My second car had been in a collision 8 months ago in a parking lot which resulted in damage to the front headlight area. Although the headlight worked, they failed inspection because of the light cover or something. Fine. My issue is when I went to leave, the car was making a loud, constant beeping noise and the bumper area was highlighted red on the dash censor. This was not occurring before the inspection. When I went back over to the inspector to ask about it, he said it was doing it when he drove it in and it would stop. It wasn't and what he was referring to was the alert, saying the key was not in the vehicle. Rather than take a look at what I was referring to, he passed the issue off to the mechanic to fix the issue for me to which the mechanic responded he can't and pointed inside the store. I was told I needed to speak with the store manager because he would not allow them to touch my car. When I went to speak with the manager, I believe his name is Khan, he told me to fill out a form to get a diagnostic. When I asked if there was a charge for this, he said there was. I explained the situation and he initially refused to look at the vehicle saying he can't do anything about it without a diagnostic. Once he finally came out to see what I was referring to after I insisted, he still refused to attempt to silence the beeping blaming it on the body damage, stating the inspector only looked under the hood and didn't touch anything. When he called the inspector over, the inspector admitted it was not making that sound when he took it in, they looked under the hood again and slammed it shut saying there's nothing we can do- it has to be fixed. Well lo and behold, once the hood was closed correctly the beeping and lights stopped. The fact that the manager was unwilling to even attempt to look and figure out why this issue was suddenly occurring when it wasn't before, without demanding a diagnostic fee, was terrible business and I do not recommend anyone coming here.
