This is one of the only businesses I know of that carries other brands of paint along with the Benjamin Moore brand. Most of the others tend to have signed an exclusivity clause with BM, which means you're pretty much stuck with what they're giving you. Myself, I like a choice. The staff is far more knowledgeable and patient than the folks at the big-box stores. They are super friendly, and they really take the time to help you. They have high quality products at competitive prices. I love the fact that they carry zero-VOC paint. The big-box stores claim to have this, but if you read the labels, you'll find that it is really low-VOC paint. Not the same thing....still contains carcinogens. Another thing I like about Lloyd's is the fact that they keep a record of the paints you purchased and what room you were painting at the time. So when your kid draws on the walls or you accidentally ding the wall while moving furniture, you can just go back to Lloyd's, and they'll mix up a bucket of the same color. Three cheers for Lloyd's! My family has been visiting them my whole life, and we're never disappointed.

One of those blinds failed in the very first summer we owned it. Since then, the company has been out to "repair" the same blind at least ten times. At one point, they shipped it back to Hunter Douglas, leaving us without a window treatment for two of the three months we actually live in the townhome each year. Despite the repeated failures, they have refused to replace the defective blind. Instead, they continue to send technicians out for the same problem, and after year 1 they charge us a service fee every single time. We have pleaded with them to stand behind their product and provide a replacement, but they clearly care more about billing for service calls than actually solving the issue. Their service approach can only be described as "we don't care about our customers." If you are considering using this company, my advice is simple: stay away.

Installation was easy to schedule, quick and convenient. They removed the old shades and cleaned up afterwards. It's been over a year since the blinds were installed. I was serviced by Anthony who was very personable, patient and knowledgeable about products and the paint palettes. My situation was very tricky because one portion of the basement has blacked out ceilings and the other has a standard white drywall ceiling. It was important that the correct hue of gray was picked to ensure that the space remained welcoming and not industrial. Anthony educated me on warm hues vs. cool hues as well as which hues gave off green, blue or purple. I've shopped at this location for over 10 years and I've never encountered an associate this knowledgeable about his craft. I look forward to visiting this store for all of my paint projects.
