The Grafton burger was as dry as two hockey pucks. They forgot the lettuce too. A plain dry burger on a small plate. But she did say that my fries would be coming out soon. They finally showed up after I choked down the hamburger. It's a good thing that I had that unsweetened ice tea that was basically just water! No condiments offered and no refills either. And finally, my mother's chicken sandwich was covered in shredded lettuce when she specifically asked for no lettuce. I was advised to come in for dinner and that it would be better than any homemade food I could get. It was alright but certainly not that great. I will say that the fries were fantastic, the waitress was a very patient person, the restaurant was very clean and well kept. read more

I feel bad for Grafton. Coming from the PNW that is a foodie haven, finding quality eats in Grafton is arduous at best. Shenanigans is just like any small town eatery offering a variety of sandwiches, burgers, melts and pizzas. Great when you can't decide what to eat, and everyone wants something different. Pizzas are thin-crust - the 5th and 7th grader demolished an entire large. Fries are battered and delicious, but service is a bit slow - most likely due to low staffing due to low patronage. In short, you won't hate going here if it's the only thing open while you're reading this, but don't expect awesomeness. read more

I was in town for three days for work so I was able to try a sample of all the restaurants in town. This by far was the best in taste and service. They have a lunch buffet if I'm not mistaken every day which was good. The dinner rolls were amazing and was told was made fresh every morning. For dinner one night I ordered the walleye. The mashed potatoes were really good. Fresh and not from box. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I would definitely return again if I'm in the area. read more

I have never felt as confused and unwelcome as I did when entered this place. There was no signage explaining that it was a buffet the day I visited. When I tried to figure out what I am supposed to do or where to sit, I was treated as if I should have known. The staff acted as if I were a bother to them. Okay family style restaurant. Has salad bar, medium sized, but just iceberg for lettuce. There is a buffet which is unlimited trips and the seniors there seemed to like it for it quantity. Serves basically trucker or diner type food, hamburgers, fried platters. Wines and crap beers like Bud, Coors, lite beers, but no micro beers or anything of Sam Adams quality. read more

Highly recommended! Diverse menu, under priced, friendly staff, clean & casual. Best of all, great food!! Recommend the Walleye, fried pickle spears, sweet tater fries, and surprisingly good salad bar (more than just tossed salad). Ruben was ok. This is NOT Mexican food! I pretty sure the rice was just covered in tomato sauce. The food isn't bad though.

Recommended but be weary of what you order. I ordered a tea, spinach dip, and a buffalo burger. The tea tasted like water. It shouldn't be difficult to make tea. The spinach dip was the most runny and weirdest compositions of foods I've seen. It combined fried bread (like Hispanic fried ice cream) really runny and snotty spinach dip and chips and salsa. This is probably the weirdest way someone has prepared this Mediterranean dish. and the buffalo burger was one of the best buffalo patties I've ever had, but they don't include fries. You have to ask for them. I wanted to leave so I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap to go and pumpkin pie. The pie was store bought, but the wrap was one of the best chicken wraps I've ever had and it came with fries. read more

The deep fried pickles are to die for, service was good and price is very reasonable. The menu is massive, something for everyone. The buffet has choices you wouldn't expect for the low price. Seems to be some things are really good and others are bland. This is to be expected in a small town diner with a massive menu. The buffet is always great. Wonderful selection and reasonable price.
