I am a professional painter and cabinet maker. I use Benjamin Moore products almost exclusively. So I came across Gregory's when I was doing a job in Duluth. The experience: Most paint stores are run by a guy who smells like cigarettes and look like they used their counters to test paint samples. Not here. You are greeted by a smile in a well decorated, well lit store. Everything is clean, organized, and fairly priced. They sell paint, tile, hardwoods, and carpeting. The experts: Roy behind the counter has a better eye for color than any computer. He once matched a paint to faded siding. He nailed it so well I could have used it to touch up the house. Rebecca offers her services as a color specialist and design consultant. My customers love the color palettes she chooses and her modest fee is refunded when you purchase the paint from the store. One of my customers used her to pick tile for her bathroom and Rebecca coordinated everything from the delivery through hiring installers and follow-up. The products: They carry the full line of Ben Moore products, as well as, Pratt & Lambert, Ralph Lauren, Coronado, and Shaw Carpets and flooring. I love coming into this store!! Gregory's Paint & Flooring has the greatest customer service of any paint/floor store in Georgia. All the staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have been helping me decorate and chose colors for my home for years! The other day, my daughter arrived at the store 10 minutes after they closed to pick up 1 can of paint. I texted Rebecca to see if anyone was still inside. She had already left, heading to visit a client, and was about 10 minutes away. She said she could come back, but I told her not to worry about it. She insisted and actually turned around and drove back to the store to give me 1 can of paint!! I don't know of anyone that gives that kind of customer service. We began our relationship with Gregory's by going there to pick out paint colors. I had received a brochure with their ad which had a beautiful palette in it, and we stopped by to pick up some paint samples. That started a wonderful relationship with several people at the store. Kate and Alex worked with me, very patiently, as I decided not only on paint, but to buy carpet from them, also. They were professional and extremely knowledgeable in decorator expertise to help me put it all together. I am extremely pleased with the end result.
