All whilst simultaneously allowing bikers to park and chat at a perfectly usable pump 2 lanes over. With 2 cars behind them waiting as well. Two pumps were bagged and useless and we were all trapped whilst Loves employees laughed. Not to mention it's just filthy. You must have a good constitution to stomach that garbage.

We needed gas for the cars, so we rolled the dice with this Shell station and came out in love like an Elvis Vegas wedding. I don't really recall much else about this place other than we got gas that didn't kill the cars and the bathroom was a little slice of heaven in this otherwise overlooked connection between Montgomery and Meridian. If you need to use the loo, there is no finer public toilet anywhere else near on US 80.

I found 3-B's on yelp, called, and they had the tire we needed. When we got there, we decided to go ahead and buy more new tires. The men put the new tires on in pouring down rain. What an awesome crew!!! We were so happy with their service and highly recommend their shop!!!

Here's what happened. My water pump seized up completely, thus destroying the serpentine belt of my car. Luckily, I saw exit 31 on I-20 and pulled into the Marathon gas station. This was on a Sunday. Thinking that everything was closed in Boligee, I asked someone if they knew of a place that could fix my car on such short notice. Luckily, 3-Bs was directly behind the Marathon gas station. I pulled my stricken car into 3-Bs, to which they mentioned that they could fix my car, yet needed a new water pump + serpentine belt. I recognized that this facility was more of a wrecker service with tons of tires everywhere, yet versatile enough to complete car repairs. The car parts could only be picked up in Demopolis, which was 24 miles away. I traveled with one of the mechanics to an Advanced Auto Parts store, to which I was able to purchase the necessary parts at reasonable prices. Returning back to Boligee, the mechanics were able to get started. During the time that the mechanics were working on the car, there were several customers that stopped by, thus delaying the process. The person in charge (Wallace) was able to delegate responsibilities to the other two guys in getting work done. The repair process took almost three hours, yet I kept in mind that the trip to Demopolis took an hour to get the parts. Yet what impressed me the most was of the thoroughness, as well as that "something extra" when it came to test-driving my car to ensure that there weren't any leaks. Previous garages that I've been to didn't even do that, and this action alone made a positive impression on me. Altogether, 3-Bs is open pretty much everyday, according to Wallace. Reasonable prices, good service, I was quite pleased. But more importantly, these guys were able to allow for me to get home safely. Thank you once again, 3-Bs!

If there was a way to rate these folks a zero, I would. I think there is something suspicious…read moregoing on with Po Boyz of Demopolis. First, this is not an actual Pep Boys (pay attention to the spelling) and you can't report them to the corporate office. I think these folks take advantage of the elderly people. I think they did this with my Parents. When I attempted to discuss the transaction with the manager/owner, he was very rude and actually hung up on me instead of discussing the situation. He got VERY defensive from the initial start. I informed him that I thought it was very suspect that the alternator in my Parents' car went bad immediately after they drove off from getting tires replaced at this location. When they returned, the technician immediately informed them that it was the alternator. The owner/manager stated that he gave my Parents the option to get it repaired elsewhere, knowing that there are limited locations that can fix the alternator or will even allow them to drive to a different location. When Po Boyz so called fixed the alternator, they did not provide a detailed receipt of the cost of the part, labor, etc. They just gave my parents a set amount. NEVER have I personally received service that the receipt is not detailed out. That's not way to run a legitimate business. Why did the alternator suddenly become a problem after getting tires replaced? I have heard from others, that shady activity goes on at this location. And while I prefer to not go into details because I do not have firsthand proof, you may want to STAY AWAY from this location. The previous reviews alone on Google should be a WARNING. And while the owner may get ALOT of business, I will do my best to warn others to stay away as something is not right. More complaints to follow on the BBB.
