Running on fumes... As was already in the area the original plan was to fill up at nearby Costco though to my surprise the gas station was under construction and as I was low I decided to search for cheap gas and thought that this Shell station was it as it's right across from Kapolei Shopping Center. Very large and spacious and very easily accessible where I once was a regular at any Shell along with T-Mobile you'd get complimentary Gold Status and with sign up on your first fill up $.30 off gas that you're able to stack with other promotion. As I started my purchase there was question of if I wanted a car wash which was interesting as I didn't know they had one and it's right behind the Oil Changer along with entering your member number for additional discount is very handy and at $4.19 it's a pretty good deal to start. They also have trash and squeegee beside each pump a nice feature also that's not available at many stations. Great quality along with great deal to get me on my way with great perks. Stop by here when I drive a certain car. Yes, the gas cost more, but what ya gonna do when your car cries. Noticed there's a handmade sign after I filled up and was driving off that I believe said 10¢ off if pay with cash. I don't know about you, but I don't carry that much cash. Lol maybe it's 10¢ off your total bill. These days it could be plausible! Btw, this location has a car wash & a convenience store and a Jack in the Box. read more

Who here gets lazy to wash your own car? Ya I think we get guilty. For $10 they have a premium wash that also sprays under the vehicle. There is also the works wash for $5 more. The dryer lasts long here too. Car wash sensor here is kind of worn so do not enter code until the previous vehicle is fully out from the dryer. I had to drive around twice and got assistance from the cashier inside through the intercom. Cashier was nice enough to just give me a new code since the first one I received was saying it was invalid. Buy when you buy a car wash after filling up you get $1 off. The car wash in connected to Fast Lube to the right of the gas station. This is one of the few gas stations that have a restroom inside. That is mainly so bc it has a Jack in the Box inside. My final verdict is that the quality of the wash does not hold as much value as the Texaco's (the old Chevron) across the street. You get wax/sealant for the same price. Completely disappointed in this car wash. I spent $11 on this car wash, and it lasted 2 minutes if that. I'm going to assume the sensors in the wash bin are broken (as per other reviews). Put soap all over my car and then blow dried it and that was it. Pictures attached are of how my car looked when I pulled out of the wash. I'm going to speak to them today and hopefully they are willing to make it right, will update afterwards. This car wash needs some serious TLC, it's sad it's even still in business in the condition it's in. read more

Just reviewing the car wash. MUCH better than the Texaco one across the parking lot. First, you pay as you enter (cash only, machine doesn't give change). If you press the button to ask, "how do I get the machine to take my money?" You'll get the same pretty rude response I got (which included an eyeroll I could totally hear), so I'll just let you know: you have to wait until the car in front of you is into the drying area and then it'll prompt you. The process is very slow, but my car was actually very clean (not like at the Texaco where there are always areas left dirty.) definitely our new car wash. read more

Ever since I got my new car last year, I've always had to go to shells gas station to put gas since they have V-tech premium gas which is good for my sports car. Yes, I have to put premium gas even though it cost more it's a requirement for my car engine. Ughh. Anyways I usually go here at nights after my Starbucks session since I don't like it when it's busy and all that shabang. What's so inconvenient for me is that at times I go and put gas. My card seems to not work. I have to go into the store and pay towards the clerk and type my rewards number and all that good stuff. It kinda takes time cause some of the clerks are sometimes no where to be found or they are in the back and walking slowly to the register. It kinda pisses me off and it is so inconvenient. Anyways, the good thing about shells is of course the gas and the rewards club. It's free. Usually I get between 2 cents to 20 cents off every time I put gas. It may seem little but it helps though. That's all I have to say about this gas station. I mean at least it's 24 hours and it's better environment than the Waipahus shells gas stations! read more

I came to this car wash b/c the car wash I normally go to (Chevron) had a really long line. I normally wait 15-20mins for a wash but at Shell, there's never a line longer than 2-3 cars. They offer pretty much the same things, Basic to Premium Wash & cost the same as any other car wash (between $8-$11). I prefer this car wash over any others in Kapolei b/c it's fast & you never have to wait in a long line! read more

As I sat in the back of the car being washed in front of me I saw that the rear left scrubbers weren't working. I thought maybe it missed one round and the second round would catch.....nope! I really wanted to back out of the line and get my refund and go elsewhere but there was a line behind me so that wasn't a choice. I pulled forward, went through the wash and pulled on out! At my next stop I walked around my car and noticed the back wasn't washed just like the car before me and probly like the rest of cars to follow! The rest of my car was fairly acceptable but my rear left side was missed! Never going back ! They should fix it and put an out of order sign to prevent losing customers! read more

I like Shell gas but just like everthing else in Hawaii it was VERY expensive.

I guess now their car washes aren't overpriced as other car washes caught up with them. This car wash does have brushes to clean the wheels(+1 star). read more

I only come here for the car wash. If the car wash at Chevron is crowded, go here. It's usually empty. They got rid of the stupid rails that would move your car in neutral and scrape your rims. It's now the same drive through car wash like the Chevron across the street. read more

If you're having a bad day and want to get your car cleaned and just say you need to get it cleaned before you ship your vehicle don't come here. Don't even think about it. Stupid car wash sensor broke and then cashier persists on telling me that it's MY FAULT, when two other people around me just said the same thing when I went to go get a refund. Uh, no. Pretty sure I'm not at fault here. And if you need to vacuum your car don't ever use the second one! It'll break on you before it even touches your car!!! The convenience store is nice and clean. However, do not be fooled by the car wash despite the fact that they supposedly put in a new machine. It does not do a good job cleaning your vehicle and you end up with hard water stains on it. read more

I go to the shell every day to buy my cigarettes, although they're a little more expensive than Walmart it's worth it. The staff are extremely nice, they know me when I come in and everyone asks about my day. Also get cheap gas with my shell fuel rewards card.plenty of room to clean out the car and if I'm hungry I can stop into jack in the box. One stop shop. read more

The Car Wash at the Shell is one of the worst! It needs some major repairs. Some of the hoses that produce the produce aren't working. 2 cycles (water and wax) on the premium wash ain't working. The rear brushes don't get the back of your car. Look up at the main machine above your car, it is being held together with zip ties. The air blower is worthless as well. Customer beware!! Came in for an oil change, I didn't have to wait long at all and everyone working there was very pleasant. Price was reasonable (for Hawaii), and they washed the windows and vacuumed out the interior which is pretty standard during an oil change but nice all the same. They're super close to my house so I'll most likely be back in a few months. read more

The car wash here is horrible. No where does it tell you they only take cash and the machine at the wash is junk. Then you get in the wash and it doesn't even work. Just tells you to keep pulling forward. Got so pissed I just left. Should have just waited another hour and used the one at the Chevron station next door. At least that one works. read more
