I have only managed to get any response to my pleas of assistance for the past 4 months by speaking with the social workers there who can somehow contact the front desk (?). There doesn't seem to be anyone there regarding making appointments. The voicemail box is always full. If you manage to leave a message, good luck getting a return call. Management has not responded to any of the complaints that myself and other patients have had regarding no access to appointments. I was even told by a staff member that I should try to find another place as there probably won't be any changes anytime soon.

In simple terms, he makes processes that could feel complicated much easier to manage. Communication outside of appointments has been excellent as well. Dr. Zhang responds through the Penn portal, provides timely and clear updates on labs and test results, and the app itself makes it easy to manage prescriptions and ask questions. It all adds a layer of convenience and peace of mind that's hard to overstate. The South Street location is a major plus for anyone in Center City. It's easy to get appointments quickly, and having additional services like imaging in the same building makes it feel like a convenient, comprehensive care destination without the chaos of a large hospital campus like HUP or Penn Presbyterian. I understand Dr. Zhang will be leaving in the coming months, which is disappointing as a patient, but I'm genuinely happy for him. He's an excellent doctor and deserves a great next chapter. I couldn't believe this considering it was 5 minutes with an NP for a very straight forward sore throat. Turns out this place intentionally over inflates the amount of time they spend with patients in their notes so that they can charge for an extra long 40 minute appointment. I spent a month trying to dispute this insane bill, but it turns out they can run up whatever nonsense charges they want and there is nothing you can do about it after the fact. This place completely takes advantage of patients, and I will never go back.

After contacting Janice, because one of my specialist doctors didn't appear to be covered under Jefferson Health, she called me at least eight times to follow up, check for updates, make calls to the physician's office, all over 4 business days. My last call from Janice was on my ride to the doctor, to let me know she had spoken with the office, and ensured that my appointment was covered. To the Executives and Board Members of Jefferson Health, if Janice isn't highly promoted, add recognized each year, you're mashing a "big mistake. Big. Huge!" to quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. You have a rare commodity, with extreme value, character, and skills that cannot be taught. Since she's likely in a work for hire position, essentially, she's a free agent. I would've be happy for just a smile - but NOTHING. After sitting for a while, I went to the rude receptionist who was still on a call that was - apparently - more important than greeting patients.
