You could not tell the chicken from the crusty outside. I wanted to exchange it for something that was at least kind of soft. The female behind the counter said said "sorry cannot do that". I said do you see how hard it is and I banged the chicken tender on the counter. She just looked at me and I said I can't like maybe the Burger at least it looks fairly soft. She said "no". I replied, "you mean I bought it my tough luck? If I was stupid enough to trust this place that's my fault it's on me"? She seemed rather unfazed like it happens all the time. She just sat there on her chair/stool looking at me as if waiting for me to leave so I did.

I'm generally willing to pay a few extra cents (5-10 more) if it means I wont have to wait in line, but both gas stations were empty and it was cheaper here so I stopped in! Pretty standard gas station, right off a freeway exit and near a freeway entrance. Quick and easy :). Oh yeah, They have lotto! Big plus for that :).

Price: has always been cheaper than at any other Shell gas stations that I've seen or been to. Even though they have a few questions at the pump before you can actually pump gas I really don't mind because gas is cheap here. They use to have a car wash but they took it out so hopefully that particular question will be taken off. Fingers crossed. This place is convenient and cheap for me so I'm there! Will travel! I like this gasoline station as it's not like most places off or near freeways that charge you an arm and a leg- sometimes 20 cents more. At night the place is well lit and has easy access back to the freeway. So I just drive up, gas up and go. I have a gold Shell gas card so I get 5 cents discount per gallon. If you link it to a MasterCard and/or Ralph's card then you can get 10 cents off. Costco is still the cheapest but if you're in need of of a fill up late at night then this Shell is the cheaper alternative.

It's cheaper across the street, but it's across the street and I'm already here. Anyway, it goes downhill from there. First pump's screen was so bad you couldn't read it to process credit card. Then I tried the next one and the machine froze. Waited about 5-10 mins and still no gas, so I cancelled and went across the street for cheaper gas, then find out Shell has two holds on my card for $125 each. They better not charge me for anything. Argh! The food at Lolita's was amazing though.

Well you can get your happy bootie off the freeway at Rosemead head north one block and stop at this Arco where you will find some of the cheapest gas around the SGV. This is a great quickie stop with a very large number of pumps allowing for quick and easy filling. There is almost never a line and you can hop in and out of this place with ease. The store inside has a ton of the typical convenience store type items; pre made sandwiches, hot dogs, microwavable burritos, slushies, soda, beer, candy bars, lotto tickets, you know whats up with these places. Having this place on a corner with a signal makes for an easy turnaround to get back to the fwy as well. Then again, it also provides a quick shortcut route up to the 10 or 210 depending on the time of day! I often cruise up Rosemead (CA 19) to do just that. So hop in hear if you are ever in an need of some fuel or a quick snack... I also have gotten to know all the employees that worked there since I get my gas at least twice a week there the past 30 years but unfortunately I will no longer be giving them my business. For the past three months the morning employees that are there at 7am, a younger male and sometime a older mid aged both Hispanic gentlemen refuse to take cash and make all the excuses in the book not to take cash and makes everyone pay by credit card. My bosses don't let us take cash, oh we forgot to get change, my register is broken. I finally got mad enough and asked an afternoon employee if that is a new policy and she said no and the reason why they are not taking cash is because they already counted the cash for end of shift and they don't want to recount it so they are telling customer no cash. If you are the owner of this location and are reading this, PLEASE FIX THIS! And get better employees that doesn't lie to their customers.
