Not really sure how to quite phrase this about this gas station I'll just start off with. It's very outdated very dirty and extremely expensive compared to other gas stations that are just down the road. Several of the nozzles on the pumps don't work. The automated car wash looks like it's seen better days and it's not working anymore and they don't want to put any money into it. The building needs to be cleaned on the outside the rust removed and repainted and inside. I don't think I've ever seen a more disgusting bathroom. It almost looks like it hadn't been cleaned in days and smelled terrible. For being the only gas station in town, you think they would take pride in their business and keep everything functioning and clean, but whoever owns this place I believe they're just in it for the money and they don't put any into the business. read more

It was late I was thirsty out of town I went into this gas station simply to buy a beer when I went to the counter the man at the counter took my $10 bill he simultaneously crumpled up the receipt in his hand while he was speaking on the phone and handed me a dollar 85 cents I knew something was off immediately I said give me the receipt he reluctantly gave it to me it was crumpled into a ball I opened it I said hey you owe me $5 plus 2 cents for my change the guy wouldn't even acknowledge me he continued to speak on the phone like I wasn't even there made the correction and almost left out the two cents until I mentioned it I said what language are you speaking sir he said it's Punjab I said oh how interesting have a great night! Friendly cashier that we saw both times when we stopped here for snacks and drinks. No cash back but there's an ATM. This place was really busy both times and they kept the line moving. There's a lot of variety here for snacks and saw some things I hadn't seen before. read more

Friendly people for cashiers but gas seems always high,kinda understandable since we are a tourist mecca and this store feeds a good share of them and provides a wide-array of products the traveler might need. Only store that doesn't go to bed at sundown in the Shores and has a car wash to get that salt off before your vehicle corrodes like Lot's wife, who looked back and was turned Into a pillar of Salt by a P.O.ed Diety I dont think Ocean Shores has the pr problem of a Sodom or Gomorrah. read more

If I could give them a -1 I would. My husband stopped by to fill up and get a #walottery quick pick. The "white" person in front of him got thier quick pick no problem. Then when my husband who is filipino and looks Native American asked to buy a quick pick, he was told "sorry I cant", he inquired why since the person before him got his. The cashier said "we are out of paper". He didn't argue and as he turned to leave a young lady who appeared to be training the cashier said loud enough to be heard, "we get thier kind in here all the time"....UH WHAT???? This straight up discrimination and illegal. Do not patronize this gas station. There are others in town. This Shell Station in Ocean Shores is not posting what their gas prices are on their ReaderBoard. If you go in and ask the Cashier what the price of gas is she will tell you she doesn't know, that she is only a cashier and just works there! As of Yesterday it was $5. 69 per gallon! Their pumps don't even tell you what the prices are. Only what the last customer paid! Isn't that interesting. The owner standing by will tell you their sign is broken and someone is coming out that afternoon to fix it! That was 3 days ago.Still nothing posted! That sign has apparently been broken for the past 3 months!!! I I suspect he is not telling the truth. I live here and have not seen a gas price posted on their Readerboard the last 3 times I have filled up there! In the meantime if you need gas, have to fill up you will be forced to have to pay whatever they are asking that day. Appears to be a serious case of non disclosure and price gouging. The 65 % Senior Population in Ocean Shores and Tourists are being taken advantage of. Shame on them! You will find gas a lot cheaper at the two stations at Hogans Corner on Highway 109 located minutes away! If this poor business practice continues, I suspect they will be boycotted by the locals soon. read more

This service station is located conveniently and centrally in ocean shores.... But although it looks shiny and new from the outside, as other reviews have said, several pumps didn't work and the staff don't seem to like people very much. Not sure how this compares to other options in this sleepy little town but we'll be shopping around in the future. read more

Omg! WORST customer service ever. Locals tell me they charge extra for gas than what they advertise for. Lady behind the counter very rude, put quarters in instead of tokens for vacuum, her response was oh well guess you lost $2. Don't go here even though there's only one other place to go for gas in Ocean Shores. It seems everybody in this town is trying to make a buck off tourist. read more

Pulled into the car wash at the Shell station and carefully read the instructions which said put dollars here and gave me a slot and that the car wash was $6.I could not feed money into the carwash slot (it wouldn't work) so I went into the office with $6 and was told that the car wash doesn't take money and you have to pay here and it would be $7. I explained that the screen and instructions said $6, and anticipated some pleasant or gentle response but I got attitude and that's why I would say don't come here. I don't care if the car wash is any good or not but I do expect when it's their fault and the instructions are incorrect that they don't give out a lot of lip and attitude. I'm sorry to give them one star but I'm forced to select one rather than leave it at zero. read more
