As a local Winter Parker, I love coming to have cocktails or brunch at the Alfond Inn. It's a wonderful atmosphere on the Avenue. I've had several staycations here, spa days, brunch with family and friends and even attended a few weddings here. The staff is truly amazing, good and drinks are delicious and my favorite is the stunning and unique art work throughout the hotel. Hands down my favorite place, it's fabulous here.

Came to a birthday party on the upper level pool deck and it was amazing! Service is top tier, the food is divine, and the property is stunning.

Great little hotel in Winter Park. Decent rooms. Almost terrific. Great bar with great selection with great service. However, no bar food. None. You can order from the restaurant until 9 but we didn't want a steak dinner. Bar was jammed. People were door dashing in food. Fast food bags didn't help vibe. Huge lost opportunity. We got bags of chips from front desk. Offer sliders, fries, cheese, chips, wings, salsa, etc. People will stay longer and drink more. We also had brunch. There were more servers than guests when we arrived and had to go find a manager to get coffee and to take our order. After that it was fine. However, place filled up. Food was good. Frittata was excellent. Disappointed no lox and bagel on a hotel brunch menu. Overall, I would recommend. Best hotel in the area. A few more touches and they could raise prices. Great decor and art.

***** FIVE STARS all the way! The treats at the coffee/tea shop are elegant and unique. Wine Down Wednesdays are a hoot. Food is half off as well. What a wonderful place to work out of for a week visiting my local work studio. Walking distance a ton of shops and restaurants near by. Enjoy the top service and the excellent art throughout the hotel. The bar area has a fireplace, chessboards and a good bar area. Lots of seating throughout to find a spot with people having fun or a quiet nook to read for a while. The rooms have a lot of amenities, even an umbrella for the ones that didn't plan ahead for rain. Oh, and there is a spa! You can visit to enjoy a session or make a spa weekend out of it. I hear that is popular.

Everything almost car . I Car was parked overnight outdoor and was left with tree droppings . Please inform customers where you intend to park. I was told in would be in a garage .

We drove in from Tampa to attend a business function. We arrived at the hotel at 430 for a 6 pm dinner. Our room isn't ready, and they sent us to the lobby to wait. If they hadn't been so rude, it wouldn't be such a big deal. This is supposed to be high-end... it's not. Please read the reviews! They are aloof, and disrespectful. Room service is unresponsive and poor. Best of luck with this place. UPDATE: they comped our stay. They are having massive shortages of staff. It's a lovely hotel and a great place for weddings! We saw 2 weddings while there.

Although this beautiful property is under renovations, we have not been bothered or inconvenienced at all for our three day stay. This is a beautiful hotel and transports you to a previous time in Florida. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are up to date and well appointed. Great shower pressure. This hotel is basically an art gallery! Ever hall, nook and cranny has interesting original art! The Courtyard is peaceful and the gardens are well manicured. The pool is in the second floor and worth a visit. I wrote a review of my breakfast at the Hamilton m, in Short the best breakfast I have had in recent memory!

After visiting the Alfond Inn for previous events, we were so excited to book a stay for Easter weekend. The hotel itself is like an incredible museum mixed with an upscale getaway in the middle of Winter Park. Our room was so nice, it felt like such a luxurious experience and had wonderful finishings. We also had brunch for Easter and are looking forward to coming back for another stay!

If you don't follow your GPS like it's the voice of God, you'll drive past this place at least 10 times wondering if you're being pranked. Once you finally find it, though, you're in for a surprise. The hotel is attached to a magnificent steakhouse and gives off this classy vineyard-patio vibe that makes you feel like you're about to attend a wine tasting, even if you're just there for work like I was. Walking up, there are beautiful outdoor tables with glass tops where guests can relax, eat, and pretend they're important. Then you walk into the lobby and BAM dark wood floors, elegant furniture, comfortable sofas, and enough atmosphere to make you wonder, Wait what did I accidentally book? I was honestly concerned I'd somehow clicked the wrong hotel and was about to max out my credit card. Nope. Surprisingly affordable. The room? Fantastic. You've got a Keurig machine ready to fuel your caffeine addiction, a nice big TV, all the amenities you need, and then there's THE BED. Listen, I don't know if it's a pillow-top, a cloud-top, a Sleep Number, a NASA mattress, or if angels personally fluff it every afternoon, but that thing is dangerous. I laid down for what felt like five minutes and woke up the next morning. I slept harder than a newborn after a bottle. Now let's talk about room service. They have this little stand where you order directly from the steakhouse downstairs. I ordered dinner, expecting hotel prices that require a small bank loan. The bill was $35. I nearly called the front desk to report a pricing error. Meanwhile, I was hungrier than a hostage, and they delivered a meal fit for royalty. For a brief moment, I genuinely felt like a VIP. The hotel also has a nice bar for those who enjoy a drink. I don't drink, but if I did, I probably would've celebrated finally finding the entrance. Bottom line: great atmosphere, beautiful property, comfortable rooms, amazing food, affordable prices, and a mattress that may have supernatural powers. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Would I still need GPS to find it? Also absolutely.

I was assigned an ADA accessible room - not needed just what I was assigned and that was fine. When I entered, I noticed there was no shower curtain, I thought maybe that it on purpose although it would make quite a mess with the overhead shower and was probably a slip hazard. I figured I would have to use the handheld shower head and ask the next morning. It was late so I did not want to bother the staff. Water still went everywhere but I had extra towels available. The next day I asked the front desk if accessible rooms were supposed to have shower curtains and she said yes, I said Ok well mine does not. She asked for the room number but I explained I do not like people in the room when I am not there and would be back in a couple of hours. She still asked for my room, and I said again I will give it when I get back. When I returned... my room would not open. I had to try 4 times before it finally opened. The lock would turn green but the door would not budge. This happened the rest of the stay as well. I called down, and housekeeping was on my floor, so she came very quickly. I was told that this room should have a curtain and the housekeeping manager is supposed to check every room not sure how this was missed. This was a HUGE slipping hazard, especially if I actually needed the accessible room. I let the front desk know when I left that this was really disappointing and on top of this the "refrigerator" in the room did not cool anything. I had some ice packs with me that helped me keep the water cool the first night but by the second night they were no longer cooling either. The Hampton Inn rooms are usually quite spacious with a long desk and spacious bathroom. This was not it. tiny desk in the corner. The area, is easily accessible, there are tons of restaurants minutes from Marketplace at Altamonte Springs and the Altamonte Springs mall. There is a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House just behind and across the street from the hotel. There are also other hotels to choose from... All in all, I would probably find a different Hampton Inn property or a different hotel brand next time.. Do better.
