Shell stations just plain kickass. Lower priced and great service really make a difference!

Wow. I had the pleasure of meeting Cynthia at the register today. What a ray of sunshine! Just overall a terrible person. I thought she was only having a bad day but after reading the reviews, every day is a bad day. Anyway, I spoke to Norma (manager) who will talk to Susie (next level of manager). Staff is extremely rude especially the short manager lady. Most disgusting way speaking to customers it's absolutely vial. I manage many gas stations and I'd fire her on the spot and retrain other staff members. She's miserable! read more

I will be contacting the BBB for a full audit!! I called and Requested to speak the manager multiple times I was there the morning of 7/1/25 when the pump charged my $20 but no gas was discharged! I walked into the store and told the cashier, he could not give me the $20 worth on gas or a refund! At the end of the close out of that cashiers box there was an additional $20 if not more with no sale sold! I have yet to get a call back! Or a refund! read more

This station is awful. Always seems to be a pump not working. Again had to go inside and and was met by an employee by the name of Cynthia. Was completely rude and acted like why are you bothering me. Needed assistance with ralphs reward card and then also needed a copy of the receipt. Acted like this was a complete inconvenience. Came to get gas today at 3:40 on January 24th 2026. and the lady at the register was obviously having a bad day. was rude and mean to the guy ahead of me, and then gave me attitude because i called her out on her trying to charge me for a more expensive item just because the barcode wasn't working on the cheaper one. I came here on my way back into town as like most females we like to ride our cars to almost empty.. Ok, ok.. I'm smarter than that but it happened today and I figured I would just grab it now since it's literally right off the fwy. The driveway getting into was a decline so you gotta think quickly if there are cars in front of you. I went over to a pump on the end, punched in my rewards number and got the gas I needed to be on my way. If you're not a member already sign up with the fuel rewards and you can get a certain amount of cents off the gallon depending on which one you go too. The gas area was clean and I got in and out and back on the road in no time. read more

Requested to use the restroom and the attendant said there was no restroom when it clearly says they have a restroom on the outside. And yes I just spent over $100 on fuel. Rediculous! read more

This Sell station has an awesome air/water pump machine. First, it wasn't broken. Second, it takes many forms of payment. But what I found the most helpful was you enter the desired psi and it notifies you when you've reached it so you don't overfill. Awesome! read more

Paid $8 for the works car wash, machine malfunctioned & only sprayed my car with soap. Spoke to Chris the night shift employee who only wanted to give me a basic $6 car wash. I showed my receipt & he replied with "You want it or not I'm giving you a free wash" how is it a free wash when I paid $8 & didn't get my original wash? Such a rude person. Won't be going there anymore. read more

This is the worst car wash I've seen. Most of the jets don't work. It in desperate need of maintenance. I've had it fail several times and they just offer a refund. How about fixing the car wash? Please repair the only car wash in Acton. This place just gets better. Now they have this sign at the car wash, but I paid for my wash at the pump. It amazes me that shell would allow such a terrible representation of the corporate name. I pay for the best wash available. Half the sprayers don't work, the spot free finish doesn't work, and now the dryer doesn't work. It's impressive how bad this gas station is being run. read more

I gas up at this location quite a bit since I commute from Palmdale to work in Burbank and Valley Village. It is very convenient and the times I go it always looks like it is maintained pretty clean. Would definitely continue to stop at this location. read more

I needed gas and stopped at shell. I had issues at the pump and the cashier David was able to help me pay at pump by giving me step by step instructions he was extremely patient with me! We need more cashiers/people like him in this world! read more

If I could give this place -100 stars I would. I went to pay for gas and had a $20 bill and $5 in quarters & dimes which I had counted out for the cashiers plus 60 cents in pennies which I had all separated and ready for them. Even though there was only one person behind me in line, Jennifer & Alicia told me they had "too many customers" for me to pay $5.60 in change even though I was also using a $20 bill. The man in line behind me gave me a $5 bill in exchange for my change since the rude and absolutely lazy cashiers were being so absurdly difficult. I thanked the man who traded me $5 for my quarters and told Jennifer & Alicia I would never be coming to this gas station ever again, even though I've been coming to this gas station for YEARS on my way to work in the valley. I hope some kind of manager sees this and does something about this! There is no sign or no rule that states that I cannot pay using $5 in quarters & dimes, and 60 cents in pennies along with my 20 dollar bill. read more

I usually stop here if I need gas on my way home from my brother's house in Palmdale because of the ungodly long trip and poor gas mileage climbing the hills. Conveniently located just off the 14, they have gas (which is a plus when you need gas). But they also have annoying tv's at each island blaring commercials. Oh, and their squeegees are some of the worst I've ever used. I even tried two and they were both bad--left huge streaks on my windshield so I ended up having to use my wipers anyway. If you're feeling hungry and it's still a long way home, there's a Jack in the Box next door. read more

This place is way too crowded, very difficult to make it through the lot, back up, turn around, etc to finally park by a pump as there seems to be a car at just about every pump there. If that was not annoying enough, this place has no public restrooms for paying customers! They send customers out to Andy Gumps outside! Even the sink to wash your hands in afterward is a portable sink outdoors. NO THANKS! If it had been me choosing the gas station I would have picked the 76 station across the street that wasn't super packed but my BF chose the Shell as it was 4 cents cheaper per gallon. So we saved about 48 cents total, wasn't worth it at all. Was relieved to make it out of the packed lot without getting in a fender bender. read more

As far as gas stations go - this is like most others. Nothing too amazing to scream about. Granted - Shell gas is some of the best out there, but this place tends to process transactions differently than most other Shell stations. BEWARE Debit and Credit Card Users!!! If you choose to pay at the pump (as of June 16, 2012), this station will impose a Double Hold on your card. If you pump $50.00 worth of gas, this Shell will place a hold on your account for the cost of the gas you pump AND an additional $95.00. So now you can't spend the $50.00 you actually spent, and you can't spend another $95.00 that you rightfully should be able to. In my opinion, this is wrong. Some gas stations will do $1.00 holds. Why can't this one? To avoid the $95.00 hold, you must walk inside the store and specify the amount you wish to pump. The merchant claims they get ripped off when people pump $95.00 and the transaction doesn't clear. I call B.S. The purchaser's bank or credit company backs them up. The gas station should NOT impose additional holds to insure their payment. Just FYI - pay inside if you pump at this station unless you don't mind not being able to spend $95.00 of your own money until the merchant decides to process the transaction. Law gives them about a week to do so. read more
