The last trip I made was with a really nice woman who was so kind to help change the paint I'd bought to match more exact to the color I already had on my walls. I had brought a sample and she even took the time to dry a piece to make sure it matched. Some of the other staff here just haven't been super friendly and don't even smile. The color choices are endless and they have really cool sticker samples of some of the more staple colors. Genius! Whether is paint or supplies they have you covered. Keep an eye out for sales because Sherwin is definitely not cheap. Service isn't always the best but regardless I love their paint quality. I am hoping to see some of the staff improve. Just a smile could go a long way!

The Clerk asked for the credit card information. Later on I asked my painter to pick up the paint since I had a doctors appointment. He did. But they charged the painter, even asking for MY last name. I was surprised and just checked my AE to make sure I was not charged. WELL, THEY DID CHARGE ME AND THE PAINTER. After I talked to the manager she said for the painter to bring the receipt by and they will give him his money back. But I told them, that is not an option because the poor guy already did me a favor by picking up the paint. Now it seems that they cannot give me credit on my credit card without having the physical card. Well, they charged me manually because they did not have my card at hand either. And because my husband just had surgery I cannot go over there. So, now they want to mail me a check, which can take up to 5 days with USPS!!! and another 3 business days to clear. Go to a different store and avoid this one. Apparently, they are not qualified to handle orders the right way.

I was worried at first that they wouldn't have many options for wallpaper, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw they have over 30 wallpaper books to look through. The staff was so helpful when we mentioned we were looking for something floral, and made sure we had bookmarks to use to help when deciding between books. They also helped pull a few books they thought could have what we were looking for. When it came down to ordering, the process was super simple and took less than 5 min to get the order in and pay. The wallpaper arrived to the store within a week, and I was notified by phone when it was ready for pick up. I will definitely come back for any future flooring, painting, or wallpaper needs!

We actually chose to order from them despite the slightly more expensive price tag for what we perceived to be a greater level of customer service. We went to the Cumming location because of it's proximity to us. We ordered the tile - first, nobody called to tell us it was in. Everyone pointed fingers at the other person. Secondly, they had neglected to tell us AT ANY POINT that this had to be picked up from their Johns Creek location. As we had to make 2 trips due to the amount of tile, we would have ordered from another store for this reason. (In traffic, the difference between the two locations added about 2 additional hours roundtip x 2 visits) In any other project, we have easily been able to return unopened or defective product. Not only would Gregory's not take back tile that was warped and discolored, they refused to take back 4 boxes of unopened tile. The invoice indicated that tinted paint is non-returnable but makes no mention of tile being refused.

The store has tons of paint choices, and even faux collections that you can decorate your walls with. The choices are endless, and painting is a great, not too expensive way to dress up your walls and change the look of a room. Right now, they are offering a 30% discount on paint, so it's even more a reason to buy. They also sell all the supplies you would ever need to get the job done. It's a time consuming process, but the staff there really made it a positive experience for us. I'll definitely be back for more!

Went to return a Sthil attachment to S&S Ace Hardware in Buford. The part was not what we needed…read morebut the salesman continued to procrastinate by trying to sell us other components but we just wanted to get a refund. We ordered the part on-line from a store in Pensacola FL and hoped any Ace/Sthil dealer would refund our purchase. After listening to his continuing sales pitch we again asked for a refund on the unused item in the original box and our receipt. He finally said "I'll have to ask my manager". He came back stating they would not take the item and it was "obsolete". We purchased the item 32 days ago! We called the store in Pensacola and were told there would be no issue in refunding the purchase. This is the true statement of "No customer service, service. This store in Buford has changed based on our years of shopping this location and this salesman was very Kurt.! Just plain rude!!

The manufacturer from Amazon sent screws too short to mount my protection lens over my ALABAMA front plate. Paul quickly found the Metric 5 screws a half inch longer to give me the depth I needed to mount the lens. Ace is famous for having the "Helpful Hardware Folks". It's just nice to know they have people like Paul that lives up to the name. Thanks so much!
