It's a busy location right outside six flags magic mountain. It's a normal gas station but the cashier Patty made it a pleasant experience. She was doing her best to clean the place all by herself and was working hard. She checked my family out and was pleasant and fun to talk to in the quick exchange. This Chevron is a disaster when it comes to customer service and common sense. It seriously feels like the hiring criteria are "barely functioning." My wife, who is 42, wasn't allowed to buy a lottery ticket because she didn't have ID. Fine--maybe that's the rule. But then I, a 36-year-old with grey hair and a full beard, was denied a lighter because I didn't show ID. The cashier insisted it was "state law," which is completely false. You don't even need to be 18 to buy a lighter in California. The staff here move like they're in slow motion and act like they've never been trained. It's like walking into a break room at a retirement home where no one knows what's going on. I'm all for protecting kids from adult products--but that's not what this is. This is incompetence, plain and simple. To the owner: pay a little more and hire people who can think. Right now, your store is staffed with the most clueless group of people I've ever seen in customer-facing roles. Do better. read more

Yes, gas pumps are open 24 hrs but the convenience store is not. Chevron should post connivence store hours. Travelers needing to use the rest rooms, purchase water, etc. need to find alternative venues. What's more confounding is there is an elderly gentleman inside being non responsive. The man working the cash register at 11 PM on December 8th 2023 was extremely rude. I told him I did not want him to touch my ID and he screamed at. I don't see why it's an issue to use the hand scanner, which he ended up doing a few seconds later. Screaming at a customer like this is extremely inappropriate. I am pretty sure a manager was right behind him but am unsure if that was just another cashier. Screaming at customers will not get you business. I normally go to shell and plan to never return to this chevron. I only came because she'll is closed last 11. I regret choosing this gas station. Our very last stop before heading into the central valley. We stopped here to fuel up and stock up on water. There were plenty of gas pumps available, and the convenience was well-stocked. The restrooms were clean, and everything here was orderly. The gas prices were comparable to those of Los Angeles. Our stop here took less than ten minutes, and we were on our way. Car wash is a joke. The instructions are confusing and a mess, every single car before and after us had a hard time figuring out where to stop for the process to start. If you're even slightly off, the car will not be properly washed. The dryers don't even work properly either. They stay in place and we all left with still so much water and soap dripping from the car. The cherry on top: we got gas as well and thought the tank was full, since the pump stopped pumping gas and refused to keep going. Only to find out the tank was only 3/4 full. RVS BEWARE! DONT GO HERE!-they will literally go off on you if you take too long pumping gas or don't move the instant you are done. Clearly all about $$ and not if you need to get a drink or throw out trash. Moving an rv is so hard, I've never had any other gas station do what they did to me! I'm in a motorhome so I waited for two cars to leave before I could pump my gas. When I pull in, due to the way the set up is, I have to take up two spaces. My son pumped gas while I changed. I'm handicapped so this is easier for me. The placard is prominately displayed in my window. I had just put around $150 in my tank and couldn't even take the time to finish changing. Almost always a guaranteed pit stop on my way in and out of LA. Right off the freeway and next to Magic Mountain which makes it an even more popular spot. Usually stop to get a drink and use the facilities. Their bathrooms can get gross quickly with all the foot traffic and just gross people in general. I've come here when the bathrooms were closed for repairs or cleaning and it was inconvenient. The check out line can get pretty long sometimes if it gets crowded. Conveniently located off of the 5 in Valencia, California is this Chevron gas station easily accessible whether you're heading North or South on the Interstate. The spacious gas station is also connected to a large mini mart with a plethora of items and restrooms. Our family stopped here twice in the past couple of weeks, both times heading in the opposite direction on the Interstate. Our first experience was a little frustrating because after a long day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, we just wanted to fill our tank up before heading back South only to be interrupted by an Asian man claiming to be an emergency "Doctor" that ran out of his house to an emergency without his wallet. His car was supposedly around the corner and he needed around sixty dollars in cash (That's a lot to ask a complete stranger for!) to fill his tank. He promised to pay us back three times that amount ($200 to be exact.) if we would help him out. We were tired and just wanted to go home so we gave him $5. We immediately regretted it once we saw him take off barely mumbling a thank you before hitting up the next customer at the next pump. To make a long story short, patrons don't appreciate being what I consider "harassed" while at their business. I know it's difficult to control begging, but I wish that they could figure out a way to stop it. This is one large Chevron station. Located right before the entrance to Magic Mountain. They have many gasoline pumps, but I did not come here to fill up the tank. Normally, Chevron stations are priced much higher than the competition. Came here cause we needed to use the restroom. The men's room was fine for a gas station. More than one stall and one urinal is always good. My wife said the ladies room was large and fine as well. The interior of the store was surprisingly clean. There was tons of people coming and going. Not much of a mess while we were there though. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. Seemed like there were only two people on duty, but they kept the line moving. This station is A-Ok in my book. read more

