to fall off the vehicle as we traveled at 50 to 60 miles an hour, after they Fixed our flat tire. When we returned to ask why our vehicle was in such poor condition. The bad guy shop told us we needed all this work all new tires and diagnosis fees of over $175 and more BS. THEY CREATED THE PROBLEM. After incorrectly mounting the wheel. Our vehicle only has 11,000 miles on it from the factory. After all that we are true believers, Bill Williams Tire is the BEST! They were able to get us in immediately; I sat and chatted with the workers while our tire was worked on and they were incredibly friendly and gave insight on the leg of the trip to El Paso. We had out of state plates on the rental and weren't local, but staff was still super friendly Tire was fixed in no time and it held pressure well for the remainder of our trip. Price was great and the whole thing was probably only about 20min for tire off, fixed, and back on and pressurized. If we ever have to make the trip again, we know to check here for our tire needs.

I called the auto store to get a quote on the price for the part; I was quoted $120. I called again another 15 minutes later to find out if it was new or rebuilt and they told me that it was no longer available that a corporate customer had purchased it. When I looked at my itemized bill, I was charged $145 for the same part.

Chris assisted in getting me the right part and calling in a mechanic to help change it. The mechanic was backed up and could not assist us until late in the day. So, we went back in to ask Chris for a few tools and supplies to try and do it ourselves. Not only did Chris not mind helping in this task, but helped with the entire thing. He gave us his own time because he was already getting off of work. When he ran into the last little bit of a problem, and needed a tool neither he nor auto zone had, he called a good friend that is also a mechanic. And , paid for the friend to help us out of his own money. I was able to Venmo money to the mechanic myself. But i am so amazed at how thoughtful Chris was throughout this and him going above and beyond to help us out so we could get back to Houston. I took my family camping to the Davis Mountains and a faulty part caused the rear end of the truck to completely fall apart. Ford roadside had me towed to Fort Stockton Ford for repair. The service team quickly figured out this was a timely repair. Trey, the manager of the dealership, spent most of the day working with Ford Customer care and my original dealership to get me, my family AND my camper back home in a safe and timely manner.
