    Wine flight and charcuterie board

This vineyard is absolutely stunning!! I have been twice so far, once to use that spa amenities like the pool and a hot yoga class and then afterwards we headed over to the tasting room. The second time I've been we did the two different wine flights and one of their charcuterie boards, and everything was amazing. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The last time we were there a wedding was also going on and it was stunning the area they have for the ceremony and the area for the reception are both gorgeous.i can't wait to go back!

A true escape in southern Rhode Island! Shepherds Run feels like a gorgeous European escape! I don't want this secret getting out because it's such an amazing spot but I couldn't not give a review! We partnered with Emily on creating such a unique bachelorette stop and she went above and beyond! She created a custom wine pairing for us and created the most beautiful table scape for us to enjoy our wine after a tour of the vineyard and winemaking space! This is an absolutely stunning venue for a wedding or just an afternoon escape! The wines are rich, deep and flavorful! Not overly sweet or fruity! This is my top vineyard in Rhode Island to visit for sure!!

Would give Shepherds Run 100/5 stars if I could! I got married at the beautiful Shepherds Run this past April, and everything was absolutely incredible. My husband and I first toured Shepherds Run in May of 2024 and it has quickly became one of our favorite places for a day trip or a night away. Jackie did our venue tour, and she was so knowledgable and helpful throughout the entire process up until the big day. She made time the day before my wedding and day of the wedding to make sure everything was running smoothly for me, and that everything in my room was perfect for getting ready with my bridal party. We have visited time and time again and all of the Shepherds Run staff have been so wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Not only did we have our wedding at Shepherds run, but we also chose to have our rehearsal dinner in the wine hall. The space is gorgeous and intimate for a small event, and the food was to die for! The service was also incredible, they were available throughout the whole event to make sure everyone was having a great experience and that their wine glasses were full. Our guests at both our wedding and rehearsal had nothing but compliments about their experience! We have stayed a handful of times in both the south wing and manor rooms, and both are clean and super comfortable! The breakfast is also great! After our wedding night we also used the mind & body spa for some relaxation. The massage was absolutely amazing, and the hot tub was relaxing and very clean. The rooms and spa may be on the pricier side from your average hotel, but you get what you pay for! Of course I have to mention that the wine is great (rosé especially!) and the charcuterie/snacks are my favorite when visiting the run! I truly cannot thank the Shepherds Run staff enough for how friendly and accommodating they have been. We cannot wait to stay at Shepherds Run year after year to celebrate anniversaries to come.

This beautiful property has it all! From the relaxing and luxurious spa at Body & Mind, to the stunning interior rooms, and their delicious wine tastings from the property vineyard - this is it! We really enjoyed our time lounging at the outdoor pool, sipping wine in the study, and walking the gorgeous property. Reservations are encouraged, and service is so friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend for either a spa day, wine tasting, or overnight stay!

My favorite Rhode Island winery by far. Service, wine, and setting are all perfect! Warmer months are best spent outside on their well manicured grounds, while in cooler weather, you can enjoy their expertly designed interior.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was great and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, had a lot of variety and was provided every morning. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I would have liked a mini fridge in room but other than that I have no complaints.

I've been a customer & also catered events here. On both sides of the equation, Shepherd's Run is a pleasure. Visiting Shepherd's Run is a great excuse to dress up & imagine that you're in Tuscany. The ambience is incredible, the staff is kind & courteous, & the wine is phenomenal. The wine/chocolate pairing is a must.

What a stunning estate! Wine tasting rooms are beautiful with restoration hardware vibes. This was one of the best spots I visited on a bachelorette. Our server/wine sommelier was very knowledgeable and suggested we try the charcuterie tower along with a bottle of pino and sav blanc. Perfect

