They were very accommodating too. I really wanted a cosmopolitan in a martini glass (which they don't have on hand), and the manager ran down into the basement and pulled out a martini glass just for me. Next time I'm in Grand Forks, I'm definitely hitting up this bar again!!

Took them a while to clean it to be quite honest. I just didn't feel like they were doing a good job of busing and cleaning tables when people were emptying. Our table had been bussed but not cleaned and I know it had been sitting there for at least five minutes cause I watched it. Once we got seated, again felt the service was pretty slow. Took a long time for the guy to take our drink order and he walked by the table multiple times. Then when he finally did take the drug order, took a really long time to get drinks. In general, our server was just not very efficient. This occurred throughout the entire meal and often had to ask for things multiple times. For example, when I wanted to get another beer, it took almost 10 minutes. In that time he came to the table twice and on the third time, I finally said, did you get that beer for me and he had totally forgotten evidently. That was a fourth time he had forgotten something that was ordered. When we did actually get food and drinks, the food itself was very very good. The walleye cakes were excellent. My pasta was well cooked and had great flavor. The carrot cake martini was very interesting but definitely tasted like a carrot cake. I think they just need to work on their service, a lot. The quality of the food and the quality of the restaurant deserves much better servers.

This bar is part of the Sky restaurant, which is also arguably the nicest restaurant in town. To get in, you have to go in a building and up the escalator. There was a decent size group of us, but the bar was pretty busy and so we squeezed our group in the couch area. The drinks on the menu are pretty fancy, they have their own unique names, and they have a large variety of their drinks too. The drinks include things from the classics to even hot alcoholic beverages. Overall, it's a pretty decent spot and I think that if you're in Grand Forks, it's worth a stop to see what the town has to offer.

They also have this thing called a Fish Bowl, where the take the huge bowl (bigger then your head) and make a massive drink in it. Me and 3 other people shared it. This a great lounge, and one of my favorite lounges in Grand Forks!

My friend and I took a little journey from Winnipeg to have supper here and it was definitely worth…read morethe trip! It turns out we arrived just at closing time (7pm), but Eva insisted on serving us and having us dine in rather than taking our food to-go. The pizza we ordered was wonderful and I would welcome a trip back there again to try other things from the menu. We were the last ones in the restaurant and Eva was so nice, to the point that she sat chatting with us into the evening, as if we were old friends who had paid her a visit. What an incredibly friendly and interesting woman she is! On the way home we talked about what an enjoyable evening it had been and how glad we were to have gone. "Wow, can you believe THAT?" was actually spoken by my friend, referring to Eva's incredible hospitality and easy conversation. We consider ourselves lucky to have arrived just in the nick of time before the door was locked, and went away feeling like we'd made a new friend. It's a bit of a drive if you're from Winnipeg, but if you feel up to a little road trip I would highly recommend heading out to Vita and stopping in at Eva's. My friend and I will definitely make a point of going back.
