Highly Recommend! This is the best way to begin this review. I ran an inquiry to compare car detailing services and received a few responses back from potential businesses. All were prompt with their responses and evenly priced but one stood out more than the other so, I decided to select Rick's Complete Auto Detail. We scheduled our appointment for the next day around 2pm. He (Rick) contacted me around 12:15 to let me know that his first appointment finished earlier than expected and wanted to know if he could begin earlier than originally scheduled and of course I said, "Yes" He arrived around 1:30pm, introduced himself and shared a little small talk and soon after, he began the detailing on my wife's 2010 Honda CR-V. I knew that based on the small talk and initial introductions, that I chose well. He was very personable, but remained focused on the task at hand. Cosmetically, our CR-V had stained seats, dog hair (we have 2 GSD's) and has been well acquainted with dirt and dust. So in short, it was LONG overdue for a good detailing. On his initial Yelp response he stated that his work spoke for itself; he used quality products and always executed quality work. So I figured, I'd take a chance to see if his work would back up these bold statements. Well in short, YES it did! He worked diligently and if I may add, remained flawless in the manner in which he moved about, from section to section of our vehicle. Since it was pretty hot/muggy out, I would occasionally come outside, provide him some ice water/gatorade and engage in small conversation. One of many things that I noticed, was that he never picked up his cell phone. He just remained focused on his work. Well, he finished and let me tell you... He just stood there smiling. Smiling because he just knew we were going to love the completed project and he was RIGHT! I could go on and on about his professionalism, the manner in which he remains hyper-focused on each section of the vehicle until it was completed to his satisfaction as well as the delight he has in his work but, I will just say again, I chose well. Not sure if the attached pictures can truly display the magnificence of his completed work. Responded right away and gathered info. He was on time and such a smiling detailed genuinely nice man. A family member took our pet bull out and she went right up to Mr. Rick barking and sniffing, but didn't do anything because he has a good spirit. Mr. Rick didn't panic nor get angry. I apologized profusely but next time I will let everyone in the household know that he is coming. I addressed one area inside the car when my OCD showed up. Really sad overall experience. Although my car is cleaner than it was when I brought it in, the work I received does not amount to what I paid. In the description it says meticulous attention to cup holders which as you can see did not happen for me. It doesn't feel like my car was "detailed", just cleaned. I'll be honest: Rick's isn't the cheapest cleaning you'll find and it's not a fast process, but man oh man, my 7 year old car looks NEW. We needed a deep clean to ship our car overseas and we were concerned because the car had to be pristine and we knew the vehicle processing place is super nitpicky; they'll literally refuse to accept cars that aren't perfect. Again, the car is the cleanest I've seen it since coming off the lot. Dog fur: gone. Upholstery: all discoloration removed. Engine: you could eat off of it. It even SMELLED new. Our only regret is that we only had a day to drive it before dropping it off at the shipper! My fellow military people: the VPC people asked my husband if he'd just driven the car off the lot. When he said he had it cleaned by Rick's, they asked for the contact information so they could refer people to Rick's if they showed up with a not-clean-enough car! As soon as I finish writing this review, I'm contacting them again to clean our second car. Rick detailed my 2000 Toyota Camry a 24 year old car. He did a phenomenal job. I recently bought the car and the carpets were filthy and stained with mold, mildew, spilled coffee, food. Rick was able to get out all the stains and make the carpets look new again. He also did a great job on the exterior, especially detailing and scrubbing the factory rims removing baked on brake dust and grime that I was unable to remove even when using brake dust dissolving agents. Wow! What a wonderful job Rick did on my interior detail service! He arrived within the agreed upon timeframe and went right to work. I hadn't had a detail done in two years at a franchise car wash that had multiple staff work on it. They always miss certain areas and it doesn't look completely cleaned but Rick was extremely meticulous and thorough, and covered everything. I highly recommend this convenient mobile service.
