When we get out of alignment they are always there. Our last visit one of our girls had a subluxation from gymnastics. She couldn't turn her neck and went from a lump in her shoulder that moved to her neck. We called and set up an appointment. She was scared to go, but made it clear she trusted no one but doctor Dan. She was scared and cried. He worked on her, comforting her through her fear. She held onto the table resisting. He was making gymnastic puns. "Dismount, dismount!" Ha ha After her adjustment, she could move her neck right away. By the time we got home she barely had any pain. She woke up the following day like nothing had happened, and has been great ever since. They always are taking new patients. My first session was with Kathleen who was very detailed and thorough. She has a kind, peaceful sensibility about her and is a wealth of knowledge on natural medicine. She recommended some things I could do outside of the acupuncture clinic which would be easy to implement. I've seen every acupuncturist on staff since and I've been happy with each of them, whether it's Danielle's friendly demeanor and clinical thoroughness or Nicole's cheerful, bright personality and gentle touch. I also like how the community acupuncture prices are on a sliding scale with a minimum of $25, on a pay as you are able to basis. What I will say is this, my experience with acupuncture & at this location has been wonderful & I know it will significantly limit my down time. Western medicine is a lot of prescription medications & I usually do multiple rounds of antibiotics, steroids, etc. Eastern medicine reduces downtime & no prescription medication.
