The paint color was provided to me by the builder, and Paint Spot had the paint info and colors for my home saved in their computer system. After getting the paint home and applying a coat, it was obvious that the color was completely off. I'm not upset about that, mistakes happen. What I am upset about is calling them to explain, and being told in the rudest possible way that the paint didn't match because my home either had extensive UV damage, or the builder mixed paints together incorrectly when they did my walls. I asked to speak to the manager, Mike, and I was SHOCKED at the way he spoke to me. He barely let me speak as he cut me off, and then insisted again that my home had UV damage or it was the builder's mistake. Luckily, I found some leftover paint in the basement and tried it out. Perfect match, UV damage and all. So I drove back, got the paint matched, and listened to Mike go off again about how "it's not our fault." That might be true, but the way he handled this situation was so completely belligerent and out of line. He literally told me he didn't care if I posted a bad review because "this happens all the time." No idea how this loose cannon got promoted to manager.

Unfortunately, they did not have the gel version (I prefer) at this site for the colors and brand I needed. The guys working on the Saturday I went in were so helpful. They offered to order it and deliver! Or, which is what we ended up doing, we just switched to another brand I like and they let me test several colors to get the right shade. So helpful! Most recently, I was trying to match a color that I had purchased at Home Depot years ago, and I called the store to try to see if it was something they could do. The woman on the phone was so friendly and helpful, and when we went in she already had swatches to show us! She talked us through all the options, gave us multiple price options and did it all with a positive attitude. Sharina the store manager has some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. So much so, when we left, my kids made a comment about how friendly she was. I will keep going back to this store for all my paint needs.

On 7/15 I sent some employees into the shop to get paint for a commercial job down in Colorado Springs and they left thinking they were going to receive our company discount as well as the going discount at the time. The manager at the facility Matt told his employee Tyler to make sure that the paint was delivered by the following morning and to charge us and incorporate the discount into the price. The next morning we received the paint along with a bill for 2x what we were told we were to be charged. After time spent on the phone with Matt he stated that he couldn't give us a discount because we weren't eligible and the employees don't even receive the discount that my company receives so he would not honor it. 1)Its unfortunate his employees do not receive a decent discount but maybe they don't spend $100,000 in paint a year, 2) You gave us a price you told your employee to bill us for the $300+ and then without any notice you deliver the paint at over $600 and expect us to pay. Instead of honoring the price he quoted us he took back the paint. This is a training and integrity issue. We will not be buying paint from Sherwin WIlliams in the state of Colorado any longer. Again maybe Matt needs some training on what it means to be a manager.

I showed Rebecca my fabric and wallpaper swatches. In no time she had picked out a color for my walls and another for my cabinets. She explained her thinking as she showed me how those paints picked up colors and brought out colors in my swatches. She showed me why some other paints wouldn't be as effective. I was just delighted. "Thrilled" is really the right word. All my hopes and dreams for my interior design came together on Rebecca's work table.
