This store is fantastic and every time I've gone in, I've had nothing but fantastic customer service. Most recently, I was trying to match a color that I had purchased at Home Depot years ago, and I called the store to try to see if it was something they could do. The woman on the phone was so friendly and helpful, and when we went in she already had swatches to show us! She talked us through all the options, gave us multiple price options and did it all with a positive attitude. Sharina the store manager has some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. So much so, when we left, my kids made a comment about how friendly she was. Sigh, what is up with all these negative reviews?? We have visited half a dozen times and each encounter with multiple employees has always been extremely positive. They make sure to give us the best deals or notify when upcoming sales are on the agenda. We bought some scaffolding that they were more than happy to try and load into our car. When they didn't fit, they happily held onto them until we could come back with a truck. Their premium paint really is better than the Home Depot equivalent (even though it's more $$). We're happy to keep shopping at the Tutt Sherwin-Williams for our paint needs. read more

I am currently painting a house for a customer who requested to use Sherwin-Williams. I have been painting for 18 years and I do not use Sherwin-Williams for this reason. They charge $100 for a stupid gallon of paint that they say will cover anything in two coats and I told the customer it will not cover a darker brown in two coats if you're using white which is what we're painting the walls with now. They swore to this lady that it will for sure cover in two coats, and I, the painter, must be using the wrong rollers and roller covers, and they swear that it would work with the roller covers that they made her buy. Now I have put two thick coats on the wall to show the customer that they are lying which they did because it still did not cover in two coats. I told the customer that we must prime it first and then put two coats because that's the best way to paint white over a darker colors. They tried to convince her that I was doing it wrong and that we do not need to prime first because their paint is so immaculate and it will cover anything in two coats. Sherwin-Williams sucks their paint is overpriced and horrible. It is the same quality as Benjamin Moore or any other paint you want to use but they charge 2 to 3 times the price. I can go get a gallon of Benjamin Moore paint for $26 at Steve's paint supply and it would still take only one coat of primer and two coats of paint to cover brown with white. If I was using a dark color over another dark color it would only take two coats just like Sherwin-Williams paint takes two coats because we also painted a dark green color over dark brown as well and it did cover in two coats because that is normal. Do not use Sherwin-Williams they are overpriced and they do not have a better quality paint it is the same as anywhere else unless you buy cheap paint. I want to stress again do not use Sherwin-Williams paint they are overpriced and their paint is no better than any other paint unless you're buying cheap crappy paint. The workers at the store who have probably never painted a day in their life come in trained to lie and stick to a script and make customers like mine believe that if they buy their overpriced paint it is the best option on the market but in reality they are unprofessional, lying, theifing, con artists. Please take my advice and never buy Sherwin-Williams, go to a local paint supply store like Steve's Paint Supply and get paint that is just as good at a third of the cost. Also every other paint tool and supply is also at least half the price at Steve's as well. Shame on you Sherwin-Williams. SHAME!!!! read more

Just moving into a new home, we have been buying a lot of home improvement equipment, paint, etc, and I have enjoyed all of my interactions here (which I cannot say about the big box stores). I am confused by all the negative reviews on here as every employee I have seen and dealt with has gone above and beyond for me in making sure I get all the discounts available. Thank you! read more

Today I was told that they could not sell me a quart of paint, since they could NOT make any money on it! That is such BS, and HORRIBLE customer service! They didn't even have the gallon in stock, when I told them that I have been using this paint to touch up trim in house and they didn't have a quart or gallon, and it wasn't even a custom mix! Bad customer service. Matt has had really bad service since yesterday, we came up today asked him for 2 single cans and he said they didn't have them. We understood but he grabbed the phone stayed on it making us wait, My mom told me to call the Dublin store and they were very nice. I had an issue with some primer and in my online survey commented on the issue. Adam literally immediately sent me an email asking how he could help and offered a couple of solutions. When we went to the store to exchange the paint he was busy but he had made certain the staff knew I was coming in and quickly mixed the new paint and I was on my way. I was impressed with his acknowledgement of the issue, how quickly he contacted me and the solutions he offered. He understands customer service. If some of the clerks in the store weren't quite sure what it meant, I hope my experience provides a good teaching moment for his crew! I will be back. read more

Painted the walls in our kitchen a dark color. I got all 4 cans of paint from this store and went in for 1 more. The gentleman at the counter grabbed the can, mixed the paint and sent me on my way. I got home and opened it to realize it wasn't even close to what we had been using previously. I tried to return the paint or exchange it for the correct one and was told they can't return or exchange tinted paint. Another guy came over (the one who tinted the paint earlier) and said, oh yea when you came in we didn't have a dark enough base in stock for that paint so I just picked a different one, we still can't return or exchange it though. I left with my wrong $60 can of paint, went to another store where they gladly fixed the issue for me. I tried to call the number for Sherwin Williams and couldn't get passed the automated messages. read more

My wife stopped by to find out where to dispose of paint and they told her to bring it. I loaded up about 30 samples of paint and headed over. They would not take more than 5 gal or 5 containers. I asked where I could take it and they did not know. Clearly from their attitude it was obvious they did not care. I went to Home Depot, and while they don't recycle, they pulled out a brochure with all the info including the address, phone, and hours. And explained the Colorado system for taxing paint and providing disposal. Clearly this company and its employees are happy to sell you paint, but all help and care ends at the taking of your money. read more

There are some really great things about this place, and some not so great. We'll start with THE GOOD: 1. Customer Service - Amazing 5 stars! The management down to the floor help have always been very courteous, attentive, and gone out of their way to help. 2. Paint Quality - everyone knows that Sherwin is top notch paint. THE BAD: 1. Price - We NEVER shop here unless it's one of their 40% off sale weekends. Without that deep discount, there's no way I could justify $45-$60 for a gallon of paint. That kind of mark-up is unreal, and I hope that their price adjusts to a more reasonable level, and soon. Otherwise my business with them will be seldom at best. 2. Advice - We've had some color matching 'advice' from a few of the associates, and generally found they were based on their own opinions rather than our desires. Moral of the story - our master bedroom is getting it's 3rd color because the first 2 rounds were misled. read more

Can't match paint even with a sample. Employees are young and seriously incompetent. If I hadn't painted my whole house with their paint I'd switch to a new brand. Go to a different location if you need specific help. read more

Friendly and helpful. I needed a paint match for some patch work in my house. I didn't want to repaint the entire room. They were able to get me a paint that is an exact match. You cannot tell where I touched up the walls and ceiling. That saves me a lot of extra painting which saved me a ton of time and money. read more

Many thanks to David and his mngr Jesse. With their help they matched my wall color perfectly. The paint practically matched even when wet. now after just 30 minutes I can't tell where I painted. Both David and Jesse has great customer relation skills and know their job well. Sherwin-Williams has done something that lowes and Home Depot couldn't do. read more
