The inside is pretty huge, as it contains more than just snacks .... it has a restaurant, donut station, clothing and gifts, as well as the usual coffee and beverages and ice cream. Their gas prices are competitive (Exxon). But I wanted to make note of the service there. Becky had a great sense of humor, and she happened to be a manager elsewhere. I stayed around to enjoy the snack I purchased there, and I saw a lady who looked troubled. Becky rushed out of the Center and hugged the lady. That's customer service times 10! (It was sorta a last minute calling-and-audible thing in the car.) It was pretty crowded on a weekday afternoon, but we got lucky with parking. (Right up front!) We needed to get a few things for dinner (we were currently a dozen peeps packed in Big Bro's house for a few days) so bulk was the way to go. We found everything we needed, and with the scan and go option, checking out was at ease. We couldn't leave without making a stop at the café. Mom had her usual hotdog and drink combo, and I had my pizza and drink combo. What a bargain: less than $5 to feed us both! And it's not like they're snack sizes: they were meal sizes! FUNNY FACT: I finally found something smaller in Texas vs California. I was surprised as I expected it to be much bigger compared to the Sam's I normally go to. Great run! Good to know they're here. Outside, the sheer number of gas pumps means you never have to wait, and they even have a great car wash on-site. Inside, it feels like walking into a massive, one-stop-shop mall. If you need it--or if you forgot to pack it--they have it. They're selling everything from outdoor gear, deer stands, and lawn chairs to high-end Ray-Ban sunglasses and beautiful home decor. Then there's the food. You can smell the roasted pecans and smoked meats the second you walk in. The chopped brisket sandwiches are amazing, and the snack selection is endless--wall-to-wall jerky, fudge, and every road trip snack you could ever long for. This location was busier than I had EVER seen ANY Buc-ee's!! There were LINES to the restrooms! But they're always clean, so I get it! This weekend, we thought that after all these years, we would try their "Nuggets"... they were completely Styrofoam!! So bad! Heading back home, we wanted to return them... we weren't sure if they were really Styrofoam... or simply stale; either way, they were nasty! We didn't want a refund, but an exchange for one of the many OTHER Buc-ee's products we love! They said, "No Refunds; we can only give you the same product!" I said that's ridiculous... they're nasty/stale... after a little back-and-forth, they (Ryan) agreed to a merchandise exchange... I waited for my husband to gather items, got back in line... and started over (with Carson) ... I pointed to Ryan and said HE already agreed to the exchange... so HE called a Manager... HE came over, started the convo all over again... then he said, "Let me get someone" (Mind you, it's a $7 BAG OF NUGGETS)... ANOTHER "MANAGER" came over ... "Can I help you?" I said, "What do you mean... Can you help me? I'm sure you have already been given the information... Do you really want me to start over?", She then said, "Okay, we don't give refunds; Corporate won't let us... bla bla bla." I grabbed the vacuum hose, but when I placed it against my car, instead of sucking air, it acted like a water hose and soaked the entire vehicle. I immediately pulled it away and walked toward the office; an employee followed behind me and asked what the problem was. I explained the situation, and she said, "I'm sorry, but the first two vacuums aren't working. We usually park a car there to keep people from using them, but someone moved it." I asked, "Why don't you just put up an 'Out of Order' sign?" She replied, "They don't like that"--I'm not sure who she meant by "they"--to which I responded, "But that would actually work!" She offered, "If you want, I can call Chris [the supervisor]." I asked, "And what is he going to do? Is he going to dry my car for me?" I stood there drying my car myself, and no one came over to help; perhaps I had told her not to call him, but during the entire time I spent drying the car, no one even made an attempt to come out and check on me. I know of 3 other truck stops that fell for that Truck Parking Club sales pitch, implemented it, then lost so much business they went back to free parking. Miller Travel Ctr in Wellington, UT; Ute Mountain Travel Ctr in Cortes, CO; Garden Inn Travel Plaza north of St Joseph, MO are all FREE parking now. They let Truck Parking Club come in and install their paid parking signs then lost so much business they had to remove the signs. It's nice to see truckers sticking together and refusing to support businesses like these. It really does work!!

There were dried bugs and everything thing else on my car. When we came out of that car wash my car was sparkling! I have a subscription to Today's Car Wash but my car never gets clean like that. It also helps that the pre-washers actually spray the grills to get bugs off. I did not know about Mister car wash until that day. I'm really thinking of switching if this one is anything like the one I got to experience back home. Oh! And it was only like $26 I believe for the titanium wash (results were unbelievable!). I wanted clean, always hope for sparkling...from past experiences I never really expected too much but Mister Car Wash delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Even the hubby was impressed and he won't go to drive thru car washes bc he always has to finish the job anyway, especially on the grill. Oh! And your car doesn't come out dripping because there dryer at the end also has a huge towel that dries you off. I'm trying this one very soon! I would definitely recommend you try it out. That might be a regional thing though because I struggle to find anything healthy as it is either considered too expensive or too woke.
