He said that because I was an adult, there was no way that I could have spaces in my upper teeth, unless I still sucked my thumb! He then continued with his obscure story that as a person becomes an adult, the teeth naturally straighten themselves out without any need for braces. I had never heard such a load of BS in my life! I've seen plenty of adults with spaced teeth and that's why they go to get adult orthodontics. They take the time to make sure that you are taken care of well, that your needs are met, that you understand what issues you might have and how to deal with them and that you are in the best condition with regards to dental care.
