Within the first two weeks of the first treatment I started seeing clearing and continued seeing additional clearing through the treatment process. It takes a few months after the final (third) treatment for full effects to take place, but I'm already so happy with the results. Do not let this fool you, he has many years of experience. Kelsie was also present during my in-person consult which I appreciated. Dr. M was professional , realistic and also provided great feedback of how to reduce surgical risks and complications. BMI needs to be under 30, ideally. We then discussed using GLP-1 products to get my weight down. The more I lose, the better. He stressed the importance on safest patient outcomes and achieving the desired look the first time around. He has seen many people come in thinking they are going to look one way after surgery, however, it is not a realistic expectation. He tries to explain through this with each consult to prevent any unrealistic expectations post surgery. I had two particular questions about 1) can other procedures be done with a tummy tuck and 2) why do some women still have a pouch like appearance after a tummy tuck. He patiently and thoroughly explained the difference between subQ fat and visceral fat, and the areas near major organs that he would not be able to lipo due to safety considerations. This is the reason why it is important to get the BMI below 30 so I do not have to do a re-do in the future. The quote I received was higher than 2 other consults I had but it is definitely a more well rounded approach to address mid trunk problem areas.
