I called the Speedway/Swan Sherwin Williams location as I needed a sample size of a white paint. I asked the guy who answered the phone if they had the white base in stock since the location closest to me (Sunrise/Swan) was out of it. I specifically told him I needed just the sample size of the paint. He said yes (in the most bored voice possible) we have white paint. I drove there and was told this was a commercial location and that they did not sell the sample sizes. I ended up having to drive to the Spanish Trail store. I did not want to go to Lowes or anywhere else for a color match since it was important we have the correct color. Avoid this location unless you want to have your time wasted. read more

I went in here looking for a specific product that the website said they carried. The store is small and I looked around but didn't see it. An employee asked if I needed help and I told him what I was looking for. He said he didn't think they had it and was confused about my parameters. He went behind the counter and typed on the computer. After a few more minutes he went back to helping what I assume was the person in front of me? The person was already in the store also looking lost. I wondered around a bit longer, the employee didn't make eye contact or say anything to me. He fumbled about with the other person so I just left after waiting to see if he had an answer. I needed a product to be tinted called KiwiGrip from New Zealand which is a deck paint usually used for fiberglass surfaces like boats. I called the store and explained my situation to J.C. He was not familiar with my product but was happy to help me. I drove across town to the Speedway location and J.C. helped me personally. He took the time to speak to the folks at KiwiGrip to get proper instructions before my arrival. He helped me pick a perfect darker-shade. As a result, I am extremely satisfied with my end product that was used to complete my project a couple of weeks ago. I am grateful to the professional service that I received from J.C. Crane who happens to be the Operations Manager there. I would not hesitate to do business there again and refer others there as well. read more

This will be my go-to paint store in Tucson Az. The Sherwin Williams staff has always been super knowledgeable and helpful in every location. However, this one is a STANDOUT! Kevin and Caitlyn went above and beyond to assist me on a recent exterior home painting project. When initially purchasing paint, they were extremely helpful. However, as the project proceeded, my painter made a mess of the trim allowing the dark paint to drIp and overspray onto the freshly painted white Brick. I frantically called Kevin at 7 am He listened to my situation and literally took care of everything! His store was out of the base needed so he called another location, ordered for me, and didn't even charge me for the paint! My painter picked up the paint at no charge and repainted to make everything good. I can't thank Kevin enough. This store is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

I might be a little biased because I used to paint homes to make some money in grad school and college and we used Sherwin-Williams paints. )Or does that make me an expert on the subject?) Regardless, I believe we did this because I worked for a guy who cared about his business, and wanted to use only the best of materials. I've tried others--Sherwin-Williams is heads above all other paints out there. The paint offered is top notch, with low VOC readily available. Plus, I have yet to be steered wrong, or even to be displeased with the service given by the staff. This goes for this location, as well as two others in Tucson, and elsewhere across this country. They simply seem to find people who care about their product and their customer base. That all said, expect to pay more than you would buying paint at Home Depot. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for. This location in particular has a great selection of anything and everything you need to start a painting project on the interior or exterior of your property. They also have paint sprayers for rent or purchase. Throw in the good, central location and you have yourself a winner. read more

Need paint? Come here! Know what you want? They have it! Don't know what you want? They will help you find it! But seriously, the staff is very helpful. The paint (I'm no expert!) is good quality. They have all those little painting things that you don't normally think about until you get home and need them (edger things, drop clothes, all the rollers you could dream of). My one complaint is the store itself. I know it's not the fancy part of town, but if someone wants their house to look beautiful, they might want to come to a neat and beautiful store. read more

I went in today to buy a quart of inexpensive paint. Victor helped me and other than quote me the wrong price, was very pleasant. First, told me that the lower quality paints were not available in quart size. Told me $19 for a quart of their more expensive paint which was more than I wanted to pay. Victor then told me SW was having a sale and it would be 30% off. I agreed. Victor then mixed the paint and tried to ring me up, but was having trouble so he called over another person (I assume a mgr - Jason). Jason told us both that $19 was the price with the discount. I told them that I didn't want to pay that much and started to leave. Jason told me to hold on because the paint was already made and that they couldn't do anything with it. I told him I would buy the paint for the price I was quoted but he said he couldn't do that...so I left. Needless to say, I was a bit miffed. I called back to the story and spoke with Jason. I need a quart of paint. He has the paint. He can't do anything with it other than sell it to someone who has a need for a specific color (like me). I was quoted a price that was incorrect. I asked Jason if it was worth losing the money I was quoted, having a quart that wasn't going to be sold soon at best AND losing a customer for life, all over a quart of paint. What a worthless paint store, in Sierra Vista. I bought a special mixed color, about a gallon a year over the last four years. When I called on 5/1 they said they didn't have the colors to mix that color, but it would be ready on 5/6. Not! When I called back on 5/7 they said it was discountinued. Painted a board with two coats of it, went to Home Depot, and had a gallon of a perfect match in less than 10 minutes read more
