Apparently, I wasn't the only one who needed to add air to my tires as I had to wait for two cars for my turn, and when I left there was another car using the pump. BP has a small store with a variety of items for purchase. Both the friendly, cheerful employees directed me to the tire pressure gauges. Thank God they had one on their shelves! It came with two tire valve caps which I ended up needing one when my frozen hands dropped my car's cap somewhere in the slushy inches of snow.

The pop tased off. Not sure if it was expired or what, but it didn't taste good. The Tylenol was fine. Then I told someone I was with where I stopped and they instantly told me to check my bank account. $64.99 For 24 cans of pop and 8 Tylenol pills. I was stunned. Reading the reviews, it doesn't seem like it would be worth my time to try and get a refund or anything. But I'm absolutely amazed this place is still in business. They're taking advantage of people that aren't used to an establishment charging whatever they want without disclosing the prices. Shame on me for not being more suspicious and asking for a total or even a receipt. But, steer clear of this business. Please.

When I was in Barrington over the weekend, my GasBuddy app told me that Meijer was that place. There's not much to say about a gas station, generally. However, I will say that this one was clean. It's with the Meijer store that's here, which is part of a larger collection of stores so there's at least one or two restaurants nearby. It's relatively large, with probably at least 8-10 pumps, and when I was here there were only one or two others so it wasn't busy. I appreciate that they have a dispenser with gloves to use on the pump, and I'd appreciate that even in non-pandemic times so I hope they keep it up.
