Spent a lovely summer late afternoon / early evening here with my parents, husband, and toddler sipping wine and listening to live music while lounging in Adirondack chairs in the sunshine. Can you beat that? (Answer: no) This was my first time checking out their new location and Gooseneck did a beautiful job. Inside and outside alike are wildly spacious to accommodate all manners of parties and some of the seats are seriously comfy. Can't wait to test out the fire pits. The space is truly gorgeous and liked that they had a food truck on site since they only serve charcuterie boxes in-house (they looked tasty, though!). Gooseneck vineyards was a beautiful location inside and out. When we saw the location which is directly on the highway, I was expecting it to be noisy and uncomfortable but it couldn't be further from it. The inside seating was really nice, barn chic and the outside was great with Adirondack seating and fire pits. Now the important part, the wine was 7.5/10. Their Pinot noir was velvety and delicious. I wasn't fond of the whites, they were a bit on the sweeter side to me but I enjoyed all of the reds I tried. The staff was overall friendly, and made good conversation. I did ask for something "not sweet", and they gave me a rose, which was an odd choice but they were nice. read more

What a cute winery!! When visiting the Providence area, our friend took us here on a Saturday afternoon. Even tho the weather was not great, the experience was amazing. I drank one of their white wines, and it was delicious. We also ordered from the pizza food truck, which was very good. There was live music, a great ambiance, and I could bet on a beautiful day you could find yourself spending hours here. They offer a variety of wines, flights, popcorn and a cute charcuterie box. What a day! We met friends for the Saturday live music and despite steady rain, it was a full house! Straight away- the wine is fantastic!!! Bar service was quite quick and more than fairly priced. Met the owner, who was an exceptionally class guy. Not the place for kids IMO, but was dog friendly outside. Plenty of seating, in and out. Worth your time to visit. read more

Disappointed by Gooseneck Vineyards' policy of not allowing a cake for a special occasion. We came to enjoy the live music, food trucks, and atmosphere, and planned to stay for several hours. However, when we learned we couldn't celebrate our special occasion with a cake, we chose to leave. It's surprising, especially when many restaurants and venues accommodate guests celebrating special occasions. We ended up going to a nearby establishment that welcomed us and our cake without issue. Unfortunately, Gooseneck's policy turned what should have been a memorable celebration into a short visit. read more

Wow, how have I not been here sooner?! Has the best evening at Gooseneck! I met a friend there with her kids and my son. There is a field so the kids just had a great time running around. My son loved the elevated charcuterie box and now wants me to make candied oranges. They had a pizza food truck there which was delicious as well. Went for the red wine flight and enjoyed them all. I actually love that they import a lot of their grapes since it allows for some awesome wine production. Love the overall vibe and there was plenty of seating. Valet made it easy as well! read more

We had a nice visit at this rather preppy winery, we went mainly for the pop up Art Fest by Wickford artists. The place was hopping! The art tents were set in the field and it was a nice autumn day. We stayed around for some wine tastes ($17 for 3) wines were ok, and friends enjoyed a glass of apple cider sangria ($17)! We found a nice spot under the tent to have some seafood chowder from Newport food truck plus a seafood mac & cheese good selections. Paying $9 for a tiny cup of chowder was too pricey. The music was to start at 2pm but He was late so he didn't get to hear much. I'm glad I made the visit as I drive by often l, but won't rush back because the cost of tasting. read more

First visit, but not my last! Lauren took care of us yesterday. She found us a great little space/room to celebrate my birthday and she took wonderful care of us. Our drinks were always full and she gave great suggestions. I especially loved the lemon spritzer and the prosecco---they were great! The ambiance is super cute, and i loved how they had blankets in case you got cold. While it's an adorable space for colder months, I really can't wait to come back when it's warm. Wines were good though not from their vinyard. Didn't find it very welcoming as they would almost grab the glass out of your hand at the last sip. That was annoying. I understand they wanted to keep their glasses, but most wineries want you to have a souvenir glass to promote their business. read more

Amazingly restored and transformed to a country chic, modern feel vineyard. The wood elements along with the bright central room make it such a refreshing environment. I had been here once when Gooseneck Vineyards first opened and have been wanting to come back ever since. I recently returned with a group of six girlfriends to celebrate a birthday, and it did not disappoint. The place was packed, but Lauren was so helpful and made sure we were able to get a table where we could all sit and enjoy ourselves. I had to try the wine cocktail menu and the Snow Globe Spritz was a standout, fun, festive and delicious. As always, I also enjoyed some prosecco, even though we wish we could've bought a bottle for the table. We rounded out the afternoon with popcorn and a pretzel from one of the vendors, which was the perfect snack pairing. Great atmosphere, great service and a wonderful spot for celebrations. Very disrespectful incident at this business tonight & entirely uncalled for Individuals keep driving down the "do not enter" part of your entry way past your food truck area Why you let this dangerous situation continue daily, who knows? This essentially creates the potential for accidents every single day at your business, including many times where I've personally seen parents being forced to grab their kids to avoid being potentiality run over as cars come at them by the food trucks going the wrong way regularly Tonight an individual went so far down the wrong way she turned into your front area with pimic benches and fire pits which obviously could have turned out to be disastrous I went over there immediately to make sure the individual didn't destroy your prorperty or mote importantly, injure anyone I was immediately barked at by one of your employees while trying to help & to make sure that none of your patrons weren't run over by this person Your employee continued to berat & disrespect me, so I walked away Minutes later I made an innocuous comment to one of your other employees about the danger of the incident and what does the same employee do that was barking at me do? She starts barking at me again, as does one of your other employees When I politely ask her to stop treating me thay way, the other employee steps in and says they can say & do whatever they want to because they work there He then lies about being out front & witnessing my conversation with your employee that was barking at me rudely when all I was doing was attempting to help Do this Ask him if he saw or heard what happened out front between me where I tried to help out front & where your disrespectful employee was barking at me He tried lying & saying he was there. He wasn't. Just pull up the cameras So I apologize for being a regular patron of your business and trying to stop a woman from injuring peolpe or damaging your business and property What a terrible person I must be As for your two disrespectful employees who continued to bark at and disrespect me over my conveying two things... One, that individual driving the wrong way is going to hurt someone And Two, please don't bark at me and stop disrespecting me for trying to help I could care less about those two rude individuals It's good that this happened though as maybe you will actually remidiate that terrible wrong way driving situation happening by your food trucks you don't have to wait five minutes from being at your establishment to witness daily Someone going down the wrong way of the entrace directly in the line of fire of children and other patrons making their way back & forth from the good trucks is a regular occurrence & it's only a matter of time before sometnomh terrible happens It nearly did tonight. I tried to prevent that and my reward was getting barked at by two of your rude employees Far better safety wise to have those trucks where you used to have them in front of the business to avoid all the one way., driving danger your current lay out is causing that's only an accident waiting to happen Your one "Do Not Enter" sign works on about 50% of the people driving into your establishment But maybe just keep letting all that wrong way traffic occur at the property until someone gets seriously hurt & let your employees feel free to bark at patrons trying to make sure they doesn't happen while they treat these same patrons like garbage & very disrespectfully Good grief read more

