Favorite gas station. Amazing employees! We really come here to see the employees and because it's so close and convenient. Love this Shell.

I drove by here on a trip up north last winter and saw the sign in the window "Skippers fish and chips". It was early in the day, but I kept it in mind. Today I drove up there again, and was told "we only do Skippers Monday thru Friday, and only from 5 AM to 12:30 PM". Really? What kind of hours are those for a place serving fish and chips? Generally, I have expectations that gas station restrooms are cesspools of yuck that I try to avoid whenever possible. On a recent trip, we had to gas up the car and randomly chose this station. A family member used the restroom and vouched that the facilities were pretty clean. I have to admit that I was skeptical, as a lifetime of childhood road trips and rest area visits have scarred my view of public restrooms. But rather than make another stop, I ventured inside and was surprised that the bathroom stalls were indeed quite clean. We're not talking about 4 diamond hotel ratings here, but it felt like 5 stars by gas station standards. Serious brownie points for having a bathroom mat around the toilet to make things much cleaner and less unsightly. For the germaphobes (like me), this was a very doable experience. I came to this Shell station not to fill up on gas but to get some food. You see, when you're on a bus ride down I-5 and your destination is 82 exits away, it's probably a good idea to stop by the nearest gas station and grab some breakfast before you make the long hour-and-a-half commute. The Marysville Shell fulfilled its purpose; it gave me everything I needed for this drive. It's too bad my order at the deli took too long. For a gas station food mart, this is fairly large. Even the bathrooms are spacious. That's what you come to gas stations to do, to use the bathroom, right? Those are always nice before long car trips, and they must have taken that into consideration while stocking maps of British Columbia. Just in case you don't have a GPS or it's not working, of course. They have their own deli, which is kind of cool. I placed an order for a chicken Caesar wrap for $4.99; the guy working there with the thick East Coast accent actually wrote that price on a square piece of paper with a marker for me to take up to the register. I also grabbed a cooked beef & bean burrito for $1.99 while I waited, and it was a very long wait. The wrap took a while apparently because they had to cook the meat, which is somewhat understandable. However, that got me yelled at by the other people on the bus who had to wait for me. I just hope these guys can be faster next time. read more

Went here this evening and while waiting to pay and leave I overheard and exchange between the young man working the counter (Matt) and another customer. To my shock as the customer was leaving your worker found in necessary to call the customer a F***ot!! Being in the PNW you would think we would be more tolerant of people and their lifestyles. I'm still in shock that this worker would yell something so awful! He's lucky the man he was spewing his hate speech to didn't engage him physically, becuase from the looks of it that customer would have smashed you're employees face into a jelly. Needless to say I won't be returning as I can take my business someplace else that employs decent humans. read more

What really bothers me about this shell is the way they charge on their gas. Always higher and when prices drop they take forever to follow the trend. They also raise their prices the quickest. I avoid this place as much as possible. read more

I visited just to vacuum out my car, it's been a while and it was needed. $1.50 for a typical do it yourself vacuum isn't that bad. Ran for about four or five minutes, had to estimate because there wasn't a timer on the vacuum. Had some pretty mediocre suction, but better than the handheld vacuum I've been trying to use for a while. There's four vacuums on two separate stations. Not sure which one's the best, but if anyone finds out let me know. My car isn't spotless now, but it's definitely presentable. I can see myself going there again in the future read more

I had a line of dust down the middle still but at least most of the road dirt was taken off. I still had to wipe off my car before putting on new rainX. I don't plan on going back. read more

I went to this Shell Station on 116th in Marysville to make a purchase. I spent $62.00, bought some lottery tickets, cigarettes and a beef stick for my dogs. The Clerk was not very friendly ( brown shaggy hair with a hoop ring in his nose. I walked out and got in my car, gave my dogs the beef stick and immediately was approached by the Clerk at my driver's window saying..ma'am there is no loitering here! I said what? I just got in my car! Then he apologizes and walks back in the store! I was very offended by that! I won't be going back! read more

The car wash is a joke. It is automatic and would not register that my car was there. There was a line piling up behind me so I ended up getting frustrated and driving through without it even getting washed. read more

