We went here to look for a kitchen sink to go with our new countertops. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk in there are displays all over. Kaylene worked with us to find a sink we'd be happy with. She patiently worked through the numbers for a few different sinks. There was no pressure and she told us to go measure our cabinet and give some thought as to what we'd most like. We picked it up last week and think we'll be very happy with our choice. Our contractor directed us to Benjamin Supply, and we've worked with Lisa on two separate remodeling projects. She's amazing! She took time to understand our needs, showed us options that met the criteria, and then made recommendations based on what we liked and our budget. Lisa also set our expectations for the timing of quotes, order placement, expected shipping dates, and arrival in warehouse. The warehouse showroom is fantastic too. There are hundreds of fixtures to check out. Take off your socks and sit in the tub. Try out the shower controls. Decide if the faucet looks good with the sink you selected. We were never rushed through this process. Hopefully, we don't have any other remodels coming up soon, but if you do, we highly recommend Benjamin Supply. read more

Worst customer service. Time consuming, spent 2 hours to order a toilet, had to pay in advance and 5 weeks later, after 3 calls and they kept saying they will call back and "never" did they care less for customer calls, I went there and spent another 1/2 an hour on my day off just to find out they didnt have it or order it, requested my money back after waiting on the counter another half an hour and they were supposed to send an email with reinburment confirmation that couldnt do right away made me write down my email and never got it and still waiting to be reinbursed in my Credit Card. Called back today and they did non had my phone or email! Do not loose your time products are beautifull but not CS. This company use to be top of the line not any more. read more

Benjamin Supply is wonderful. Not much to add other than I took my mom here to look at bathroom fixtures to get in the mode of customizing a new home. The selection is fantastic, and the setting is funky... it made going into downtown (I absolutely despise doing that) worth it. Staff were available if we had questions, but were not pushy. My sons shower would not turn off while I was out of town. He ended up removing the shower handle and having to turn it off by the valve with locking pliers. We went to Lowes to try and find a kit to fix the handle but, the gentleman there said Lowes did not have it. After a quick search on Google I found Benjamin Plumbing Supply. My son and I jetted over there and gave the girl at the front desk the shower handle. She gave it to one of their technicians and he disappeared with it. After several minutes he returned with the shower handle and a card. He was able to identify that my shower handle was a Moen brand and gave me the part # for the replacement parts. He also went as far as to look it up for me and said that Amazon had it for $6. Talk about good customer service!! He could of easily just tried to sell me a new shower handle assembly but, instead he took the time to help me find what I needed. Best customer service ever!! As for the store, talk about impressive!!! Prices seemed average and not overpriced there. Every type of sink, toilet, bathtub, faucets, shower heads, and etc that you could imagine. I didn't even know they made so many variations. Toilets that open their lids and seat when you approach and even a demo room that shows what different ones look like installed. I plan on coming here when I need new items. Absolutely loved browsing this store. Just make sure you have time to spare if you decide to stop by here "just to look", the store is HUGE!! First, we want to give a huge THANK YOU to Kaylene!!!!!!! She is not only helpful, but also very knowledgeable & so easy to work with. Upon our first visit to BS, we were immediately greeted by the friendly receptionist. She told us to feel free and browse the different areas of the showroom and once we were ready to discuss our questions/concerns, just let her know and she will inform a sales rep to come help us out. I loved this process, because it allowed us to check things out visually and tangibly, as you could pick up any faucet and place it on any vanity to get a clearer picture of what it might look like all together. Also, it was nice not to be bombarded by sales ppl as we took our time to check out the different styles & finishes and get a feel for what we liked.... Brilliant!!! We are renovating a bathroom and after surfing the internet and talking with our contractor... we decided to check things out in person. BS has a ton of options on display and everyone is very welcoming & helpful. I really, really like patronizing local businesses, and really like the fact that Benjamin Supply has opted to keep its operations in an area of downtown that needs the love. But Benjamin Supply doesn't make it easy. We're completely remodeling our new house and our contractor recommended them. And he was right to - the showroom is impressive. But the customer service is terrible. Our salesperson immediately demanded to know how to contact our contractor, and I asked her if she needed to get his permission for us to shop there because HAHA! It's my money and all. Once she decided it was okay to actually deal with us, she warmed up some, but the set up is just completely antiquated. There are no prices, anywhere, so we had to make a list for her to look up - not a small task given that we're outfitting 2 bathrooms and a kitchen - and then wait a couple of days for a response.* Every modification to the quote requires another wait, and I have no idea how many options in our price range we missed because it was impractical to have her price everything we liked. And then of course as soon as I had their quote, it took me 30 seconds to look up competing prices online, many of which were quite a bit cheaper. When I picked up some of the items I needed, it took 20 minutes as one of the employees updated the quote paperwork while I watched - not a step in the process I need to be part of. We're determined to buy some items from Benjamin Supply for the aforementioned reasons, but both the archaic service model and the prices mean I'll spend the bulk of my plumbing budget elsewhere. As I write this, I've made an email and phone request for updated quotes for toilets, and no response. I already know what the price is from 3 other suppliers. Plumbers are working next week and I need details. If a business makes it this hard to get information, they just can't complain when I buy what I need online. Most customers aren't going to work as hard as I do to spend my money downtown. *For a better way of dealing with changing pricing, see Tucson Appliance - prices on everything on the floor, but a salesperson gets the final cost (often lower than the floor price) once you tell them what you're interested. Besides the big stuff, a stroll down the aisles of the parts and supplies room will make you realize that it's a truly one-stop spot for everything you need to install whatever you want for your kitchen or bathroom. I've been coming here for all things plumbing for years, not that often, because they sell quality. I just bought all new bathroom fixtures, after 22 years. It was all still working, but I wanted to get rid of the Jacuzzi tub that I bought from these guys to build a big walk in shower. I also got my new TOTO Japanese toilet here of which I am in love with. My old toilet was only thing I did not buy last time from them last time, that was a mistake. They facilitated all of my plumbing needs again, this time including my TOTO (I had to mention it one more time). My husband and I are redoing two rooms, two bathrooms and our kitchen, and this place was suggested to us by our contractor. We went in to see what they had that might work out in our home. The first thing I see upon walking was a "Check in at the desk" sign on what appeared to be a desk, but with nobody sitting at it. We went in during the week, so we kind of figured maybe they were slow enough that someone would just approach us. Nope, we wandered around for a good, solid twenty minutes, and nobody acknowledged us, tried to lead us to the check-in point, not even a "Hi there". Nothing. It was off-putting. We stayed in the front room for a while, since that was where the things we were shopping for were located. Finally, we went up to what we thought was area to put in your orders and negotiate and such, and they hooked us up with a sales rep. The selection was good, lots and lots to choose from! We had a lot of fun picking out the fixtures that we liked, and our sales rep was really helpful with great suggestions and was able to accommodate our schedules and the fact that our contractor was coming in to actually buy the items. The prices were decent. I've definitely seen similar products for a lot more money. They had some really pricey stuff, too, but that't pretty much anywhere you go. I would recommend this place. It's a place to at least start, what with their large selection and all. I do wish that you could get someone to at least show you where the check in area was, or maybe some arrows that show you where to go? It was not the way I wanted to start my shopping experience, but once our sales rep, Alana (I know, same name! I knew I wouldn't forget her name when we met with her!) got out to help us things went really smoothly. read more

