Worst service I've ever received. My husband and I plus another couple had dinner here on this past Saturday night. We had reservations for 7pm, arrived at 650pm... there was eight open tables. Did not get seated until 7pm, ok. Then our waitress took 15 minutes to bring our drinks, our food came out at all different times, my husband's didn't arrive until 10 minutes after everyone else's and it was cold. Then it took the waitress three times with our bill to sort it out and when she brought us back our check after swiping our card it was $10 more than what she brought us prior and our friends bill was different as well. We came here dinner and were blown away. The veggie sandwich was full of flavor and was the best I've ever had. The Saratoga chip nachos were delicious also. I liked the big selection they had of mixed drinks/beer, I got the peach Moscow mule and would get that again. Overall great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. I really want to like this place. It's gorgeously decorated and nice and airy. Unfortunately the food is overpriced and mediocre. Service is hit-or-miss. Management seems nonexistent. And on weekend nights they have live music, which some people might like, but it got very loud and was difficult to have a conversation with my guest. read more

I've been here before for dinner and just came for lunch. The hospitality is great and the Shift burger is my recommendation.

Beautiful establishment! Love the decor and vibe. We arrived late afternoon so the restaurant was not very busy. I enjoyed the blackened Mahi Mahi street tacos with streamed vegetables. Portion sizes were not huge, just right. I felt satisfied and did not have to take half my meal home. Overall, very encouraged this establishment will do well in an area that needs more restaurant options. Will definitely be back! read more

It was okay. I definitely want to give them the benefit of the doubt since they're a newer restaurant. The prices are definitely high but I believe they're adjusting them a bit. My husbands food came out about 15 minutes after everyone else's at our table. I'm glad we have another option in Bright and definitely suggest giving it a try. Our food could have been better, my order was undercooked and some orders were over cooked. However I didn't say anything and granted if I did they may have fixed it, I just didn't want to wait for new food. I love eating here. Have been 4 times since they opened: twice for just drinks and twice for dinner and drinks. My favorite item on the menu is the street tacos, second favorite are the burgers. I like to order whatever burger is on special for the week (fiesta has been the best so far!). The bar tenders are great, and always remember me. My first visit there, I made a comment about loving sour beers and now each time I visit they always let me know if they have one available or not without my asking. I love that! They also have a great margarita. Great drink prices. Food prices are slightly higher than most restaurants in our area - BUT that's to be expected with an establishment like this, so I do not complain. I recommend this place! read more

After the first visit, due to the noise level, was reluctant to return. Gave it about a year and went again. Appetizers of huge pretzel and upgraded (new) nachos were fine. The $24 fish special was special, like in 'specially small. The fish portion was, I kid you not, five bites. Wish we had taken a picture of the plate - it must have been embarrassing for the waitress to bring it to the table. The asparagus spears were too tough to eat the larger end. So $24 for five bites of fish and about six bites of asparagus...don't recall what the starch was. The street tacos were okay. The bill for the special, 3 tacos, two beers, two appetizers was $75. Started out pretty good when they first opened but going down hill. Went to Sunday brunch a couple of weeks ago. The young man serving at the breakfast buffet said he had to dish out our food because of COVID restrictions. However, his mask was below his chin! Two of us ordered eggs over easy with the buffet. The young lady preparing the eggs actually flattened them, broke the yolks and served them when we were finished with our food. We had been for dinner a couple of times before this and service was extremely slow and the food mediocre. Hope they improve. read more

Shift is amazing! The staff and management really cares about their employees and guests, making my experience so much better! The burgers are the best in town and very creative! I really enjoy the ambiance and style of the restaurant as well. The chefs really know what they are doing and you can tell the employees enjoy working there which adds to a business. The main chef came out and talked to each of the tables about their experience and making sure they enjoyed it, which really adds touch to a resturant. Definitely recommend and definitely worth my business! read more

I was expecting more based on the price. I think they need more time/feedback to improve. I got the short rib tacos. Meat was good but too much horseradish. I got a side of Mac n cheese and was basically boxed Kraft Mac and cheese. I expected more. Burger was average, nothing great about it. Building and Decore was beautiful. Wednesday night trivia was fun, a little slow paced though. I will go back again in a couple of months. I'm sure they will work out the kinks. read more

The food was great here and I really liked the restaurant as a whole, but the tables were very close together and many people (workers) were not wearing a mask properly. If things were a bit more spread out or any precautions seemed to be taken, it would have been a better experience. read more

Went there last night after a night at work, just a bit past 9pm and the only option on the menu were the street tacos. Don't get me wrong, the tacos were delicious but disappointing that they're open until midnight and only keep one option open on the menu after 9. also very overpriced for what we got. Beautiful restaurant lighting is amazing! The food was really fresh and seasoned good! We ordered the wings nachos and split the shift burger. My son had the chicken tenders and fries. The wings were so tender and the burger was very moist and cooked perfect...probably the best wings and burger I've ever had. The menu isn't very big but I'm assuming because everything is cooked to order fresh. The service was also on point! Will definitely be returning! read more

We went to shift for the first time last night and it was great! We had a party of 15 so making reservations were important! We started out with 3 pretzel appetizers and they were huge! Definitely enough for our group. They came with cheese and mustard, which were both delicious! For dinner I ordered the Reuben and I would definitely order that again! It was big with lots of meat and sauerkraut! The service was great and the owner was even coming around and talking to tables! We will be coming back! read more

Been here on a couple occasions and pretty much got the same results. The service is slow and the food not up to par with pricing. The food is just ok for the most part. When I walked in I was digging the vibe. It was our first time being there since they opened. The restaurant was really nice, workers were really nice and making us feel welcome when we walked in through the doors. I know it was Mother's Day, which i knew it was going to be busy to begin with. Wanted my mom to enjoy her Mother's Day dinner, since we don't really eat as a family anymore. There was 3 tables that sat down right after us. They got their food before us. We been waiting for our food for at least a hour. Our waitress was nice but she said the reason why we haven't gotten our food is because they "lost" our ticket. The waitress comes back after talking to her manger that our food will be for free for waiting hour or so for our food. Also that she talked her manager to speed up the process but by then my parents wasn't going to wait any longer. Therefore we left the restaurant and not pleased with how long we waited for our food. I don't think we will come back after that. read more

I'm going to reluctantly give this restaurant 2 stars bc the fried pickles were good, the price at $15 make them not worth the drive back. Upon entering, we must've been invisible as it took too long to be greeted. We were sat, and were promptly greeted for our order. We had never been, needed a moment. We were given enough time to bring our drinks and was asked for our order again. I suppose their encouraged to take your order quickly before you realize the prices on the menu are on the verge of ridiculous. We ordered. It took at minimum 30 minutes for our salad, and another 45-60 minutes for our meal. I eventually asked about this, and within minutes the meal was brought to our table. Lukewarm to cool at best. The pork chops looked like 2 pathetic chops, that you may see served by McDonalds. Perhaps they were thawed McRibs. I've seen better food served at Waffle House. After reading reviews, I see I'm not the only one with this opinion on food quality, or time spent waiting on your meal. I can see similar reviews from 2018 & 2019. Clearly they have no desire to change their service, menu or prices. read more

Awesome food with a great vision for quality; great bar staff well trained and going above and beyond. As a new restaurant - some rough patches but one can see the staff and chef are gelling well and quick to get corrected. Restaurant was full and we could see why - some of the best food in the area, and they're killing it with the appetizers. Can't wait for the next visit! read more
