Today reminded me I had never written a review. We came in for flu shots and other vaccines, and the pharmacist Nick was already prepared. He had checked our insurance coverage before we even arrived. Wow, he is sooo skillful! (I am in the medical profession myself, so I know.) His professionalism, cheerful attitude even after working the overnight shift, and the fact that he was so quick and precise--I barely felt a thing--were simply top notch. We walked in the store, it was busy, people browsing in the aisles and waiting to get their medications. I wasn't intending on getting a vaccine but my co-parent was there to get hers. While processing the first shot, the pharmacist asked if I wanted to join in the fun, haha. I said might as well if I was considering that it'll probably be done. This shot did pinch when it was injected and I knew it was going to give me a sore arm. Confirmed, my arm/shoulder was sore at the injection site later in the evening and also the following morning.

Be careful about relying on this location as a 24-hour store. At first they were just, recently,…read moreclosing from 1:30-2 a.m. due to being short staffed during staff breaks. But now they will just straight-up close at a certain point for the rest of the night and not reopen till 5:30 or 6 a.m. Sometimes there is a sign on the door saying the pharmacy drive-thru is still open. But this new thing of unpredictably closing when they feel like it is problematic for the surrounding community. We have so few late-night options besides 7-Eleven. And the overnight closure also means customers are no longer able to pick up BOPIS orders. No more getting items delivered via UberEats, Instacart & other couriers, either. We need a reliably 24-hour store in this community. Unfortunately, Walgreens at Brookhurst and Orangethorpe no longer seems to be it. I hope it's temporary.

I was going in to get a Phantasmal Flames ETB. I would normally get them for 55-65 from my other card shop but were sold out. The staff was trying to charge me over 120-140 for 1!!!! That is ridiculous and I see why they have so much in stock. Because no one wants to pay high amounts like that! If you feel like getting ripped off and taken advantage of for your money then go right ahead! But I will definitely never come back here or refer this shop to any of my friends or colleagues.