This town lately seems filled with so much rude service, misguided management, overpriced items and a society of citizens being fed all this and accepting it - very few put their foot down. Alas, Benjamin Plumbing Supply is a plumbing Wonka-land, where the impossible becomes possible and you can enjoy your imagination. The amazing extent of what they provide, including fixtures, sinks, toilets, mirrors, towel bars, shower heads - combined with how many different makes / models / colors / finishes - made me feel like a kid in a candy store the first time. I WANT ONE OF EVERYTHING. The prices are so reasonable - for instance, there was the most beautiful onyx sink I have ever seen in my life for well under $400. Their showroom has so many displays, so you don't have to look in a catalog. It's right there, in your face. Love it. And if I had to crown one person the Mr. Wonka of Benjamin Plumbing, it's Ernie. Ernie is amazingly knowledgeable, capable of cross referencing anything plumbing without thumbing through notes; he will keep in close touch with you through your order being placed and arriving; he has a great eye for detail and decorative flourishes as well. Where Ernie truly shines is that all of his vast wisdom and certainty is delivered in a soft spoken, sincere, polite, and truly caring manner. This is so hard to find - thank you Ernie. If only everybody in this town could approach their career as you do, Yelp would be filled with 5 star reviews. None needed so I proceeded to their store to pick up my order. Went to the cashier and paid the extra amount due for shipping. She called someone to get my order and bring it up. Amazing showroom, antiquated service! This is a great place to shop for bathroom & kitchen plumbing fixtures. Their displays are well done, intuitive & tasteful. The staff is very friendly, BUT don't expect them to be looking out for you. We had a very nice man help us who knew we were on a budget, but somehow he suggested we buy a toilet that cost 200%+ more than another throne they sell, with very similar features! FAIL! Toilets aren't worth spending a fortune on! I paid for 1/2 the cost of all the fixtures upfront & was told the rough-ins were ready for pickup. What they meant was that the parts are in stock & when you show up expect to wait 30 mintues for the cashier to put together your list & then for the parts to be pulled off the shelf. When Ferguson's tells me rough-ins are ready, I show up to the appointed warehouse & there is a box with my name on it ready to snag. Not sure why these people refuse to modernize. Only reason I have given more than 1 star is that I enjoyed the showroom & the number of fixtures on display was helpful & the staff is friendly. Benjamin didn't lose business to the internet, they lost it due to poor customer service on multiple fronts! read more

