The site itself is clean and located in the heart of several shopping centers, but also back off of the street away from all of the hustle and bustle. Quiet, clean, and well kept grounds, with ample parking, great neighbors, and welcoming staff. Centered at the heart of commerce, seems like everything I want or need is less than 10min away. The carpeted balcony and jacuzzi styled tub just adds an extra special touch to an already fabulous apartment complex. In community standards lease agreement. They have been partying and yelling having loud music almost every night. Really like the location and quietness of these apartments. It's like the perfect distance from the Strip and downtown without all the chaos and only 30 minutes from Red Rock Canyon + many other sick nature trails. Melissa, Bre and Ally are incredible at their jobs and definitely outshine the competition when it comes to leasing office staff!!Super friendly, easy to talk to and really well informed about the property. I hate the management here. They have no empathy and don't care about their residents. Among other things I don't wish to share in details, they couldn't extend my lease by 20 days even though I explained to them I have important medical appointments coming up. Some of the other horror stories here are true. They keep coming after their residents for nothing. Let alone that when I moved in, everything was broken. AC was broken the day I moved in in hot Las Vegas summer, and they refused to give any resolution like modifying the lease or giving a concession for the days I couldn't live there. Dish washer, laundry, etc, are broken a few times too. They vandalized my car a few times by putting a sticker on my windows that are impossible to remove without professional tools, because I "didn't park my car straight" . They also have 3rd party maintenance showed up at my apartment one day, when there is no notice at all. I believe these actions are illegal but residents usually don't have the time and resources to go after their landlord like that. My friend told me right away after I moved in that the neighborhood is not so safe. I have guests whose car got broken into overnight. There are many police cars in the community all the time. Many neighbors who lived in the community seem miserable and hostile. Some of the good things are that there are some very nice and hard working people here. For example, Miguel who works in maintenance is a really nice and helpful guy. But all things considered, this is still one of the worse places I lived in. read more

The nightmare with this place never ends. AFTER I moved out, they sent eviction to court which was dismissed by the judge however now it shows up online and they caused defamation on purpose. During the pandemic i had family living above me that made enormous noise everyday for a year. Leasing office did nothing. We had bad ac during the summer. they gave us 30 days notice that lease wouldn't renew when we had been there for over 10 years. didnt give us option to move to new apartment. we were not disruptive or violated lease, they just wanted to renovate and couldnt even let us move to a different apartment. they new well in advance of the renewal coming up that they would not let us stay. and they charge us 500 on top of taking our deposit because they have to put a little dry wall up and replace 2 toilets that are 15 years old. I'll first start by saying BRE is a gem there and I almost didn't want to share my truth because she did all she could do to help me but non the less ..even she couldn't stop the scammers from scamming This was my 2nd choice of places to apply to becuase of Bre's amazing tour and the apartment actually looked very nice and was on the second floor. I went to apply and with this one I had a co-signer. The drama unfolded when they attempted to verify my co-signers income. Now I'm very new to NEVADA so I'm not sure how the government taxes or so work, but I do know when my co-signer offered his tax return ..they rejected him because it wasn't what they were familiar with ? Huh ? It's a Government tax return ! He provided his business account information and they asked for his personal to justify his business ? Huh ? We went to cooperate and cooperate to him "yeah we understand ..but this is how we do things now. (They recently changed ) and this is what you have to have " now, I can understand that..however when I went too check on my application they locked me out ! And denied me. I asked for my deposit back and of course they tell me NO. I ask why they said "because fault is on your side ". The rule is if you are denied they return you your deposit ..they clearly denied me and asked me to reapply ..and send them. ANOTHER $200 dollars to re-apply after not giving me my $200 dollars on the first one. Even Bre was confused and said in a message she was so sorry for this mistreatment. The manager ..Michelle..... weirdo she kept telling me she "understood" but it's out of her hands ...so I say this to say ..be careful with these people. They don't deserve Bre. The gym just reopened. I'm so excited. And it's 24hours along with the pool. The manager Gwen is awesome. When I got my renewal offer they are lowering my rent by $300!! Couldn't have come at a better time. The ladies in the office always go above and beyond. I can tell they really care. Not to mention the resident activities. IT. living here is a complete set up, not to mention there's not a microwave in a majority of the units and you would think that they'd TELL YOU THAT. Communication was so horrible for MY ENTIRE move in process and they took damn near 30 days to approve me they changed my date several times. I just moved and I can't wait to end this lease and get the fuck out of here. Open properties should go out of business and so should all of the complex's that go with them. I'm not writing this review to get a discount on my rent. So here's the truth: this is a good place to live. It's affordable, comfortable, and reasonably safe. Maintenance staff is available all day (shoutout to Daniel-great service!), office is open seven days a week, there's a nice pool, they're remodeling the fitness center, and it's usually fairly quiet. It's dog-friendly, but there's no off-leash area for the dogs. Lots of doggie poop stations to keep the grounds clean. There's even a Pokestop near the tennis court. All in all, if you're looking to save money from high rental prices right now, this is a good option. read more

I moved in November 30th 2022 to a unit infested with roaches. My catalytic converter was stolen the first week I was there while parked. I have always paid my rent at the end of the month because I am paid semi monthly and it has always been accepted. I experienced a temporary set back and missed some time from work in May. I tried to give them May rent June 12 and they refused it and said I needed June as well and I would not have that until the end of June, remember that is when I pay my rent anyway. They still filed for an eviction and this place is considered to be a "second chance" apartment. LIES....they evicted me today, the day I had a case worker assigned to my chap rental assistance application. Now I will have an eviction on my credit and never be able to buy a home, all because they love to ruin folks lives. I literally have rent money now and do you think they wanna work with me???? I can't wait for the day when these apartments and private owners get what they deserve!!!!!!!! No compassion read more

I've been living here for almost two years now. Overall, my experience here has had both its ups and its downs. I live in a standard two bed/two bath unit as I'm paying $975 per month, which includes water, sewage, and utilities; Starting with the Pros: space is super convenient especially with two people living in the master bedroom. I LOVE the master bathtub- it's really big and very relaxing after my long days. The kitchen space is very roomy, not crammed at all. Living room space is nice too. The patio is definitely one of my favorite parts of the entire apartment. We had a rough patio carpet, and maintenance replaced it at no cost and was super quick with it- I used to cringe at even looking at it, but now I love it. Maintenance is really on top of things here, they get to you as soon as they can as they have other orders they have to get to as well. Cons: - major roach infestation, especially in the kitchen. Occasionally in the bathroom and in the living room. - chances of AC going out during the summer: our AC went out (had the temp at 68 degrees and it froze up the circuits, so no cold air was coming through); always keep it at 72 and on auto, NOT ON. - kitchen appliances (stove and fridge) can get really nasty if you don't clean them every so often. My stove gets super dirty and my fridge will randomly leak and have water sitting on the surfaces inside. Overall though, despite those three things, shelter Cove is a really quiet and friendly community to be in. Everyone here is cheerful, and the leasing office girls are always very friendly and helpful. Personally, I would recommend this place to someone looking for a place just because of my personal experiences here- the cons are manageable and easy to deal with. Not super complicated. This place has treated me well. read more
