Since all Miller locations work together it was super easy to have products sent to the location of our choice. The staff at this location had over 80 gallons of our coating put aside and ready. The additive was needed because my house, with cedar siding, had only been painted with some wierd kind of chalky primer that left white dusty marks on my clothes whenever I'd brushed up against it. Every autumn I do a bit of touch up to a few small spots that have accrued over the year. The color still matches (hasn't faded). I'm pleasantly surprised how long this paint job has lasted! I've gone back to this shop for advice and products for a variety of smaller projects in the meantime and have had similarly positive results.

The store is fun and has just about everything you would need in a pinch. Customer service is awesome, the young person helps load all these bags of product into my SUV and when I tried to give him a tip, he refused, saying they don't except tips. Do…read moreIt Best Hardware has a few locations in the Portland area but they're nowhere as big as Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc. They're literally nowhere as big as well. These are pretty small stores, yet they somehow managed to fit in almost everything I've ever looked for. It does feel crowded, and the aisles are quite narrow, so perhaps that's their secret. The staff has been hit or miss in terms of how knowledgeable they are about projects, but they've all been very friendly. Street parking only. Dog friendly.