The staff at the hotel appear to be unprofessional and inexperienced. On my first visit over the winter the check in process was unorganized, and I was unsure as to who was actually the staff since they were not dressed in uniform or professional attire. Later I was unable to turn the ac off in my room, I called for help and could hear the two girls running through the halls on the way to our room. They arrived barefoot and did eventually help me fix the problem but it was odd that two young girls barefoot were running around as the hotel as maintenance. The elevator was very shaky and made a lot of noise. I was grateful that I did not have a lot of luggage or people with me, I used the stairs for the rest of my visit. I recently attended a seminar at the hotel, it began at 8am and had approximately 200 people attending. When I arrived at 7:45 the coffee was already empty. They had only one container for everyone. There was no one around to ask for more. About 30 min later after the discussion began they came to restart the coffee maker and they said it would've done in 15min After 15 min it was only hot water, not coffee. The girl said it was broken then left. She later showed up another gentleman, who was also in street clothes, with headphones on his head, and they were carrying two box's of joe. At this point it was 10am and everyone was just over the fact that they failed at providing coffee for their guests. I think some people had it but for me I was just ready for lunch at this point. The seminar was for all different medical professionals and I attend these types of lectures at other locations regularly. At other locations we always have plenty of coffee, and typically some kind of breakfast from muffins & bagels to breakfast burritos and usually fruit or yogurt.

At the end are my suggestions for improvement. If you consider two building facing windows with a craning neck against the window, then this place is for you. If you consider old WW2 cotton mattresses from the USS New Jersey to be the height of luxury, then you'll probably be disappointed by the bed; that depending on how tall you are you may need to sleep diagonally, then this place is for you. If you consider a complimentary breakfast to be LITERALLY: two types of cereal & plain bagels with the choice of soured milk so instead you use not as soured half & half for your coffee as well as "same day of use is not expired" orange juice for your cereal, then this place is for you. If you consider having the staff snicker at you as you struggle to open a heavy door against the wind with said bowl of cereal & cup of coffee spill as the door hits you hard; enough so that if I were a weak willed individual I could sue for money, then this place is for you. If you consider the price of this two night experience to be worth more than $650.00 dollars then this place is for you! However, if the price was literally a third less, then this would be mostly acceptable. Perhaps, if the breakfast was served warm with something cooked; instead of everyone's hands in the bagle bag, like you are trying to spread some herd immunity, eh. Anyhow, I'm not trying to be mean spirited, I'll leave that to the Enterprise yeahoos in the next review.

I'm not sure how much we paid per night, as it was a rewards stay. In addition, we have the IHG credit card so one of our nights was free (we stayed for five nights). Pros: -Fast and friendly check-in -Nicely sized room, with a mini fridge and a microwave -We had a king room and it also had a couch -Good AC, which was important because it was 90° for the first part of our stay -Good water pressure in shower -Super comfortable bed -There's a pool, we didn't use it though -We asked for fresh towels one day and they were able to bring some to the room for us. I'm not sure if housekeeping was supposed to be daily or not, but we only got housekeeping service one day out of our five there; to be fair, we had the Do Not Disturb sign up for a few hours in the AM while we were getting ready, though. Cons: -Hotel is definitely older. The elevator is a bit of a walk from the lobby, but there's a side entrance (which is near the elevator) so we would park near there. The hallways are kind of dingy and they were hot, but the rooms themselves have a good AC unit. -Bathroom is pretty small. It does have a bathtub/shower combo, vs just a shower, but the bathtub is also teeny; I needed my husband to help me out. -No free breakfast, which I knew going in. They do have an on-site Italian restaurant which looked pretty good, but it opens at 4pm daily, says Google. -The hotel is kind of hard to access from the road, if you're coming from the South; you either have to pass it, drive for a bit, and do a u-turn, or you can take a left (if heading north) and cut through the business plaza that's directly South of it. -One day none of our keycards would work ... Cole helped us fix the issue, which was, oddly enough, that if you keep the security lock on, it doesn't actually have a lock, BUT it will make it so no one's keycards work, except staff, it seemed. -Pro/con: wifi was fast and free but oddly enough, I couldn't stream anything on HBO Max on it; the app thought I was using a VPN. To get around that, I had to use my phone hotspot to download episodes of the shows I wanted to watch, then turn off wifi on my iPad. Very odd. I didn't have that issue with any other streaming app during our stay. Overall I would stay here again though, it was close to where we needed to be and the room was comfortable. We've also stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, which I liked, and the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick, which I did not like, and I would say this falls somewhere between those two.
