*SUGAR FREE ICE CREAM AVAILABLE HERE YAAAY!*I got to know about Alice Coopers and their delicious ice creams during the Yelp Halloween party. However, the main thing that caught my immediate interest was their sugarfree/keto ice cream (they have one flavor a month) because I'm a diabetic and always on the lookout for sweets with no sugar, and Alice Coopers is honestly one of the very few places in the metro that offers it. Also, my husband is a hardcore rock music lover and so am I (because of him haha), so just hearing the name of the shop already had us excited. It's obviously named after the famous hard rock singer, and the minute we walked in few days back, we loved the whole hard rock band theme around the shop. They have themed Sundaes like Slipknot Sundae, Metallica Sundae and many of the ice cream flavors are named after famous songs. That was a total win for both of us. We instantly became huge fans and will definitely come back to Alice Coopers for our ice cream cravingssss going forward. During this first visit of ours we tried their keto icecream. The flavor of the month was called 'Pecan Sticky Bun' and I got mine with a low-sugar ice cream cone and my husband got the same flavor but as a shake, topped with cream and a cherry. Heyyyy, what else do you need in lifeeee? I was genuinely so happy that I could enjoy ice cream guilt free for once. The shop itself was very cute and decorated with Christmas items. There was an electric fireplace and a small seating area next to a graffiti wall. The ice creams were neatly displayed and the shop overall was very clean and well maintained. The service was good too, and the prices were reasonable. One scoop in a low sugar cone along with a regular size shake came to around $13+. The shop is located inside the beautiful Briarcliff Mall, and the surrounding area is lovely with so many great shops. Grabbing an ice cream here and taking a stroll around the mall afterward honestly feels like the perfect way to end an evening.

Yum yum yum!!! I am always surprised by the creative flavor combinations!!! The cones are made fresh! Portions are large ( that is a single!!) and it smells fabulous inside!

Fantastic local, woman-owned shop with really fun made-from-scratch flavors! We live in the neighborhood and come here all the time. Our faves include the double stuffed Oreo, banana pudding and a rotating cast of cheesecake flavors! Their vegan/GF sorbets are also to die for. Service can be a little slow but it's a bunch of friendly teenagers, so they get a pass! They also do sundaes, shakes and boba.

I love a lot of spots around the metro, but let's be honest, some of them get crazy busy and you end up waiting in line for a while. That's not a dealbreaker, but with a summer of social distancing, it's nice to have a spot like Annedore's that is tucked into the neighborhoods, has outdoor seating, and is never too busy. Their gelato is so good, and the service is friendly as it gets. We've made a tradition of walking up here as a family once a week, and together we've ordered or sampled: Cookies & Cream, Birthday Cake, Mint Chip, Chocolate Chip, Coconut, Strawberry, Berry Sorbet, Vanilla, and Lemon Basil. All are great (not crazy about the birthday cake one my kiddo always gets), the Berry Sorbet and Lemon Basil are standouts on a hot day. Their portions are generous, prices are very fair, the outdoor seating is great, and it's a very clean shop. Oh, and I recently discovered that macarons are delicious, and theirs are some of the best around. They're around $2.50 a pop and well worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough for gelato, macarons, and of course chocolate if that's your thing. Want to skip lines for ice cream (well, gelato) this summer and still support local? This is your spot. Bookmark it!

We FINALLY moseyed our way into Hey Sugar today and we were not disappointed! Right off the top,…read moreyou can see from the outside that it's going to be adorable...it's hot pink and aesthetic to the max! But then you walk in and to call it charmingly sweet is an understatement. We came in specifically for an ice cream cone on a hot summer day but if you are in search of hard to find or unique candy, this is a good place to stop in as they have selections from all over the world! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out they stock ice cream from One More Scoop which is always a favorite in our house! Although it was a difficult decision after some sampling, I went with the Gooey Butter Cake ice cream on a sugar cone and my forever date chose the coconut cream pie ice cream in a cup. SO MUCH YUM! If you find yourself in the area, please stop in to Hey Sugar! They are delicious, kind and the vibe is totally spot on. (Special shout out to the beverage drinking bovine on the wall...so cute!)

We popped in for ice cream, of which they had dozens of incredible flavors (which they were extremely generous in sampling out!), but they also have sweets and treats of so many other varieties! Candy, shakes, Italian sodas, shaved ice, dippin dots, and agua frescas, at the very least! Suffice to say, there's countless ways to earn your cavities here! ...and you'll love every second of it! The young lady working the counter on our visit was super kind and helpful, and her ice cream-scooping prowess was outstanding! There are a few tables to sit and enjoy your delectable sweets, as you admire all the different candy and treats you can purchase to take along with you! Hey Sugar shot to the top of our list to visit any time we have a sweet tooth in this part of town!