I commonly go here for a car washes on the way home. They advertise their Deluxe car wash for $9.00 at the entrance yeah once you get in line to pay they charge you $10.00. I went in to get my dollar back and the person at the front counter said sorry, we've been getting a lot of complaints about this, and I can't give you your dollar back otherwise I'll get fired. I asked for the managers number he was unwilling to give it to me. He told me I should Google it or come by Monday morning. read more

This review is actually for the deli inside...go inside and get some affordable food. Good selection of sammiches, tacos, and breakfast. Nothing to write home about but gives you plenty of options. I enjoyed a beef and a chicken taco...plain but filling enough for three bucks! The giy behind the counter isn't very personable though or I wouldve given three stars. Paul who works Monday nights has the worst customer services I have ever witnessed. I will never go to this Shell station again even if it's the last gas station on Earth and my car is out of gas. Not only did he lie about not having change to break my 20.00, after I bought a cheap lighter he continued to be an asshole for no reason. Paul should find another job, he doesn't understand how to treat others how he would want to be treated. Or if that doesn't work for Paul, treat others how you would want your Grannie to be treated. Convenient location. It's gas prices always seem to be higher. They have a fee for debit purchase under $5 and I've learned that I have to let them know when it's credit because some of the cashiers automatically add the fee when they see me pull a card out without even asking. Can I give negative stars? Went here to get my car washed-been through before, and had no problems. This time, the machine seemed a little off. I drove in (it's the kind with the traffic light inside) drove until the light was red, the red light goes off, the 'wait' light didn't light up, so I let off the brake, rolled forward, and then it buzzed again, so I stopped. Waited, and then the wash started, except it only kept bumping the rear of my car. Rainbow foam was sprayed on the windshield, wax was sprayed on the driver and passenger side windows. Then it was rinsed off and the 'Exit' light lit up. Drove through the 'air dry' and then parked and looked at the 'wash'. It only washed the trunk of my car. Went inside to ask about the car wash, when the 'manager' came out-who never introduced or identified herself, she asked what was wrong, I started to explain what was going on, she interrupted, copped an attitude and accused me of trying to rip her off and not knowing how to use the car wash. She went on and on about how she was sick and tired of people complaining about the car wash and she wasn't going to put up with it anymore. I stood my ground, explained to her what happened and she said "You don't know how to use the car wash and pulled in too far, I'll have to look at the security tape to see what really happened." I said 'great!" Then she said, "I don't have time to do that right now, I have better things to do." She had me fill out a form and said, "I'll call you tomorrow." She had one of her employees call and tell me they weren't going to give me a discount or refund. Funny thing, I had never asked for a refund. All I wanted was a clean car. This was the second time I used their car wash, my issues are: If I had 'pulled the car in too far'-then foam wouldn't have been sprayed on my windshield, nor would wax be sprayed on my side windows, those would have been sprayed aimlessly in the air. If I had 'pulled the car in too far'-then why didn't the 'Back-Up' signal light up? If she is 'always having people come in and complain about the car wash'-then OBVIOUSLY there is something wrong with the car wash. I highly doubt she even looked at the tape-she couldn't even call me herself to say I wasn't getting a refund, she had one of her employees do the dirty work for her. That place doesn't even deserve to be acknowledged as a place to stop at 'just to pee'. read more

i would give this shell a -20 star they are awful!!!!! i am 22 and worked there, became pregnant, and have alot of health issues. Steven screamed and yelled, swore at myself and other employees. Worst place I have ever worked. Now 3 weeks later, they still wont give me my paycheck, and say they want to charge me $35.00 to get my check!!!!! Worst place, rudest people ever!! Please do NOT go to this place. And never eat the deli food. read more

Last Monday 12/29/14 I was traveling from Vancouver Island B.C. to North Idaho. Stopped to fuel up at your station, 57424177400 Transaction #659080169 at 12:56:04 PM. It was a nice sloppy day, while I went to 3 or 4 different window wash buckets to get the window washer squeegee clean and add more water to it I watched as one of the store clerks sat in front of the store smoking, not a good impression of how the rest of the place is operated. read more
