I really love Sher's clothing. However, in extremely disappointed in the fact that they have limited plus sized clothing. it's like when you walk in, your directed to a few little racks of none of the very cute things offered in the other sizes. and to top it off, I was a little offended when I walked in and the lady saw what size I was and took me over to the large lady clothing. in todays times with America struggling with obesity , you'd think they'd try to accommodate more of us. A hidden gem! This place is filled with bedazzle and sparkle. I didn't know where to start. The store was filled with clothes I was not used to (I'm a jeans and sweatshirt type of gal. Classy, I know). But I had to channel my mother's voice, "Please just try it on. You won't know if you really like it until you do." Ok, so she was right. I found some really cute things that I figured I'd never be caught dead in. Everything was 50% off. I think that's a great marketing tool, because my arms were overflowing with items. My sister was in town from Michigan and we went to the 99th Ave location just before 4:30. The staff that was there on Monday, 3/21/2022 was not happy that there were multiple customers entering around this time. I usually work with a fabulous sales associate when I go to this location, but unfortunately she was not there on Monday. The three women working were more concerned about vacuuming, bringing the racks in from out front, than the clients. I had about 6 shirts I planned to purchase but needed a different size. No help, they just watched me struggle with finding them. My sister gave up completely because the sales associate pretending to help her made her feel guilty she was there. We NEVER have this problem with my regular sales associate at this location or at the Bell Rd location where all of the staff are always very helpful and fun to work with while shopping. If they don't want customers coming in a half hour before closing, lock the doors. There were at least 2 other groups of customers that were helpless. LOVE the merchandise but really made to feel like we were a MAJOR imposition, I'll only shop 99th Ave if my associate is there in the future, I feel horrible that I don't know her name as she even helps us find things that look great on us that we may have missed. The 99th Ave store isn't organized as well, but it's an outlet and we understand. Will be sticking to the Bell store where I don't feel like an inconvenience. This isn't the first time at the 99th Ave store where the associates are visiting with each other or avoiding the customers. I was embarrassed to have taken my sister there. This is the 2nd location, for this family owned business. The selection of tops and bottoms, , for comfortable, pretty, easy care clothes is wonderful ! The prices are outstanding- never leave without SEVERAL new items , each visit and am always amazed how affordable they are. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This store has cute stuff but it is not at wholesale price, the cheap fabric of the Merchandise would never cost that much!! They prey on the elderly by ripping them off! And, the store and clothing reeks of Patchouly oil...yuck, you feel as if you drank it!!!! Let me also mention the man behind the counter; he is so rude and arrogant, plus he thinks he's the cat's meow! BARF!! I had a floor clerk tell me I could exchange the shirt if it wasn't right but when I took it back the NEXT day the creepy man behind the counter said, "we don't allow exchanges read the bottom of the receipt!!" I thought to myself if this is their policy then they should VERBALLY state to EVERY customer that walks up to pay the creepy man at the register "ALL SALES are FINAL, no exchanges are allowed!" I have shopped at Sher's for many years. I do like the help from the staff on the floor and they are very friendly. However, the Man, not sure if he is the owner,behind the counter is full of himself. Sometimes I see him looking in the mirror and combing his hair. Also not very friendly!!! I bought 3 items and came home to see that I had a 4th item in my bag that I had paid for. I had told the store clerk that I only wanted the 3 items. I took the top back to the store and told The Man what had happened; he looked at the receipt and said "look what the receipt says! No returns, only exchanges". I explained, that I did not want that item and had told the girls before I had them put on the counter to purchase. At this point, I realized he was not going to back down, I made my exchange and will never return to the store again. Too bad because I like the merchandise, not The Man (owner)! read more

I just had the most unnerving experience at Sher's. I had purchased a purse there a few weeks back and brought it in to show the clerk who is an older man. I began shopping and was about to purchase over $80 worth of clothing and a new purse when he began speaking to me like I was a naughty child. He told me he needed my receipt and when I didn't have it (I wasn't asking for a refund) he became very mean spirited and I told him that he was the reason I quit shopping there the first time he said to me "are you threatening me?" I looked at him and said "what are you talking about?" He then told me to leave and handed me my card back. I never once said anything threatening to him or spoke to him in any mean way. I got my credit card back and left. The lady that helped me with clothes was awesome but he is a jackass. Until he is gone, they will not get any more of my business. read more

I had the unfortunate displeasure of meeting the owner. I went Into the shop to return one of those magnetic credit card cases Because it was falling apart. He was very nice about it and gave me a brand new case. I started looking at the masks and picked one out. I didn't buy anything so I was going to use my $10 gift card toward the mask. He practically threw the mask at me and said to get out of his store and to never come back. And to keep the mask.. How embarrassing for me. As I was leaving the sales lady told me he acted that way since I didn't buy anything. I am a single woman who lives on Social security. 1st of all they mark everything up really high and they take 50% off of it and you are actually paying more for the item then you should be in a department store. I will not be returning to the store ever again. And I will let people know how I was treated by this man. Totally disrespectful!! read more
