Family member likes this gas station. 615 pm, Saturday, March 7, 2026, FYI, they charge $1.00 to use their air and water machine. The lady attendant was nice. She ran my $5.00 bill through the counterfeit machine! WTH! She said every bill. I had to break the bill, I had no quarters for the machine. TIP: take off all the air valve caps before starting the air machine as the machine is on a timer. read more

I can't believe what I experienced at this Shell station. After fueling my car, I went to fill my tires and the woman named Affelia demanded $1 to turn on the air pump. I reminded her that California law requires free air and water for paying customers and even showed her the posted sign. She then said the pump was "broken" and told me, "If you have a problem, call the number -- I don't care if you call or not!" Such rude and dishonest behavior is unacceptable. The Staff is terrible and have poor customer service. The Card reader is always down even sometimes days in a row.

So they have a new carwash system and although very nice and clean, the wash isnt as good as before and the prices have jumped quite a bit. It left some black inky marks on the drivers side of my car and any water spots turn super white on your windows/car. So you must wipe it dry!! The black marks removed when I immediately wiped it off. The car was wet as heck which was expected but I brought soft rags to dry my car. Note: There isnt really a place to wipe your car unless you exit and enter the plaza lot. Just for reference: Ive been getting gas and carwash patron since 2011. It used to be $8 for the most expensive wash and I really believed in the rain coat wash. Haha In 2015 I decided to frequent here less bc the paint on the roof of my compact sedan was fading off. Somewhere between 2017-2018 price went up a buck. They still give you 1 wet wipe to wipe inside your car dash so that's nice. read more

This the slowest self-serve gas station car wash that I've ever encountered in 38 years of driving. It basically has 3 choices of wash, all of which involve some extra machine and substance applications. It took at least 8 minutes for the car 4 cars ahead of me. When I asked the cashier if there was a problem with the wash, she said no, a car was in there. The 3rd car ahead of me took another 7 minutes, the 2nd car ahead of me took another 7!minutes and the car directly ahead of me took another 5 minutes. So, the receipt printed at 3:55 pm and when I finally had me car wash finished it was now 4:26 pm, a total process taking 31 minutes. The full service hand wash near me takes 10-15 minutes total, and maybe 20 minutes if they are super busy. I am giving it 2 stars because the car is reasonably clean... The total time is unacceptable, and needs to be looked at. read more

Great car wash that will leave you feeling like a rockstar in your super shiny ride. Gas prices are AOK and you get ten cents off every gallon if you select the car wash ($6 for basic, $7 for medium, and $8 for high standard car wash). That saves you about a buck or so. This is the closest gas station to home. I have been spending close to $200/month at this gas station for the last few years. Pros: Not crowded at all. Super close to home. No line for Air, Water, and Vacuum. Cons: Expensive than the other Gas stations in the area. (-1) Car wash does not dry all the water/fluids off. A couple of helpful clues at this shell station: 1.) pay in cash. The cash rate is cheaper than the credit card rate. Unfortunately I got upset because the sign said one price and then when I went to put the gas in my tank, it said that it was 8-10 cents higher than what it said on the sign. I went to the window and the guy said oh yes it is because that is the cash price. WTH. So I cancelled my payment and paid in cash. 2.) if you purchase a car wash, than the gas is cheaper also. So if you want a car wash then purchase it first and then get gas cheaper. Cool... unless you are in a hurry because everyone wants the cheaper gas and so they purchase the car wash and the line for the car wash is long in the evenings. Definitely a one star station. I'm at the pump using or trying to use my Google pay because the pump says they take Google pay but after about 5 minutes I give up and ask the people in the box what's up with it not working and they said that it doesn't work at the pump you have to come up to the box and you have to provide ID. This was extremely infuriating because the reason I was using my Google pay was I had forgotten my wallet at home and I was just about out of gas. I have never had to use my ID to use my Google pay anywhere. When I told the attendant they should post on the pump that Google pay is not enabled at the pump She just said blah blah blah blah. Then I said well please let your manager know that they should let the customer know and the attendant could care less about customer service. Luckily I had some cashI was able to get gas so I could get home but I only filled up for 2 gallons cuz I wasn't about to give this crappy station any of my hard-earned money after that horrible customer service. read more

On the corner of Rosecrans and Beach Blvd. Dropped by here cause our family needed to fill up the vehicle. Their gasoline prices are a bit higher than the competition, and they charge higher if you use your credit card rather than cash. They do not have a convenience store at this locale. Just a tiny shop with limited inventory. Did not see anything I wanted here. I noticed that there is also a car wash at this location. I would not go here to fill up my vehicle. I came here to gas up my car and get a car wash. When the wash was finished the entire car was sopping wet. I went the booth and the cashier said that I didn't pay for a car wash so she could do nothing. ??? Then I see an Asian male standing by the door and I asked him if this was his carwash...he said yes. I said my car is completely wet still. The owner said well that's as good as it gets for a cheap car wash. So I asked him why would he do that to customers and treat them like crap and be condescending. The cleanest gas station I've ever been to! This station is easily accessible and always priced fairly. Also, the customer service is great and they're very friendly. Finally, the biggest perk about this station is the car wash. It always gets my car sparkling clean between hand wash sessions. Highly recommended! read more

The lady that works there has horrible customer service. I put gas in my car and I had to put air in my tires so I politely asked her if she can turn on the air. She's like "you can put quarters inside.......... or I can just turn it on for you" I was like thank you. I'm not trying to sound cheap but if the air machine accepted debit I would be more than happy to pay if I was that much in a rush.. well anyways I was standing outside for about 3 minutes in the heat waiting for the machine to turn on, so I go back inside and she gives me a blank stare. My family has been going to this gas station for years. We typically buy gas and get a carwash. We will not being going there anymore. Today I went to gas and my usual carwash. When I went through the carwash I noticed that it wasn't working properly, so afterwards I went and talked to the clerk and told her that it wasn't dispensing soap correctly. I asked for another carwash I could use later or a refund. She told me that she couldn't do anything and that the owner wasn't there. Well after speaking with her for a few minutes and getting no where, I decided to video on my phone the cars going through the carwash so I could show the owner what I meant later on. They have a screen near the clerk's area so you can see the carwash at work. Well then the owner did show up and refused to give me another car wash or refund my money. He very rudely said that I had already gotten the discount on gas so there was nothing he could do. I replied "Well, I payed for a service that I didn't receive, so I would like my money back." He said, well that's just not right, offered me a dollar and then said that if I wanted all my money back he would meet me in small claims court. (Um...What?!) THEN he took a picture of my car and said, "I don't ever want to see you again." I can't believe it! Well don't worry, I won't be going back.