I completely understand that they were busy or having a hard day because I myself work with customers but yesterday night I go in to buy some snacks and a charger because my phone was dead and my car doesn't have a charger port so I bought and asked if I can charge my phone here and they said yes. I find out the box of charger($36) I bought didn't have an iPhone cable so I go and buy a $18 lightning cable to charge my phone I didn't break anything nor ripped any tags the charger had, so when my phone charged enough to know where I can go to go home(it was my first time in that are) I go and ask if I can return the charger and the guy there was telling me no. I don't understand why I couldn't return it if the charger was used for less then 10 minutes. For some reason, this has become our go-to spot for filling up the car when on road trips to and from Northern California. I personally like this location because it's right off the freeway, there are a lot of pumps, it's well lit, and the bathrooms are most of the time, very clean. We can also stock up on any junk food that we're craving as they seem to have it all. Which for me, is always Twizzlers and Flamin' Hot Cheetos. I never eat them otherwise. Truth. The pumps here take forever to process. You have to go through a ton of selections even before you pump gas. It even ask you if you want a reciept even when the machine is broken and tells you need to come inside to see the attendant. I find myself doing this regularly here and waiting behind 4 people in line. There are quite a bit of workers here but everyone is lazy to help out at the register. Quite frustrating since the cashiers are really slow. Apparently, they don't train their employees to be friendly with customers. I've received attitude from workers here espeically from teenage kids that work here. Looks like someone needs to teach these people some customer service. read more

Very clean bathrooms and huge variety of goodies. Best of all, it's right off the freeway, so you can hop right off and back on! Right off the I-5, the same exit for six flags... pretty convenient location, typical e-mile market/chevron. Stopped here as a pit-stop to refuel both car and riders before continuing the long drive thru the grape vine. 20 mins after leaving I realize I've forgotten my phone near the fountain machine..... the store clerk was kind enough to pick up my phone and store it from me while I tried to back track. ugggh I added an unnecessary 45 mins to my already long drive back to the bay. anyways thank you to the clerks (morning of 04/23/2014) for holding my phone for me.... read more

I've come here several of times, since living in Valencia. Really never had an issue until, today. What is crazy is that Ralph's will sale you lottery tickets in the store without an ID. We are simply talking about a machine that delivers you a mega million ticket, without the 411. I came here quickly before the cut off time to purchase a ticket, and this kid Iven who apparently is new to the gas station and hasn't had many opportunities to sale lottery tickets, demands an ID??? Not only is this a ridiculous requirement , but he seriously thought that he could make up that "he can't allow the sale of a ticket without an ID". It would have made since if I had no experience in purchasing tickets, but he got the wrong one. Not only are there 20+ other gas stations that will have no problem in allowing the purchasing of the lottery ticket. I'll gladly take my business somewhere else. According to this Yelp page and the signage on the door this place is supposed to be open 24/7. When I arrived at 2:40 am 8/23/16 there were two team members inside. Soon as I walked up to the night window they went in the back. I knocked on the window a couple of times and the two team members emerged from the back and said we're closed and we won't be opening for awhile. Staff is hit and miss. Sometimes attentive, friendly and Awesome, sometimes...too busy to open another register when the line is 10 people deep. It's a great location, people from Magic Mountain almost always fill-up here before heading home. Car Wash works great, it also has vacuums and air for tires, so it's a GOOD gas station imo. I don't know why, but I always enjoy seeing the display of Coke 12-packs made into some sort of sculpture! I have seen many different displays over the years, and frankly it deserves mentioning. They need to try to keep cartons of the MOST popular smokes! Like Camel Lights (BLUES)! They just can't keep up with the amount of cigarettes that are demanded!!! On August 11, 2016 at 6:55 am. My fiance' and I just drove 10 hours from northern California and needed to stop to fill up, get coffee, food, then use the restrooms before heading on our way to Orange. While she used the restroom I filled up our tank. Afterwards I went inside Chevron to use the bathroom. The men's bathroom was blocked off and a sign stated that it was being cleaned at the moment. Okay no problem I can wait. I asked the Chevron employee Natalie how long it was going to take to finish and she replies "All day!" I responded, "All day Natalie?" reading the name on her shirt. She raised her voice and said, "YES ALL DAMN DAY!" and she explained to us that there was a Wendy's across the street I could just go use their bathroom. My fiance' and I were absolutely shocked at her response. The way she talked to paying customers was inexcusable. Wendy's was obviously closed at 7am. I explained to Natalie that we had just filled up our tank and are making more purchases here. Natalie responded by just repeating the words "GOODBYE!" "GOODBYE!" and waved at us while shutting the door on our faces. I immediately went back inside to find the manager Nancy and talk about Natalie's conduct. All Nancy could say was, "sorry sir." I told Nancy I could not believe this is how Chevron treated its customers and that I would be contacting Chevron directly. Nancy just responds "SO?" and that there is a phone number on the front door to file a complaint. I could not find that number and Nancy didn't help in any way to point it out for me. As I was still speaking to Nancy, Natalie was behind her waving back at me, smiling, making rude comments under her breath, and saying "GOODBYE" again and again. I just shook my head and responded "Really?" I have worked customer service in the IT industry for close to 25 years now and I have never heard of an employee treating a customer this way without major repercussions. I personally feel Natalie has no place interacting with the public when she lacks the most basic sense of propriety and kindness to your customers. Nancy obviously didn't have the managerial skills to fix the issue at hand. We left very upset, we still needed coffee, and I still needed to use the bathroom. We will NEVER stop at another Chevron station again if this is the kind of people they hire to treat their customers so rudely. read more

My girlfriend and I stopped in after a great day at Magic Mountain. We filled up our tank and bought a bottle of water. We had our dog with us who was really thirsty. I went back inside to get a cup for her and saw an employee near the cups. I asked if I could take the smallest cup for my dog and he told me it would be thirty cents. Thirty cents for a tiny paper cup? He wasn't kidding. I reached in my pocket and he told me I had to pay at the register which had a rather long line. I took out a dollar, put it on the counter next to him, and walked out with the cup. I was in a hurry to drive six hours north. This pleasant gentleman proceeded to call me an "a**hole" as I left.
