Called in the order. Our painter could get us the paint at his discounted price so I called the…read morestore to see what the current sale price would be. Twice I verified that I was calling about Emerald Designer latex paint in an eggshell finish. Was given a price lower than my painters so I told him I'd get the paint. Called the store to order the paint and again verified that it was the Emerald designer in eggshell. Had 2 gallons and even on sale it is not cheap. Picked it up the next day and I didn't see the word designer on the can but they assured me that is the way the label looks now. Paint job didn't start for a couple weeks and when it did, I thought the finish appeared to shiny; discovered it was satin and it was NOT designer at all just regular Emerald. The paint crew had no knowledge that it was supposed to be different so they painted almost full gallon of it. Stuck getting an additional gallon now in that same type and finish because the morons at this store are either liars or just don't give 2 shits; maybe a little of both. I also was totally ignored when I first walked into store. Just stood at counter while 2 different guys walked past me multiple times. Going to get next gallon at the store out on 14. Do not order paint from the people at the 24/14 store. horrible awful lazy people.

They are in a convenient location with a parking lot that gives access when travelling north on Wayne Street or either way off of Harcourt Road. The store itself is large, modern, and well organized. The staff is knowledgable, friendly, and able to both make recommendations and give advice. The only issue you may have here is they generally have a small staff so you might have to wait a little bit if their are more than two or three people store at the same time. Sherwin-Williams prices are a little on the high side, but they offer high quality paint and accesories. They also have a generous rewards program with frequent specials for members that can save you a considerable amount of money. I have no problem recommending Sherwin-Williams to anyone living or working in northeast Indiana or the tristate area.