Grapes, Art, and Fall Vibes -- A Perfect Rhode Island Day Gooseneck Vineyards totally stole a "grape" piece of my heart! It was my first visit, and I happened to show up on a cool fall day for their last art event of the year -- basically, the vineyard equivalent of sweater weather magic. The place is absolutely charming! The outdoor seating areas are so cozy you'll want to move in, the food truckssmelled like happiness, and the big tent made everything feel festive and relaxed at the same time. I was impressed by all their wines (and might have fallen a little in love with a bottle or two). It's the perfect spot for a short day trip -- peaceful, scenic, and full of that good "Rhode Island charm." This is the perfect spot to stop for a drink on a beautiful day! They have tons of outdoor seating - you can choose from sitting at tables under a big tent or lounge outside in the sun in comfortable arm chairs. Gaze at the picturesque vineyard while you sip your wine. When we went they also had beer and cocktails made with wine. I had a delicious Aperol Spritz made with wine based aperol. It was lighter and fruiter than a regular Aperol Spritz. We went with a group of friends on a Sunday when they had live music. Get there early on a nice day because the place fills up! The winery has charcuterie boards and popcorn to snack on but not a full kitchen. They do have food trucks that rotate through so be sure to check their website to see what's scheduled. Staff was friendly and efficient. And though they were busy we never had to wait long. The inside is a repurposed old horse barn and they've done an amazing job of renovating the space. This charming winery is housed in a repurposed, historical barn with gorgeous grounds and a stunning interior. The spacious layout can accommodate large groups easily. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our Ambassador flight which was guided by our server who is a winemaker herself, June. I learned so much from her! We learned that they just planted grapes and will be harvesting them when they are ready so they can make their own white wines. My favorite wine is the Wickford White. It's a crisp white wine that would be perfect for the summertime. Tip: This place is located right where route 1 and route 4 converge. When heading down Route 4 south, there is not an easy way to get there. You have to drive by it approximately a mile before there is a legal turnaround to go North. On the way back from our dining adventure in Narragansett, we were passing by the new Gooseneck Vineyards tasting room. I said to hubby that I'd buy him a tasting & he zoomed into the parking lot. Space is gorgeous, staff was fun, dude singing & playing guitar was good, nice variety of food offerings from the Cranston-based food truck. But the tasting was $17 for 3. What?!?!?! I've done a lot of wine tastings over the years & that is really expensive! So we opted for a $13 glass - I went with the cranberry Aperol Spritz & hubby for a glass of red. We sat outside under the tent to listen to some live music. My aunt and I tried a flight of white wine. I really was only a fan of the Wickford White Portugal and switched to a beer after the wine flight. They also have some cocktails and nonalcoholic choices as well. Such a beautiful space! The tasting room itself is decorated beautifully, so inviting and cozy. We tried several of their wines, and they were all wonderful! We definitely preferred the wines at Gooseneck, over some of the other wineries in the state. During our trip, several locals that we spoke with recommended this winery over the others as well! The staff was so friendly, and if wine isn't your flavor, they had some super yummy wine cocktails available, which, were also SO cute, as well as a couple of beer options, too! They even had the coziest blankets available on the rainy day we visited, to cuddle up on the couches with. We could have stayed here all day and literally had to tear ourselves away! This would be such a beautiful spot for a private event, or birthday, or girls get together! We will absolutely be back on our next trip to RI! read more

They have very poor communication - in fact, they gave me 3 different emails to write to for their event coordinator and no one had ever responded. He was outgoing and really made us enjoy the experience, you can see his passion for wine. The wine was great my favorite was the Pinot noir! The ambience is perfect with fire pits and games outside. So we ordered from the pizza truck which was very expensive and had to tip & I had to walk out & get the pizza which was messy so we were they didn't allow food in from outside due to it being messy well the pizza was messy no one clean up our area I did. So I probably would go back for the ambience but I definitely wouldn't tip. It's like self serve !! We did enjoy our company. But also felt like I could do this in my backyard.
