In long I've only ever stopped here for gas, which is what I can say about 99% of my experiences, ever, with gas stations. I essentially never go inside unless I'm on a road trip, and this place is local to me. A few months ago, they consistently matched the lowest prices in town, and I started making that mental note to swing in here when I was empty. Lately, the Strait of Hormuz is closed through no fault of mine or Shell's, and gas prices are skyrocketing. I didn't check the sign, and paid $0.20 more per gallon than the next-highest place around here. I'm pretty annoyed with myself for this, especially since I saw it $0.50 cheaper a couple hours later when I was picking up groceries. My bad. Gotta burn more awareness into my brain.

On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court.

Pulling in was without obstruction as was operating the kiosk at the pumping stall I used. The colors on the station were vibrant, something that really made an impact up-close. For the payment/selecting a fuel grade part of the process, a car wash option was presented early on. While I selected no, I did notice a sign by the road when my car was fueling up that communicated gas price(s) were 10 cents cheaper with a car wash option. The receipt printed at the stall once I was done fueling. The only hiccup I encountered was with the handless feature of the nozzle I used, I tried to prop the handle up and the clip-like feature kept sliding out.

While pumping gas I noticed the sign. I went back inside to complain and was told by a clerk/owner I should have alerted him BEFORE I paid for gas. Really?! I was had. QFC and Fred Meyer always ask if I have a rewards card. Another Shell station asked if I had a rewards card. It's called being user friendly. It was only $30 worth of gas so not a big deal but nobody likes to be taken advantage of. Forewarned is forearmed. I will never go to this station again.

After a considerable wait a big tall fellow with black curly hair came out and slowly sauntered over, He walked past me never looked at me or even said a word to me and proceeded to fill the tank. Once the tank was full simply walked away and never said a word the whole time and looked seriously pissed that I had needed service. When I went inside to pay for the propane he was at one of the two cash registers and picked up a sign that said this till was closed, I was the only one in his line. Then he simply turned around and walked into the back of the station. Even the other blond haired man on the second till looked at him as if to say what is your problem. I needed to get gas for my car but decided to go to another gas station where I would feel appreciated as a customer.

In long I've filled up here for 20 years off and on, and it has modernized a bit over that time. They consistently have some of the lowest prices around, though a couple stations occasionally edge them out (and Costco is virtually always #1 on price). 99 is pretty busy through here, and there's often a lot of cross traffic as well. Cutting across lanes to get in and out of here can be tight. Last night I saw a nice lady in an Infiniti wait to pull out for longer than it took to fill my tank and get back in my truck. There's often something busted here. I've gotten skunked at least half a dozen times due to broken card readers. Last night it took at least a minute before the reader recognized my card and started authorizing it--but it locked my card physically in the slot that whole time. Started to wonder whether I'd ever get it back. The pump handle itself didn't reset correctly after the last person used it, so I had to unblock it, flex it, and then try again before it finally started flowing. None of this is necessarily worth an extra few bucks a tank. You just stand there and shake your head for a couple minutes. But I'd certainly never trust the car wash here...lol

Pumping stations are easy to maneuver and can accommodate larger vehicles. The food option is a Jacksons fully equipped with bakery items, hot dogs, hot and cold beverages, and other items.