We purchased new sink, garbage disposal and Delta Touch faucet for our kitchen remodel. The touch feature does not work on the faucet. When my plumber called them he was told it was not their problem and we should call Delta to solve the problem. I am very disappointed in Benjamin Supply's complete lack of interest in standing behind a very expensive faucet they sold to me. I would not recommend doing business with this company read more

We came in with all our measurements for a nice kitchen replacement sink. We were told by our overly chatty salesman it was a standard size sink and would be "no problem". Our first visit took over two hours, though we picked the sink out quickly. We had been doing research. It took so long we were told we would have to come back another day to pick faucets. We do not live close. When we returned we were told we had to wait for our original salesman, though others were available. Again, nothing was settled on this visit as we had to listen to volumes of info on every faucet. I mistakingly mentioned we also needed an osmosis facet only to be dragged over to a display wall with other types of water filtration systems!? On the third visit we called ahead and they gave us time with Erine. When he finally came out to us we told him we had picked the style and needed to see what the osmosis size faucet looked like under the counter because the osmosis company we use wanted to know a few things. He turned on us and started scolding us about how "they" can't just spend their time showing people their supplies and have them go home and order them on line??? How over the years people take more and more advantage of them like that, and he wasn't going to help us! I wanted to crawl in a hole. Humiliated, I turned to walk out, but turned back and said, "I hope you will still have the decency to call us when our VERY expensive kitchen sink arrives." He quickly changed his tune, still not remembering we had spent more than several hours listening to his ramblings in the past week. We only stayed because we did not want to make another trip there. He even ran off copies of install info for our guy.... We did not buy our faucets there. Then the sink finally arrived. We took it home. Called the plumber and osmosis folks to coordinate days and time to get he sink installed. IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE SINK!! Erine told us it was our fault.... I pulled out my phone and showed him the photos I had originally showed him, 8 weeks earlier, complete with tape measurer. He backed off, checked inventory, found one in Phoenix which could be delivered to the store the next day. IT WAS NOT THE RIGHT STYLE!! It had a low middle divider. This whole conversation started with, "No, we would like the high divider style" NOW, here tells us, standing out on the loading dock, plumber waiting for the 2nd day, "Oh, this size doesn't come with a high divider" He said it did 8 weeks ago.... Oh, he said he wouldn't charge us for the Phoenix special delivery! read more

I spent almost $5K on high end bathroom fixtures. The first shipment was damaged. I had to nag them to update me on the status of the second shipment. Ridiculous. The salesperson, Avana, was incoherent, not at all lucid and not at all helpful. After 15 - 20 minutes of bouncing around, we left. Large selection of plumbing hardware & fixtures set in a large showroom. I don't know why, I love looking at all of those bright & gleaming giant bathtubs & all. I've now renovated 3 bathrooms & replaced 2 water heaters & countless valves using Benjamin supplied fixtures. I've learned the hard way that faucets, toilets, valves etc etc bought to save money from big box stores is a short term solution as the materials used are usually plastic rather than brass. Benjamin seems to be set-up to work with consumers to choose fixtures in the show room & to work with contractors for pick up. A salesperson is assigned to you for your first time. Be prepared with your time - it may take a few extra minutes to wait for a salesperson during busy hours. We have been so lucky to get Alana - she is a fantastic designer - she worked happily with my budget & went the extra mile to find what I was looking for. She's friendly, professional & efficient. I called and spoke with Ernie over the phone about getting a Grohe kitchen faucet. I was explaining to him that I had ordered a spray head replacement for my kitchen faucet and the finish didn't match. He said that Grohe had been having a problem with that particular finish. Ok starting out well then it went downhill. He was very difficult to communicate with. He kept talking over me! Literally I'd be trying to explain something and he would just start talking over me and keep talking. I asked him to please stop talking over me and he kept insisting he wasn't. Can only imagine what it would be like to work with him in person! It was the craziest thing. I worked in retail for 25+ years and would have NEVER treated a customer this way. I just walked out of Benjamin Supply after waiting 40 minutes to be helped. I checked in at front desk and then again to remind her I was still waiting. The receptionist didn't apologize for the delay at all and stated "I don't know how much longer it will be". Too bad for them, I was ready to buy, but instead found what I wanted and bought it online while I was waiting in their store. This store is simply amazing. It's a "plumbing" nirvana for sure. We are in the process of doing some minor updates in our master bathroom, and needed some new faucets in the shower. Checked HD and Lowe's and the help and customer service is hard to find. No one is ever around and when you do finally get someone they know very little about the products. We called Benjamin Supply because they usually stock a lot of items. The store is always busy. Bought some Toto toilets here years ago. They seem to have the corner in the Plumbing business in Tucson. The showroom is awesome. Very high end stuff as well as some moderate stuff. Raoul was our go to man. We called him yesterday and he got our order ready for todays pickup. He is the nicest person with a great attitude and sincere customer service. Wish there was more people around like him. Yes, the prices are not as good at buying on Amazon but here you can look at what you get and bring it back to the store itself if you have a problem. If you want something that really stands out in plumbing supplies, sinks, toilets, towel bars, knobs, etc. This is where to go.
