Natalia is an incredibly talented artist and the process of planning (and getting) a tattoo with her was truly impeccable. Natalia and I communicated over email to plan designs before meeting, she had numerous designs prepared when I arrived for my appointment, and she (and I should also thank Hannah for her thoughtful input as well) spent two hours working on the design with me -- making little tweaks until it was perfect. I cannot say how great these folks are! My fiancée got a tattoo from them last year which was a beautiful black with amazing detail, and I just got my first from Raleigh, who is a genuinely fun guy to have jabbing at your skin for a couple of hours. Jules is great to work with. I went to see her for a consultation and another of my tiny tattoos. She takes her time in discussing ideas and understands deciding on what/where/how much is a process. For me, she worked on a larger design that helped me decide I wanted the tiny one as a stand-alone, and we looked at some changes for another piece. She's knowledgeable, smart, talented and loves her work. The shop is clean. There is parking, but it's a little tricky to find the first time so go a bit early in case you pass it or miss it. read more

This tattoo shop is as good as it gets! I Went in with an idea and the amount of enthusiasm that Jules and Raleigh brought to the table are unparalleled to any other shop I had been to ( I went to 4 others with the same idea). Just as their name states they will do your tattoo As You Like It - with no pressure to get started and no fuss when asked to change the art. They listen to you and really try to understand what you would like to see in your completed piece. Just a week and a half after walking in the first time they had my piece ready to go (we changed it pretty drastically twice) and I was getting tattooed. I had a six hour session that went by rather quickly and they were super awesome about letting me relax a bit afterwards and ensuring I was good to go before I went on my way. While I was getting inked another client had came in raving about this studio in the same way I have.....in fact, he ended up getting two tattoos before he left. The shop is tucked away in North Boulder but is definitely worth finding. I can not say enough good things about the way I was treated, the art work they do, or they atmosphere they provide. If you are looking to get a tattoo and want to go to a place that will listen to you and ensure you get exactly what you want, then As You Like It Tattoo will take GREAT care of you. This place is incredible! I got my first tattoo here and I'm no artist but Jules helped me draw and redraw my tattoo until it was perfect, and even helped me add parts that I didn't think of to make it extra perfect. I was moving out of the country in a few days so she took 7+ hours with me in one day to finish the whole thing, letting me have as many breaks as I needed. This was August 2013 and now my tattoo is still full of color and very bold. I get compliments on it all the time!
