In short There's only so much difference from station to station. This one has a convenient location and plenty of room to maneuver around the pumps. Prices fluctuate wildly though. In long I've only ever stopped here for gas, which is what I can say about 99% of my experiences, ever, with gas stations. I essentially never go inside unless I'm on a road trip, and this place is local to me. A few months ago, they consistently matched the lowest prices in town, and I started making that mental note to swing in here when I was empty. Lately, the Strait of Hormuz is closed through no fault of mine or Shell's, and gas prices are skyrocketing. I didn't check the sign, and paid $0.20 more per gallon than the next-highest place around here. I'm pretty annoyed with myself for this, especially since I saw it $0.50 cheaper a couple hours later when I was picking up groceries. My bad. Gotta burn more awareness into my brain. read more

Stooped here for gas and the air check. Air check is around $2.50 and sufficient time to check all 4 tires. Very convenient. Went to the convenience store to grab some snacks and beverages. Very friendly staffs. No issue whatsoever! Clean and well maintained inside the store. read more

Don't get gas there!!! When I chipped my card and lifted the nozzle it spilled gas all over me and on the ground! I put the nozzle in and tried to start pumping but it didn't work. I went inside the store, where the associate who barely speaks English said: "I'm the only one here and can't leave the store, you go, lift and put it tightly in there". I told him that there is a big spill, that as I understand should be wiped and washed. He didn't care at all. I went back and tried like he said, but nothing worked. The sink that is between the pumps doesn't work, so I had to run inside the store to wash my hands. Terrible customer service, they don't care about the safety at all! I guess I'm not the first one who was spilled with gas. Don't even put one star. read more

Scary Day Today at Mukilteo Shell Station - PUMP WOULD NOT TURN OFF! Crazy that Jessie Jones covered something like this not too long ago. For your own safety do not frequent this Shell has station. Besides my Scary experience there today, read the unsettling Yelp reviews. After my first errand stop today in Mukilteo I had to stop for gas, the closest station was a Shell. I drove up to gas PUMP #5 and proceeded to start pumping gas. I really didn't want to buy much gas there since it was 40 cents more per gallon then Marysville prices, so I decided to just pump $9.00. When the gas pump got to $9.00 I tried shutting it off. IT WOULDNT STOP! As I kept trying to shut it off, the nozzle popped out of my gas tank and was SPEWING GAS ALL OVER ME AND THE GROUND! I was panicking and dropped the nozzle to the ground, where it finally shut off! The gas soaked my wool coat sleeves, my scarf, t-shirt and front of jeans. I immediately walked into the store to tell the cashier what had just happened. Well he didn't speak English and kept pointing to another employee that was right out in front of the entrance to the store, the employee was talking to a distributor. I pretty much butted in to their conversation to tell him what had just happened. He proceeded to walk with me to pump #5, picked up the nozzle from the ground, placed it back into the pump and told me that he would have it looked at. I just stared at him increduously. Seriously? ( I was thinking). Then I looked down at the front of my coat and spread my arms out showing him I was saturated in certain areas. And he replied, "You pump gas at your own risk". And then he walked away returning to the store. I was in shock. I have never been treated with such a blatant disregard to my safety and other customers' safety (my son was in the car) as a result of a stores property malfunction that I have to use to buy a product. Shell - Malfunctioning Pump #5 - Gas Stations Near Me - Mukilteo, Washington

Horrible customer service by the attendant working inside. The few times I've went inside I was barely acknowledged each time, except for several grunts. This past time, the attendant tried to pass off an old token as $1 coin for my change. When I asked "What's this?", He responded "A dollar" very dismissively. When I responded with "Why does it say 'Elephant Car Wash?" he gave me an actual dollar bill without saying another word. The gas in the pumps is great though, I've never had a problem it. read more

I'm pretty sure the other reviewers are shills from a competing gas station. Rahul, the attendant, is truly the the most talented, humble, and kind human being I have ever encountered in my 46 years on this ball of dirt we call Earth. When he first found me, I was lying on the sidewalk beside the speedway, high on paint thinner and bath salts, wallowing in puddle of vomit and urine. Rahul took me inside the store and placed me in a room he had set up for lost souls sich as myself. Coming down through withdrawl that night and into the next morning was the worst experience of my life, but eben at my darkest hour, Rahul never left my side. He nursed me back to health, gave me a clean change of clothes and as much food as I could carry. I'll never forget what he whispered in my ear as I left: "You are worthy." To say he saved my life would be an understatement. Because of Rahul, I found my faith, went back to school, and met the love of my life! I am now a successful intellectual property lawyer. I have beautiful wife and newborn baby daughter. I still have the thoughts of an addict, but every time I face temptation I hear Rahul's words: "You are worthy." Rahul saved my life that day, but in a sense, he has saved my life every single day since. I am appalled that trolls like "Brian F" and "Sonya B" are allowed to damage the reputation of this great man and his place of employment with their lies. read more

I've gone to this station several times, they are rude and disrespectful. Yesterday desperately needed air in my tires I put $1.50 in the machine instead of receiving air I lost more air. I went to the clerk to report the issue and get my $1.50 back, he says how do I know you put $1.50 in the machine, no I will not refund you, said rudely. Before I got out of the car I told my wife I bet they wouldn't refund me, I was right. That also lost her business with them. I went to the QFC and put air in my car. This place is conveniently located but the service is bad. The air compressor never works. The people working there frequently do not acknowledge you when you go to the counter to buy something. Customer service is always poor. read more

Customer service is really lacking, the guy thy usually works there seems to give everyone the death glare. He does not seem like he likes his job. I only come here for gas when I'm in a hurry or if its snowing and I don't want to drive far because its closest to my house. Prices are noticeably higher than neighboring has stations. The deli looks like its always closed and no ones operating it. The place is well lit and you will never run into a line because of these factors. I would keep driving if you can make it. read more

I am disgusted that in order to post this, I must give at least one star. This gas station is the epitome of sh*t customer service. I've never had a positive experience here. Long story short, the attendant in only this one sh*tty experience I'm going to share (older man with a yellow turban) was completely condescending and tried to keep money from a few winning scratch tickets. If I had gone in unaware of my winnings, he would have succesfully STOLEN $65. I'm not surprised in the slightest to see a low rating. This review isn't even worth writing, unless it gives someone the chance to avoid a sh*tty experience. In reading other reviews, specifically Brian F. who posted in 2012, just think of all the people they have successfully taken advantage of. I'd prefer to run out of gas and haul my 4 month old on my hip rather than give them my business, money or time of day. In my world, they are already out of business... Just drive on by. read more

Just echoing what's already been said by everybody else. Probably the rudest cashier i've ever encountered, which is saying something. He could at least acknowledge my existence while he's taking my money, although this will no longer be a problem since I wont ever be going back as long as he's working there. My best friend's family owns this Shell. It's the raddest g-station on this side of the Mississippi.

I know I mentioned the gas prices being higher than the gas from the station down the Muk speedway. Today shell's gas was 3.79 for regular unleaded. At the other station, it was 3.33 which I think is considerably lower. The premium (which my car takes) is 3.99 a gal, at the other station it is 3.51.. this place is a ripoff, I think they over charge on purpose since it's possibly a franchise. And the turban man inside is still extremely rude and dismissive. read more
