This is a tale of 2 visits. The first time I was here, everything was quite good. This time, not so much. The front of house "guys" seemed like they could care less we were there. Our server was nice and she tried to be empathetic of the slow kitchen. The food came out temped...at best. This was a Friday at 2 in the afternoon. I'm not sure what the snails pace was about, but I can say I likely won't be back. It's a shame, I was hoping for the food and response, from my first visit. Aside from all that, their dining are bar had a leak on the floor and the sour smell that went with it. Sorry folks, not a good visit. read more

Food was fantastic, service & speed was amazing, my drink never went empty and that's always a plus. I asked if they could make a dish for me that I hadn't had in a few since their sign said "best bbq" & they made bbq mac & cheese for me & it was perfect! My best friend got the chicken strips tossed in teriyaki & it was great as well. She loved the Coleslaw & loved that it had no onions. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area! My husband & I frequent this establishment frequently, but unfortunately their service has gotten worse each time we've gone over the last 6 months. Tonight was the last straw. Ordered two dinners online. We were given a time for when our food would be ready. When my husband went to pick up our dinners, he was about 10-15 minutes late getting there & our food wasn't ready. He waited for about 20 more minutes & it STILL wasn't ready. He told someone there to cancel our order & requested a refund, to which he was told that they couldn't do a refund & that we needed to request a refund from where we ordered, which was their website. The request has been made, so hopefully we will get our refund. We were planning our company get-together at Hoosier Icehouse, but after tonight we'll be looking for another establishment. read more

Ultimate plus for me to be able to bring my two pups that they provide water for and EVEN have a DOG MENU, that I thought was very unique and definitely makes me wanna come back for suuuure! I ordered the Cajun grilled chicken Sammy which was cooked to perfection w/ da pepperjack cheese and all the sammy fix-ins!! The Produce is Very Fresh and top notch with is a definite plus in my book... got the waffle fries as my side which paired perfectly dipped in their famous white BBQ sauce yummm-mmmy!! Also ordered a Spring Mixed Salad with da Cajun shrimpies on top, probably one of the best salads ive had in awhile. Ranch is made in house also another plus in my book ... You gotta pass the ranch test period, none of that preordered bottled/bag sh**... Lastly, my favorite "The Funnel Fries" yes I said it they have Funnel Fries.... I never get dessert at a restaurant but this one reeled me in for sure !!! I enjoyed a lunch w Gramma a few weeks ago at Hoosier Icehouse. On Friday Gramma wanted to go out for burgers, so Mom and Gramma and I went out. Seating was nearly immediate. The waitress took our order and I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes (seemed like 5). Sandwiches were great. 10 buck chuck, pulled pork and Fish fillet. The only thing that wasn't liked were the onions in the pulled pork, but that's my wife. Then we ordered dessert: cheesecake and the brownie sundae. Again it was good and served up quickly. 5/5 the vibe is sick and a lot of cool stuff inside the resteraunt painted on the walls. SUPER clean and all the staff were welcoming. Reagan was a great waitress. Food is fire ! Literally I got the Cajun pasta and that dish had a kick for sure! You can add crème to your pasta but I didn't and I'm not mad. If you don't want to spicy, I'd add it. My wife got the Italian hoagie and she loved it she said the bread was crispy and the cheese was melted just all together delish! And make sure you get those ice house tots. This is our 5th visit to the Hoosier Icehouse, we have never had a bad meal. The menu has changed which was a little disappointing since they eliminated the appetizer the trio sampler which we just adored. We had an amazing experience at Icehouse! Amber was a fantastic server--super attentive and fun. She made sure our wings and burgers were delicious and perfectly timed, and she kept my man's beer full for the entire celebration!!! :) The highlight was definitely the brownie dessert--Amber made sure it looked incredible, and no joke, people were walking by our table saying "oh my gosh" because of how amazing it looked! We felt like VIPs. The whole vibe of Icehouse is great--fun theme, awesome food, and incredible staff. Huge shoutout to both Amber AND Kaitlyn for making the night unforgettable. Met someone here for dinner. Sat at the bar. Large square shaped bar. Approximately 16 seats. Several high tops in the bar area. They also have a large dining area away from the bar. Probably a dozen beers on tap. Craft as well as your staples. Full specialty cocktail menu. The food was excellent my date had chicken tacos, and I had a buffalo chicken wrap, which was one of the best that I've had. We had cucumber salad as a side dish and it was amazing. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Great local feel and atmosphere. Right in downtown Lawrenceburg, but there is plenty of parking across the street. Many other options in the area as well if you'd like to get out and walk which we did after our meal. Highly recommend this place. read more

Ordered their chicken tenders with waffle fries as a takeout...man, oh man! First, the size of the tenders were massive; nearly the size of three chicken breasts. They were juicy, hot and were seasoned well. The waffle fries were, well, about what you'd expect..no surprises there. I'm not a coleslaw guy, so I didn't try it. Rustic (some might say spartan) decor, (inside or out) AND excellent food!!! Their Tater tots are fantastic and you get a lot in an order! We even went back and made a meal of a double order!!! Their sandwiches, no matter of hoof, fish or fowl are great and the prep is fast and the servers are great as well. Would we go back? Every chance we get! This is the 2nd time I've been there, and both times the food was terrible. I had the fish sandwich and tater tots. Both were saturated with grease, including on the inside. I managed to choke down about half, and felt sick for hours afterwards. Server was friendly and attentive; we were there at an off hour and there were only 2 or three other tables with customers. Horrible! Do not recommend! Food Service was terrible. Sat outside and they have kids running around and dogs. I saw a server pet a dog and continue to serve tables without washing her hands. There was no host at the door when I arrived, I stood there for a good 5 minutes...just to be sat outside. I ordered the catfish dinner and it came out slimey and I believe undercooked. Prices are crazy for the quality of food served. Definitely a 0/10. read more

We visited this nice restaurant, looking for a new place to eat. I am a gluten free eater. This makes me a picky eater. Not the best food options for a GF eater. But I did manage to find something to eat. I really like how clean the restaurant is. The staff was constantly sweeping the floor and wiping down tables, chairs ,etc. One staff member asked if it was okay to sweep while we ate. That was nice to ask. The food we ordered was to right temperature also tasted good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone whom wants to try a new place with great food. read more
