The best ice cream in the world! Or frozen custard, or concrete, or whatever it is. I last had a Razzle Dazzle from Sheridan's at another location about 14 years before and had remembered it. When I started to travel to Missouri again, I asked about that Sheridan's and it was closed, so my boyfriend drove me to Liberty to this Sheridan's to get my Razzle Dazzle. You know how they say you can never go back in time? This magical bowl of perfect frozen deliciousness was exactly as I remembered it. As I sat there in the parking lot on the back of my guy's pick up truck as we were eating our ice cream, I felt like we were on our first date. We watched families and couples come and go getting their ice cream, doggies at their heels wagging their tails, you couldn't help but smile. Americana is alive and well at Sheridan's. I cannot describe how different the ice cream is to those you get in Los Angeles. It's just different. Thick and creamy.. quality. The hot fudge is so good too. There is something about that Razzle Dazzle... I'm dazzled and have visions of ice cream in my eyes all the way from Downtown Los Angeles. I cannot wait to go back and get another!

One of the best chain ice cream restaurants I've ever been to! I absolutely love frozen custard. It's so creamy! Just had their salted caramel brownie sundae! If you ask, they will add whipped cream for you which makes it extra delicious! They have several amazing concretes not advertised like the choco nut joy and my personal favorite the lemon lush! If you haven't had it yet, next summer you certainly must!!!

I just ordered a turtle Sunday. I was charged over 6.00 dollars and they gave me a teaspoon of Carmel and chocolate.i won't be coming here again. They have really gone down hill.

I've tried their pumpkin pie custard and it has too much sugar, wondering if their other custards have too much sugar.

This place gets 5 stars just for the wedding cake concrete. Please build one of these in California.

Poor staff member was all alone in the back taking orders from big parties, call-in orders, and app orders. He was working non-stop and I don't think that is a great thing about this place, since from the looks of it they can afford to hire more workers given the steady stream of customers (sometimes not so steady and sometimes just heavy). But the ice cream is freshly made and everything tastes as it should -- strawberry ice cream tastes like fresh strawberries, flavors are super creative, and the sundaes have a mix of the flavors with special toppings like nuts and cream. The place also has little games to keep the kids busy and just a nice variety of ice cream, boba, shakes, and drinks. Overall, we can see why our family highly recommended this place to us and why it's a staple in the area. The ice cream is amazing!

I got a regular, which was two scoops and the girl behind the counter let me try as many flavors to figure out what I wanted. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend!

Betty Rae's has long been a local favorite for handcrafted, small-batch ice cream, with plenty of…read morenational recognition along the way. So I'm surprised it took me this long to write a review. We stopped by the River Market location last night, and one of the quickest ways to judge a place is simply to look around. There was a line of people waiting to get in and others lingering outside, happily working their way through whatever they had just ordered. That's usually a pretty good sign. A few years ago, Betty Rae's closed its shops, and there was real concern that the brand might disappear for good. Then Matt Shatto of Shatto Milk Company rode in on the proverbial white horse, revived the brand and began expanding it again. I clearly need a few more visits to work my way through the flavor options. When you first walk in, you'll see wooden blocks displaying flavors. Those are just some of the classics that are always available. The big menu behind the freezer cases is where the real decision-making begins. And if you can't decide, the staff is more than happy to let you sample your way through the case. As someone who considers chocolate chip cookies and cookie dough their own food groups, I went with the Cookie Dough. What stood out most was the texture. It was incredibly rich, dense and creamy, almost closer to frozen custard than traditional ice cream. My niece, who is a far more experienced Betty Rae's customer, swears by the Lavender and Caramel combination. I'm not sure I would have ever put those two together, which is probably another reason I need to go back. And Betty Rae's is about more than what's in the cup. The River Market shop has a comfortable, funky personality that fits the neighborhood perfectly. The servers were exceptionally friendly, and even the music is part of the experience. You can find their playlist on Spotify. Great ice cream. Fun place. Terrific people. And apparently, I have a lot more flavors to try.

One note: the photobooth in the back is advertised as B&W but it's actually color lol

My husband and I love eating at farm to table restaurants. After finding this place online, we…read moredecided to try it for lunch. The restaurant is very cozy and rustic. The employees were friendly. We both ordered the lamb burger, which consists of two smashed lamb patties, homemade pickles, American cheese, caramelized onions, and mayo on a buttery potato bun. For our sides, we ordered the macaroni and cheese. One downside is there aren't very many drink options to choose from. I'll start with the burger. My burger was greasy. The smashed patties tasted burnt and, on the patty's edges, were crispy, black...I don't know what to call them, but they tasted like the leftover bits from the grill. When I tried my husband's burger, his tasted better and, for the first time in our married life, I asked if we could trade. The macaroni and cheese is spiral pasta with white cheddar sauce and sprinkled with shredded Parmesan. It was okay, but definitely needed seasoning. When we got home, we both had upset stomachs, which were enough to say we won't be returning.

Came in for my normal start of spring trip after…read morejust being here in late fall, and the whole inside is different (less retail, more space) and several new kitchen remodel upgrades. It looks clean but isn't the same home-y spot we all loved. The kicker, though, is they changed the menu boards which now don't tell you what things are and they've like everyone else increased prices of normal items, including items that used to be included. Sandwiches used to come with chips, and now sandwiches are more and the small single size of chips are $4! Apparently they didn't read PepsiCo just missed a billion dollars in sales because they keep raising prices on Doritos. I can see add-ons for high quality products like soup, specialty fries, etc. I also know GDFC has expanded into KC, and I've been and spent healthy money at that luxury spot several times. But c'mon, this is just ludicrous charges at this point. When I realized the chip change, I asked for a refund of those alone, and the new sales terminal system took forever for multiple people to figure out. The manager on duty had to ultimately refund the whole thing, and reorder my entire order, meaning it's now cost all of us money in time. The staff is completely different - there's a chef in the back wearing a white coat like it's fine dining... the rest of the staff is friendly enough, but also not the same level of home we all got used to for many years. My sandwich finally came out, and it looks nothing like what we used to get - the Cuban is on a hoagie style roll. Not even that good anymore. No more winery inside, and limited drink options overall. And no more fresh ice cream, just overpriced "soft serve." I know we're in times that are a'changin... but some of it has gone too far. Hopefully they keep the same level of loyal business I imagine they had before. My loyalty has definitely shifted instantly to once in a while, if that.
